He doesn't place his tint all the way to the edge of the glass like other professional tint shop do. The gap around the edge of the glass are inconsistent in every window. It been 4 months and there still tiny dried up air pockets in every windows. He use a plotter to cut out his pattern so there no real skills involved there. His price is not cheap it is the same or more than the other tint shop nearby. I went to this shop become it was the first available appointment. I should have know better. He offer lifetime warranty on the tint but I don't think he will be in business for long if he keep redoing his sloppy work I will have to paid a professional tint shop to redo his sloppy work. I purchased aftermarket lights front and back and he was able to install them easily. A complicated job considering how difficult it is just to get the headlights out. Additionally the rear lights needed some wiring. After discussing what I wanted my stereo system to do we came up with a system that plugs into my factory harness and allows me to upgrade the head unit at any time. It is apparent to me that this company either doesn't have access to diagrams explaining how the panels are removed from different makes of vehicles, or they just don't care about breaking parts off of your car doing the job, because not one word was said about it when I went to pick up the car. I had to discover it myself. There is only one plastic hook that wasn't broken out of 6 fasteners that hold the piece on. This is an $79.00 part at the dealer. No one should have to pay to replace parts on their car due to incompetent work.

So when we lived away from Springfield, I lost my go to at Car Fi (check them out if you're down around there!) and started to check closer to the MO/KAN border for tinting help. I was so lucky to fall upon Creative- another Springfield brand- to help me get an awesome blockage from the sun and weird other drivers! They're open on Saturday's and I made an appointment a few weeks in advance. I dropped my car off and the very nice staff told me they'd take me somewhere close to chill if i wanted whilst I wait. I decided to take an Uber to the casino, because, why not, and when I returned I was VERY please with the result! It's been almost a month and the windows have cured perfectly. This could be because the demand for such items isn't what it used to be. I do miss the day when Radio shack used to have more shortwave and multi band radios and things for the radio geek.
