Where to start? From the beginning I guess. We had a garage fire, unfortunate but it happened. The scariest part is that I was home and my pregnant wife was at work. Remember this detail. Called the insurance and they picked CRBR to do the restoration. Everything started pretty good, we had a crew showing up within a couple of days to do the soft content cleaning and place them in a POD that was parked in our driveway. Good. One of the guys showed up for an estimate and the scope. Good. Next step:demo. Done quickly. And this is when everything went downhill. All of the drywall was left in my driveway for weeks, with the promise of "oh tomorrow somebody is gonna come pick it up". When finally the trash was picked, crickets. For months. And months. Always an excuse "the project manager, quit" "the new project manager got fired" "the new project manager is catching up, sorry!" So I finally decided to go to the office in person. I have to say they were extremely nice and showed me the new scope and estimate which was about $10k higher than originally drafted. Naturally I asked if the insurance was notified and it was approved "of course, nothing to worry about!" Ok then let's go. Crickets. Crickets. Crickets. You remember my pregnant wife? My child was now 14 months old; but the job was done, at last! Couple weeks later, we got a letter that we needed to pay about $10k for the additional work. So called the insurance and they never approved anything. Called CRBR, they never sent the additional scope to the insurance company, but I still have to pay as the job was completed and I am responsible for it. Oh and they were gonna put us in collections if we don't pay. At this point I disclosed the fact that I'm actually IICRC certified in fire&smoke, water, mold and bio; and my wife is an insurance broker. We are the customers from hell in this case if you poke us. They sent a bill to the insurance with a whole bunch of parts that were claimed to be replaced but weren't: insurance fraud; we authorized the job to continue, signed the contract under false pretenses:illegal. And I wasn't shy about it, put me in collections, I'll sue you. Long story short, they sent a revised invoice to the insurance company (which dropped us, by the way, so thank you CRBR) and got their money. Do yourself a favor, call COIT or ServPro. read more

The work CRBR did was very good. Our problem was with the office. We paid our "Final" balance when work was completed. A month later we received a rude threatening call from Bailey in the office demanding another $1000. I asked for some invoicing clarification, which I never received. A month later, another threatening phone call, with no explanation as to why another $1000 due. No invoices were ever sent to us, or given to us, until this last week. No "paid" invoices were ever offered to us either. So CRBR does fine work, just keep an eye on the financial end. read more

This company did a water damage tear out of flooring . The disgusting mess they left was uncalled for. They tore the subflooring out uneven, tore off cabinet facing, and tossed it, never pulled any of the staples from floor, just smashed them down with a hammer. They put cardboard boxes down on the floor for the customer to walk on and trip on. Pure laziness, and neglect. I would never recommend this company. read more

I cannot say enough good things about CRBR! Our upstairs bathroom got a leak and they took care of everything from the drying to remodeling! Matt walked me through every step of the way and he was easy to communicate with! He would text me updates and dealt with my insurance so I didn't have to! He was always around to answer all of my questions, and I had a lot of questions :) Thank you Matt! Chase did a phenomenal job drying up the water and getting our home ready to be remodeled. He took his time and explained every detail along the way! We were blown away by the work they did! Our home looks better than before! Cory, Tom and Mike did an amazing job remodeling. Tom is a perfectionist and he did an outstanding job! He even gave us tips on how to make our home look even better! Mike made our house look new with fresh paint! His work was meticulous! Cleanrite-Buildrite has been the best company I have ever worked with. I recently had a lot of water damage in my home and it's been an absolute nightmare, if it wasn't for these guys, I would have lost it. Every single member of the company that I met was phenomenal, amazingly friendly, and wanted to help in any way possible, doing anything from attempting to fix random things that they noticed, making my home look nicer than it was BEFORE the damage occurred, to even giving me tips for my house. Scott, Andrew and Braden (I hope I spelled that right) were all a pleasure to work with, I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. I have never been so happy with a company before!!!! read more

our house had a flood so the floors needed to be replaced. it was an insurance job under our USAA policy. USAA took care of us immediately and this company was the one selected to do the work. we were told that they had to pack up our belongings and our furniture to take it to storage so they could replace the flooring. we were told it would take 3 to 4 weeks. 14 weeks later we have not received all of our furniture back. what they did return was damaged. my antique 1890 dining set they returned only 2 chairs one the arms of the chair was broken completely off the other one the wood was chipped and scratched. also the new flooring was damaged during what furniture they returned. now we have to deal with finding the rest of our belongings and seeing what condition it is in. we asked about the pack in and if they would be hooking up the tv,s and computer and putting back the things they packed out and where told originally that was included but now they say that is not included REALLY!!!! now they are trying to blame us. we are retired and disabled how do we deal with this? read more

UPDATE ON THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY! AFTER EVERYTHING I WENT THROUGH WITH THEM, THEY SUED ME. YES THAT'S RIGHT! I TRIED TO EXPLAIN FOR OVER A YEAR THAT DUE TO THE UNETHICAL AND UNDER INDUSTRY STANDARDS JOB, LEAVING A SOAKED FLOOR OF MOLD IN MY HOUSE THAT I DID NOT THINK I SHOULD BE OBLIGATED TO PAY THEM THE INITIAL AMOUNT, THEY HAD DEMANDED TO START THE JOB AND ALL THAT WENT DOWN...INSTEAD OF BEING AN ETHICAL COMPANY THEY SUED ME. YES THEY LOST BECAUSE THEY WERE IN THE WRONG, BUT THEY PUT ME THROUGH HELL FOR YEARS. OH AND THEY ADMITTED THAT THEY HAVE BEEN TO COURT FAIRLY OFTEN...WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU? IF YOU DO NOT TAKE MY ADVICE AND USE THEM ANYWAY, YOU BETTER MAKE SURE THEY ARE DOING THE JOB RIGHT! OTHERWISE YOU WILL END UP WITH MOLD ON, IN MY CASE THE FLOORS AND THEY WILL COVER OVER IT AND YOU WILL NEVER KNOW TELL YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE STARTS GETTING SICK FOR UNKNOWN REASONS! I AM TELLING YOU THIS TO BE AWARE. Steer clear from this company! They are contracted with AAA which is my insurance company. My dishwasher leaked and damaged my floor and my cabinets. Initially when we set up the appointment they were very charming and nice...however, their first order of business was mold remediation and they failed miserably in doing the job! The main issue was that they not only did not properly remideate the mold but they sent a guy who told me he had only been on the job for 2 weeks and left him alone on the job...they claimed to AAA they had completed the job but the floor was soaking wet. I contacted AAA said, I don't think this job was done properly and asked them if I could get another company to inspect it. When they showed up they asked me, what did they do? Long story short the job had to be done by another company who properly did the job. My advice is when it comes to your home NEVER use a preferred provider of AAA! I thought it would be the fastest easiest way to get the job done right but it was not! It was/is a nightmare! Bottom line, if I had not been on site to witness what was going on cleanrite buildrite which I now call clean wrong build wrong would have covered up the mold with flooring and I would never had known. I wonder how many homeowners have used this company and how many have been bamboozaled into believing the job got done to industry standards!? Not only that their "manager" tai, was a bully and used that as leverage against me. In the end, I just wanted the job done right...and that is what I got when TAHOE MOLD AND WATER came to my rescue. Although there is a response from this company to my review, do not let yourself get suckers in. He is only trying to make himself look good. I'm an Engineer at a big hotel in Lake Tahoe. We called CRBR and within an hour they were there to save the day. Very knowledgeable staff, the work was done quick and right the first time. We've tried the other companies, CRBR is the best in town! Couldn't ask for more, definitely gonna call CRBR anytime we need them. Thank you for everything you did! read more

Negative -0 this company is the worst company out there for doing the home restorations after a flood and doing repairs on your home I was told by them that my home was too small and it would take a while to get my flood damage floors fixed in my kitchen laundry room bathrooms and closet I was told that my house was not enough money for them to make offer so would have to be on the back burner when I finally got around to doing the floors they did a crappy job of putting the floors in they damage the floorboards the floors were scratched and damaged And the appliances were not put in properly and one was actually broken after they installed it. items were missing from my home when I try to get this matter resolved I was told it was my problem deal with it by management and corporate I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against them and I plan on following up in court also. I advise anyone that tries to use clean rite build right to beware before you use them you will regret it read more
