This was a first! Restaurant patrons exiting the restaurant greeted us with assurances that we were gonna love the food! But- before the good food came award worthy service. It began with our hostess who seemed to genuinely want to know how we were feeling this morning. Her eyes sparkled as she seemed pleased to converse with us as she escorted us to our table. Kaydence, our server, makes the word "effervescent " come to life. She was so very pleasant and welcoming! It was wonderful! The meal was delicious, but who can argue with getting three meats in one breakfast. The All American Pig Out lived up to its name. The coffee was fresh and Kaydence kept the cup filled. The atmosphere was a mixture of tourist and hometown regulars vibe! We'll probably stop here on our way back tomorrow. Hope the same team is in duty. read more

Visited during a one night stay in Cedar City. Recommended by Fairfield Inn. Comfortable place, Fun decorations. Great food and service. Great visit. We had dinner there. (Bet the breakfasts were great here too.) Nearby new Chinese restaurant was also fine (by rebuilt railroad station) and a visit to a State Park Homestead Museum was exemplary. Can't argue with the value, as the prices are very reasonable. I liked the big heaping of coleslaw that they serve with the burgers. I got a pastrami and swiss burger, which was okay. I thought it was outstanding, and we all enjoyed the gravy. Kids meals were great, and the portions were enough to feed rambunctious kiddos. Service was attentive, despite being pretty busy and us having a party of 10. I thought the California burger that my wife got was really good, and the Fry sauce that they give you is a fun Treat. Had breakfast here last weekend visiting family. Seemed that every spot in the city had a little bit of a wait, but they were kind and texted us when our table was ready! We had omelette, French toast and country fried steak at our table and everything was tasty! It was a little crowded inside but still comfortable seating. This is my third and very last time visiting this establishment. I don't understand the mentality of an organization who feels it's unnecessary to train its wait staff. While the food is good, not great, the service is simply unacceptable. Currently they have a burger special going on from 2-5. $8.99 gets you any burger on the menu, fries and a drink, today I walked in and ordered the burger at 1:51pm. Now... if the server gave a crap about the customers, she should have said, the burger special doesn't start for another 9 minutes, would you like to wait. She didn't. Because her focus isn't on making long term customers. Her focus is simply getting through her shift. But, here's where it all fell apart. As I went to pay for my bill I asked about the burger special. The same server who gave me horrible service the first time I was there decided to jump into the conversation and essentially told the cashier to charge me full and send me on my way. If your staff is so bitter and vindictive that they feel the need to do that... so, this is my very last time in your establishment. Congratulations! Your $1.50 extra charge over 9 minutes and a young woman's hurt feelings can go serve someone else! This should be an embarrassment for an owner that actually wants to build a long term business. But, considering that your staff is nothing short of a lawless gang who doesn't know what they are doing... Good luck with that! read more

I almost kept driving until I saw all the cars in the back parking lot. Older decor. The Good: Greeted by a friendly hostess. Already feeling that All American Diner vibe. Coffee drinkers will love this place. They leave the carafe at your table! Food was really was all-American. Good portions and fresh. They accomodated me with a biquit & grave instead of toast. The Bad: Haha. The decor was more "Neglected 50's Diner" than "50' Diner." Other than that no complaints. The place was pretty busy which is always a good sign. The Ugly: Nothing I can think to write about. The Verdict: You will have a pleasant experience if you're not too picky or critical of the decor. I came here with friends and their kids on the way to Salt Lake City for the holidays (last month). We had a long drive from L.A. and we were hungry so we stopped here to give it a try. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice, attentive and professional. We were a party of 11. We ordered our food and considering that we're a big party the food came out within 10 mins! First thing I have to do is comment about the service. It was "Awesome". Very fast, friendly, and my coffee cup was never less than half full. They're right on top of things. Trekking back from a trip out to Duck Creek, our party of 4 was hankering for some breakfast/lunch to hold us over on our trip back to Vegas. We stopped by the All American Diner and after a ridiculously accurate wait time from the hostess, we were seated within 15 min on a busy Sunday morning. We were coming back from Zion and got hit with heavy rain with a touch of snow and we had to grab a bite to eat. We looked for a place to eat. We found this place and thought it would be a good place to eat. Was happy to find out they had breakfast 24/7. Some of us wanted breakfast and others lunch. The burger and grilled cheese was pretty basic. The breakfast was stuffed with too much stuff and the quality of the eggs, ham, vegetables seem the best quality. While eating on the other side we were hearing lots of noise of shuffling and noise. They may have been moving and shuffling furniture for like 15 minutes or so and it was rather distracting. The service from the restaurant staff person who seated and served us was efficient and nothing very special. Definitely wait staff should be the heart and soul of an eatery for me regardless of the food. Unfortunately this place was lacking. Suggestions - invest in getting better quality ingredients and reduce ingredients inside the omelettes and use better seasoning and flavor would be a lot better. Also would save money in long run. The service was terrible, after watching other people who came in after us have their orders taken we finally asked if someone could take our order. we didn't even get water till after we were sitting here for 15 minutes. My partners philly cheesesteak was dry and was more like a couple pieces if riast beef with two pieces if cheese. We waited way to long for our meal to come, close to 20 minutes.
