What I forgot to mention last time, but it was true then and it is now, is honesty. Ronnie explained the problems clearly, and I am reasonably technical and handy, so I know they were accurate. He explained what the cost would be depending on which problem it turned out to be. After testing and completing the first repair, everything was working properly. This saved me $350 + tax over the cost of what would have been step 2. My experience with the home repair industry in general is that many businesses will opt for the highest possible repair cost option as a first step. Unrelated to this business and its service, the worst case in my recent experience was a quote for $4,500 for a plumbing job that I ultimately had done for $450. Sorry I can't refer to that business by name because of possible retaliation or charges of defamation, etc. I only review positive service. Negative service reviews have to remain word-of-mouth, so you won't see any from me online. Earlier review for repair of my AC system: Professional, courteous, friendly and efficient. Ronnie returned my call within 15 minutes and arrived within 2 hours as expected. The work was done quickly and effectively. I've been watching as a crane took what I assume is an HVAC unit up to the top of a building, and swapped out the old one. First of all, the crane operation was spectacular to watch, but that's not why I'm writing (I assume that's a subcontractor anyway). I'm writing because, where it's a nice day, I've had my window open, and therefore was listening as the two Phil's employees (hell, maybe one of them is Phil?) engaged with people parking their cars and needing to move for alternate-side-parking today. The two of them were so kind and professional asking people gently to move, guiding cars, figuring out where the best place to go was for each car to facilitate both their parking and the crane's. I don't know, there's just something about these two that really touched me - the way they do their job effectively and kindly at the same time. We are lacking in kindness right now in the US. I just thought I'd put this into the ether, and if I ever need plumbing/AC work done at my condo, it'll be the first company I call!!

He then just went straight to filling my unit with Freon which he said I needed 3 pounds of and only spent about 5 minutes filling it up which I think was way too fast to fill up 3 pounds. That makes me think I either didn't need that much or he didn't fill it up enough and charged me for it. I will not be using this company again.
