I have used dollar loan center twice now. Every time they have been professional and helpful. The rate is cheaper than other places which makes it nice. I will always use them when I need money. This is an EXPENSIVE form of borrowing, if people are not aware of that then they may get upset, but regarding the rest of the loan places, this by far is the better rate and loan terms. Claudia, helped me on Tuesday and Wednesday, we got everything started on Tuesday and I even showed up close to closing time and she was still very nice and professional never rushing me and I really appreciated it very much. I had called to ask what credit bureau dollar loan center checks so I didn't have to unfreeze all three of them, and Veronica told me and helped me get my loan started so I would be prepared when I came in. When I did come in, Claudia processed my loan and was very nice to deal with. She, like Tony in my last review, informed me of the (bogus) charge that was sent to collections, which is (still) on my credit report (damn you, scammy Cox!). Don't be broke is right! I normally always am BUT thank you sweet, hard working Mary Magdalene that I've found Dollar Loan Center. Now whenever I find myself short of a sandwich and in a big pickle I ask Siri, "Call DLC". This time around I had the pleasure of talking with Dennis. He was extremely informative, friendly, easy to understand and calm. I applied last night and they got back to me right away the following morning, and in less than a couple hours I was back to filling the Honda with premium. Second time getting a loan with Dollar Loan Center I do not like the service. The first time I had a wonderful experience so I was more then happy to return for the second time. This time just trying to payoff the loan it's seems more difficult then the first time. I do understand being very cautious but come on now. I work 2 jobs and I am a mother of 4. So I really do not have a lot of time on my hands. I am always rushing and not all the time I will have my ID on me. So they said it is policy that they need an ID to PAY. Come on now I have to prove who I am to pay a loan. I am not taking out a loan I am only trying to pay it off. If that is a policy then I will not be going back. It just makes it to hard to make my payment. read more

I've borrowed from the Dollar Loan Center on Sahara and Fort Apache about three times in the last six months. At first, I was apprehensive, wondering how are these guys gonna screw me. But surprise, surprise it was a really uplifting experience. The young women that took care of me, Claudia and Veronica, were so pleasant, friendly, and professional that after I got my money, I didn't want to leave. These girls are so good, that I went in to pay off my loan and I borrowed $500 more even tho I didn't need it. Lovely ladies that laugh easily and give me money. Six stars! read more

Just wish they would be honest with what they told me on the phone. I asked multiple times a question about their loans because I wanted to see if it was worth even going in to apply. At first she did tell me they only go off your last paycheck so when I said okay it's not worth coming in she then said well we go off your last 3 paychecks so I came in. I spoke to a man behind the counter told him what I was told and he said no we only go off your last paycheck I said that's not what I was told and he said yes you were I was standing right next to her when she told you. LIE! When I told him that is not what she said he continued to lie! Why would I make this up? Just use caution when dealing with a company like this. read more

Manager is very rude and unprofessional, Her name is MELE. I had a horrible experience, I spoke with her on phone and asked her requirements and from what she said I brought everything , I spent 40 minutes there and she asked about my social security, I drove home 20 minutes to get my social and as soon as I stepped in , she told me that I can't get approval ! Don't waste your time there is more places better then this , I went to rapid cash and in 10 minutes I was out with my money ! This is not an advertisement for rapid cash but it's a lesson of being good at customer service ! Leticia and Nancy are not very upfront and honest. They informed me that by paying off my full balance, I would write compliance and have the negative report removed from my credit. Unprofessional management. I have been doing business with this company for over a decade and have never been upset with any of it's associates... until now. I was told they had a new policy with late payments. The other Dollar Loan store I visited said there haven't been any changes. Notified associate of a making a late payment so I wouldn't be interrupted with phone calls since I work graveyard and have to sleep during the day like I've done several times before with other locations. However, this location still called the next day... and the next day... Too bad there isn't an option to give this location zero stars! read more

I had an excellent experience getting a loan over the phone. Liliana was so patient and helpful as I downloaded my documents. She walked me through signing everything online and she always checked to make sure that I was getting everything ok. I highly recommend this location and Dollar Loan Center in general.
