If I could leave less stars I would. I went here because my credit union is a co- op . This CU was Listed on my banking app. I have lived in Las Vegas for 5 years now and was never able to a deposit in to another co- op rather an actual branch since I moved downtown . So first I used the ATM nope I can only withdraw not deposit. So I go inside . I missed the sign on the door saying we are no longer a co-op . Get to the counter all ready to go and excited to finally make my huge cash deposit. I was treated so rudely by everyone. Then they hand me a card and say I can open an account? Yeah right!!! I said I need it sooner like today and I was told "well it's a lengthy process " ok had my hopes up only to be let down. I'm fine with being told I can't use them as a co-op but the attitudes need some serious adjustments. I'm sorry this isn't Goldman Sachs. This was one of the most disappointing days of recent. I also didn't go out of my way to find this branch it just so happened to be in the same parking lot that I went to for an urgent care visit. I was never told I'd have an additional fee for something that was taken out of my account without my permission. This isn't fair and even when I had received a letter from this credit union over a week later it had said it may or may not charge a fee so they basically contradicted themselves, because I was charged. No One from the bank didn't even reached out to me before to advise me of anything and I've been with this bank for almost 10 years and after this fee without reaching out to me before they charged me is really really messed up. The fee should be reversed. I'd rather do business elsewhere if I am treated this way. I had spoke to a supervisor Kiera and she gave me her card and she had said she would call me back later that's day or the next day and she took a couple days to respond when she had told me she would reach out to me the same day or the next day the latest and yet she didn't reach out back to me until I had called her and left her a voicemail and that was still a couple days after she said she was going to call me back. Do not, I repeat open a business account with this bank. They will hold you check for 2-10 days until it "clears" the other banking institution. Even when they receive the funds they still will hold the funds. No one can explain why when the bank receives the funds why they still wait. The excuse for them is it's a new account even though we have banked with them for 20 plus years. When confronted with that information that you are tested like a person who was never a member with the bank, just silence and then sorry you feel that way. Wonder what interest they are getting with my and other people's business funds they will not release. Considering now closing all accounts I have it one star because it made me. Negative stars for the institution. FYI, no complaints on the tellers they understood but could not do anything. It is the management and business account representatives that cannot keep their stories straight. read more

I receive emails at least twice a week hounding me to apply that I have excellent chances of getting approved for the balance transfers, so I did as I wanted to consolidate a few credit cards to only say I was declined without even speaking to me And don't say oh, some thing might've changed on my credit. No everything was the same since the day you messaged me stating I have excellent approval, odds Poor company stop emailing me and harassing me multiple times a week to apply to only say this to me cause now my credit score dropped!!!! read more

I called to find out about their benefits and what they offer just now and the customer service rep appeared to be confused for some reason and I had to repeat myself a number of times. What also gets me is that he put me on hold (hoping I would hang up) and came back with no information. I initially stated what I needed and when he repeated it back to me it was completely wrong it's like I was speaking a completely different language to him but we both speak english very well. I was so dissatisfied and disappointed I told him nevermind. I guess i wont be opening an acct there, oh well, their loss. So frustrating. read more

Charmian Hoopai, the new account representative made it so difficult to open up a simple checking account and took her forever to finish the task, we were in the computer room for 2 hours as she put us on long hold and was very unprofessional, un-friendly and disrespectful. someone needs to look-in to this, she defiantly does not like what she does and i am sure they're other people who complained about her in the past. This credit union is a great place to do business as they offer reasonable rates, but they need to work on their training and select the right people for the job, people who wants to work and stay professional unlike Charmian who does not care about the bank repetition. read more

We recently change to CCC a few months back. The staff at the Tenaya office are exceptional. The reason I gave a 3 stars is due to the fact that if your electronic SS deposits are put in on a fri, you cant access your money until that Wed. I was told that the funds are not in the account until Wed, even if the checks are deposited on fri.. I have never had this happen with any other bank we have had in the past. This means that it will take 4-5 days longer to be able to use those funds even if you have enough in your account to cover the checks. We were totally unaware of this, did not even think to ask. Also their credit card interest rate is at least 1% higher than the one we have at another bank. Bummer, because we were hoping to do a transfer. I did do a yelp review on their web page, but never heard back, which surprised me because they are very good about responding. As much as we like Clark County Credit union, not sure we would have opened new accounts there if we had know their policy on SS deposits. read more

I moved to Las Vegas a few years ago from NY and saw I needed a car. Found a car but many loans were asking for over 13-15% interest. I found Clark Count Credit Union online and qualified for 9% which was high was a lot less than the others. Now I am trying to trade in my car and Wendy has been SUCH a great help! During the HELOC application process I needed to establish a Savings account with Clark County Credit Union, I was able to complete the application online. After my application was reviewed and verified I received a call from Ekaterina Siciliano, a CCCU Customer Service Representative who assisted me through the Docusign portion of the account process and explained the documentation. Don't go to this credit union. I work in banking and had to open an account fast as I was moving into the area. How long does it take to open an account? Oh, you can do it online and only takes 2-3 days. A week later, How long does it take for you to open the account? Oh you need to come into the branch. But you told me, I could open it on line. A week and a half later...BTW we have to put a 10 day hold on your checks so basically it takes 3 weeks to open an account. Why don't you just tell me that up front and I would have never opened the account here. Now I'm looking to move the account. Thanks for NOTHING! read more

I want to spotlight a absolutely wonderful lead teller at the Tenaya Branch. Lena is her name. I was having a trying say to say the least. I was on the verge of tear from the frustration over many things. Lena certainly changed the frown around. In fact within minutes not only was I smiling but I was laughing. Even though it was hard to see on my masked face! Lena made me feel valued, important, and so much more. She never faltered, even though my transactions were a bit complicated and took longer than a normal teller window transaction would. She didn't' seem rushed or ever become impatient with me. Sometimes that can be a issue with us old folks. Lena should be awarded a 5+gold star rating and CCCU should get a pat on the back for having such a great employee. I called on Monday about a loan on a used car (looking for a good rate) and in less than a day my loan paper work was handled online with the friendly and professional assistance of Lindsey Brown. What an asset! I wish everyone I work with in business has this level of professionalism and enthusiasm! Day two, loan is approved and Lindsey is making arrangements to pick up the check at a location of my choice. I could not have asked for a smoother and easier loan application and approval! On top of that, Paige Farias of the Clark County Credit Union also gets a big shout out. She called me about setting up my required savings account, and in less than an hour, paperwork was also signed online and set up! All in all, I am thinking of moving our family checking accounts from Wells Fargo to CCCULV, simply based on the quality of service I've received with this loan process! read more

CCCU responded to my last review with a request to contact them; I did. Crickets. I also filed a BBB complaint and their response was initially that they would apply any overpayments to my principal instead of THEIR interest in the future. I wanted them to go thru my payments and apply them how I believe they should be applied. They declined. Don't do business with them. read more

This place isn't worth banking with. Weststar Credit Union is better than these guys, and they're terrible!! I started an account with this bank after moving back to Las Vegas and just trying to get re-established. After a few months of using them I became more and more dissatisfied with their services. They charge me $6 per month to maintain an account. There's no drive through at my local branch. They don't have many branches. I have to pay a $1 foreign ATM fee on top of any ATM fees. They don't have weekend hours at my branch. But the last straw was when I got two overdraft fees. The first one was indeed my fault, but I tried asking for some leniency for the second one. My story wasn't heard, or even asked about. I was immediately told "No" after calling me back the next day. This is despite having a pending deposit 18 times larger than the payment I needed to pay, and also coming in the previous day to deposit what would have been enough to cover the remainder of the charge that had already happened. I work nights, so it makes it difficult for me to meet their hours. Instead, I'm going to bank with Ally. They don't have overdraft fees. They have 24 hour banking. They pay interest for having an account, and no account fees. There's no ATM fees, they just reimburse you up to $10 per ATM fee. Goodbye Clark County Credit Union!! You guys are terrible! read more
