Not only is the food AMAZING! But the ice cream is PHENOMENAL. I am so glad to have enjoyed such an amazing experience here at my local dairy queen in Channahon. Such kind loving staff! Thank you so much for all the amazing treatment you give to all the customers around us.

Received food which was for EAT IN at 8:57pm. 1 minute later a rude young kid stood up and yelled to everyone they were closing at 9 and everyone needs to leave. We had taken maybe 1 bite. A chubby blonde girl feeling BIG harassed us saying we need to leave or she'd call police. They called police. The nice officer said if he were us he'd be calling DQ corporate/Mgt but said we had to leave because it was private and they wanted us out. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT THIS PLACE. We support local business but will NEVER spend another penny at this disgusting place. When a bunch of flunkies are left in charge - what else can you expect? Lousy service, Lazy employees, Crappy food, and DISGUSTING OWNERSHIP! Do not do business there. The Creamery in Minooka, Il is locally owned, well respected, and community loved. The woodwork with the tables are sturdy and was fun that the resin pour there were lil sharks in the table. So fun. Now the food. Very reminiscent of the Polish restaurants I remembered going to as a child with family on the South side of Chicago. Their house made bread with butter was very good. My husband got a beer and liked it so much he got bottles to go. He had gotten the breaded pork chop stuffed with cheese. I got pierogi and sides of fried cabbage and the sweet and sour beets. Would recommend all of it and would get it all again! Looking forward to our next visit.

A True Gem for Polish Cuisine Lovers!…read more We had the pleasure of visiting Delight Wish on a Thursday night, and what a fantastic experience! Our party of two was seated right away, with no wait, making for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and I absolutely love the huge wooden tables--plenty of room to spread out all your plates and truly savor the meal. Their drink selection is impressive, featuring a great variety of European beers, wines, sparkling wines, and classic Polish/Eastern European liquors. I ordered a Prosecco (they offer convenient, single-serving bottles--such a great touch!), while my friend opted for a Perła (Polish beer) with raspberry syrup. If you've never tried this combination, I highly recommend it! It's a nostalgic taste of Polish summers--a crisp Polish lager or pilsner with a hint of raspberry syrup. For food, I ordered the sauerkraut and mushroom pierogi, while my friend chose the potato and cheese (ruskie) pierogi. We both had them fried to perfection and served with sour cream on the side. Absolutely delicious! I also added a side of beets with horseradish (a perfect complement to the pierogi) and a serving of bigos (hearty and flavorful--just as it should be!). The prices are reasonable, the portions generous, and the flavors authentic. Plus, while you're there, you can pick up Polish bread, candy, chocolates, and chips to take home, making it a perfect spot to stock up on your favorite treats. I'll definitely be back--and if you're in the area, this is a must-try!

Went there at 5:10 pm on 5/13…read more Placed our two item order via drive through as follows: 2 scoop sugar cone; two scoop hot fudge sundae. They were out of the first five common flavors we asked for. Ok new flavors picked. Order verified three times. Pull up to window and there's about 4 20 something year old girls working. So two scoop cone arrives, not on a sugar cone. Advise of error, they spend 5 minutes figuring out how to redo it. Meanwhile wrong cone is melting in my hand. We pay the bill. $9 and something. New cone arrives correct. They won't take first cone back so I ask for a bowl for it as it's dripping everywhere. I get the smallest bowl of all time. They then tried to send us off. I'm like uhhh we still have a sundae we're waiting on. What flavor was that I'm asked. Then they want us to pay the bill again. I said you already did - but she tells me it didn't go through (again several minutes have gone by). So I dig out my card again and she swipes it. Then tells me oh it did go through. "Sundae" arrives and it's two pitiful scoops of ice cream with one drizzled line of hot fudge across top. Nothing else. Pretty sad in today's day and age when all you have to do is read a screen for the order - and make it. Won't be going back - not a brain amongst them.

As we were walk in a very rude worker looked at the other two coworkers and with attitude stating "you have 2 minutes to take their order". After this she proceeded to rush us to order not giving us ANY time to even look at the menu. After ordering we left at 10:01 and not even 10 minutes later they closed up and left the building. Again, it's understood nobody wants to stay past closing but being rushed and given rude vibes is not it.
