Stopped here for lunch. Initially wanted to try Beaver Tacos ( ) but opted for cafe. I really had high hope for this place, fun little restaurant with some funny shirts for sale and cute decor. They were little busy but not too much. Stood in front waiting as one waitress looked at us, didn't say a word and kept on doing what she was doing. Another gal came by and said she will be right with us. Eventually got sat and got to order food. Menu had funny names and sounded pretty good. I didn't know what to order so I went safe route and ordered fried fish (cod) with tater tots. Also ordered the Branding iron cheese steak and The barnyard burger. Food took little longer than expected but they did have a large table before us Food finally arrives and well, what can I say, had one of those should have would have could have but didn't moment. My 3 fish pieces and tator tots looked like straight out of the frozen box from the grocery store. Now I did not expect them to be fresh catch off the ocean and hand battered but I just could not help the presentation and feeling I got. The sandwich looked OK and cheese was not quite melted. Hamburger looked good though. Fish tasted like it looked, although they were crispy right off the fryer so that was a plus. Tator tots and French fries were alright, at least crispy. Sandwich was another disappointment. The sandwich bread was nice and soft but I could not get over the cheap grocery store deli meat roast beef taste for the beef. I did not try the burger but did see the yoke ooze out as first bite was taken. I was told burger was pretty good. Over all service was pretty good but food just was very disappointing. We stopped by here along route 15 to grab lunch on our way back from Bryce Canyons. I recommend the Burgers and Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and the fires where also very good. For desert i would recommend stopping by the The Creamery down the street for some fresh made ice cream. read more

Great experience on a quick lunch stop while traveling through. Barnyard Burger was delicious, as were the Tetris Tots. We also tried the Grown Up Grilled cheese with fries, Chicken Strip basket, and the Sticky Wrap. Sophie was a great server and helped us pick between a lot of great selections. Last week, I stopped by the Crazy Cow Café for a late breakfast or early lunch. I enjoyed their freshly made Crazy Club sandwich and tater tots. The sandwich was great but the tater tots were just average. The service was quick and friendly service, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Sweet little restaurant with plenty of room, but not very busy on a Sunday evening. Dining area was clean. Good selection of desserts. They use Blue Bunny ice cream so the desserts were good. But the soup, burgers, sandwiches and tots were just okay. Not bad, just not something that I could get excited about. The soup did not appear homemade, the burger had the texture of being frozen prior to cooking. The salad was from a bagged mix that should have been thrown out. But, that ice cream. That was good. The bathrooms smelled of bleach and were clean, but could have been tidied up. Service was very good. Out waitress was clarifying preferences and checking on us to see if we needed anything. To be fair, I'd have to come try this again, sample some of the dinner entrees and try the pie before making a decision on visiting again or not. read more

We were driving south on 15, a billboard soon appeared, The Crazy Cow Cafe is what my eyeballs heard. A great alliteration, the Triple C Cafe, "We should stop and eat there I heard my Sweet D say. Stop We did and fast we broke. We were not disappointed, our stop a lucky stroke. Stephen King put Triple C in a story. Therefore he ate here. I'm sure he had the Skinny Chick just like me and her. The toast was Beaver Sourdough, the taters shredded fresh. The omeltte and explosion, veggies from the best. The coffee pours were endless, the service #1. It was time for lunch and the first place we stopped at had a long line and was really crowded. So as we headed out of town, I read Yelp reviews and we stopped. Towing a boat can be tricky, but there is plenty of parking. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman, and seated immediately. Lots of seating and comfortable bench seats. We ordered two iced teas, The Branding Iron Philly Cheesesteak (and our waitress suggested Au jus to go with it), and the Sticky Chicken Wrap. Both came with a side of crispy tater tots in the shapes of Tetris playing pieces. The wrap had crispy sweetly coated pieces chicken tenders, cucumber, tomato, red leaf lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese. It came with a side of ranch, and I only finished half and there is plenty to eat. The cheesesteak had green peppers, onions, melted cheese and served on a soft roll. The only down side was it could have used a little more of the onions and peppers. The teas were a little weak, but we know not everybody wants stronger iced tea. Our waitress Danny was a pleasure and very sweet. We were even asked by another worker if we had any dog allergies because a lady was coming I to dine with her service dog. Nice cafe style restaurant with high walled booths and lots of tables. Very nice staff that helped us make the right choice for lunch. The cow theme was so cute. I love cows. From pics to pillows, from tees to housewares, there were lots of fun things to choose from if you wanted to buy a souvenir. I wanted a light lunch and opted for the soup of the day, which was taco soup, and a side salad. The soup was a hearty chili with a taco flavor and corn, topped with crunchy strips. The side salad had fresh veggies. Everything was good and it was the right amount of food. We also took a short drive down Main Street Beaver. Fun to see these small towns. read more

Everything was warmed not hot. So it didn't seem freshly cooked. The Pattie's were warm but pretty flavorless. This included the tater tots and the sweet potato fries. Diner style eatery with good prices and a crazy cow theme. My waitress, Savannah, was very friendly and helpful. Their desserts look delicious but I'm trying to eat better so I had to skip them. I had a decent burger, but the tater tots look and taste like something you buy for your kids in a five pound bag from the frozen section at Walmart. Two stars for the tots, four for the burger, five for Savannah, and two stars for the slow kitchen. That comes to three and half stars, but I'm rounding up to four because the place was clean and the atmosphere enjoyable. read more

I found myself hungry as I was making my way down I-15 this past weekend. I was not feeling the gas station breakfast, so I stopped here at the Crazy Cow Café. Fun branding-they do a nice job of maintaining the cow theme throughout. Service was friendly but a little slow. One of the staff members had a shirt on that said "be patient, there are like 3 people working here" which I thought was funny-and appropriate. We all could use a reminder to be patient these days. Food was ok-nothing remarkable, but it got the job done. I thought the prices were a little high for a café in a small town. The cheapest meal on the breakfast menu was $11.50. This place definitely deserves a higher rating than what it currently has! Personally, my husband and I had a 5-star experience. We stopped to stay the night in Beaver at the Best Western Paradise and the front desk gave us a voucher for a free cheese curd appetizer or cheesecake and two vouchers for free breakfast at the Crazy Cow Cafe located in the same parking lot as the hotel. We rolled over for dinner and the place was packed, especially considering it was a Sunday evening. We had maybe a 10-15 min wait but they filtered everyone through pretty quickly. All of the staff were extremely friendly--several waiters took care of us and helped each other out by making sure drinks were always filled, orders were taken, and food was delivered to all the tables so no one was waiting on anything while it was so busy. The food was EXCELLENT! We got the cheese curd appetizer with ranch and marinara (free with our voucher), full rack of ribs with FOUR sides (my husband got salad, cornbread with honey butter, baked beans, and the baked potato), and I got the French dip sandwich with fries (don't forget to add provolone). Everything was absolutely delicious--we literally ate everything on our plates and did not have any leftovers. My husband was SO STOKED on these ribs. The meat fell right off the bone. They have a seriously good-looking dessert menu! Pies, fried Oreos, butter cakes, milkshakes, ice cream, and the list goes on. At the time, we didn't have room for dessert because we eaten so much food for our dinner--but after walking back to our hotel room, we couldn't stop thinking about the butter cake so we ended up walking back after our dinner had settled and ordered dessert. I am SO GLAD we did because the butter cake with caramel ice cream was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Like INSANELY GOOD! I'm still drooling just thinking about it. We travel through Utah pretty often so we will definitely be adding the crazy cow cafe as a pit stop on our drive through from now on! read more
