Joanna is AMAZING!!! My dress had a complicated bustle, but she did amazing. She also worked with me to make my sleeves removable so I could remove them at the reception. I literally can't complain about anything.

Joanna is the best!!! I came to her with the worlds most difficult wedding dress to be altered and she absolutely killed it and did a more than amazing job. She is so amazingly talented and paid attention to the smallest details to make sure the dress came out perfectly. My dress must have weighed at least 20 lbs so when it came to creating a bustle it was not the easiest. Joanna worked her magic and was able to design a bustle that kept my long train off the floor all night long and looked amazing.

Joanne helped me alter my bridesmaid dress in little time! It turned out awesome! She is very professional and straight to the point! Very easy to work with!

Before: strapped and 3 times my size. After: strapless and perfectly fitting.

I bought a wedding gown 3 times my size and I also needed a big alteration in the back, since I wanted it to be strapless. So she had to do a lot of alterations. To be honest I was kinda nervous, because the front seemed way to big for me. And we didn't have much time until the wedding. But Joanna said she would work overnight if needed. So she ended up finishing the dress earlier, and I went for my last fitting 1 week and a half before the wedding and the dress was just PERFECT! She is amazing, she changed the whole design of my dress and she seemed so confident doing it. At the same time she's very calm and listened to what I wanted. I got so many compliments, everyone said I looked like a mermaid. I can't thank her enough for such great job. I definitely recommend her service to any bride who's afraid to trust their special dress to someone they don't know.

Bridal gown - Alterations by Joanna at Creative Bridewear

Joanna at Creative Bridewear made the alterations for the dresses for my daughter's wedding. We were thrilled with the work she did. Especially, since she noticed adjustments that needed to be made on my daughter's wedding dress that I didn't even notice. Joanna provided alterations for 4 gowns in total and the cost was very reasonable. Her attention to detail was truly appreciated. My daughter was concerned about how her bridal gown would look when bustled. There was quite a bit of material that made up the train. Joanna showed us various bustle styles and helped us pick one that was perfect for the dress. Thank you Joanna for helping to make my daughter's wedding day perfect!

However, I cannot even describe how TERRIBLE my experience with Schweon's was. Alan, the owner, has the largest ego I've ever seen in a man, like...ever. "I've been in this business for 43 years, I know what I'm doing." Woah! Congratulations, man! Good for you! But when you belittle me for how I want MY own tuxedo to fit for MY wedding, you clearly shouldn't be in this business. If you don't want to meet the customer where his vision lies and treat me like CRAP, then don't sell to customers! Make suits for yourself! At least that'll save others from dealing with the egotistical, arrogant, and outright RUDE employees that work here. I also don't want to make this a race thing, but let's just say, I haven't seen him (or his other employees) treat his white customers this way. Alan, if you're reading this, no one gives a crap how long you've been doing this. No one. If you treat your customers like how you treated me, you've been an awful businessman for 43 years, or whatever number you were blabbering about. Time to retire and reflect on your ego! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not sure why they have all these great reviews; it's probably all their family friends and Caucasian customers. They deserve 0 stars for how they treated me.

As a dad, the excitement to see another daughter find the perfect dress was paramount in our search. The first day of looing took us to two bridal shops. The first, was very nice, with extravagant gowns (and extravagant prices as I am paying for the dress). However, despite the variety of styles, none of the gowns made my daughter, a nurse, feel like the bride she dreamed of being nor the I one I imagined her getting married in. So, while there was one 'maybe' dress we left for our second appointment. As I was leaving the first shop, I was literally cornered by the owner as to why my daughter was not buying the one she "liked". I was a bit taken aback, and answered that it was because she did not "love" it. Feeling kind of annoyed, we headed to Darianna's where we were met with kind hello's and seated in a large room as Wendy began choosing dresses for my daughter to try on. She even let me add my pick to the selection and that made me happy. My daughter then began to try on each dress and on the last one she burst into tears, as did the rest of us, as she said those famous words "this is my dress". It is stunning and. I might add, it was the one I PICKED. So now with the gown, the crystal beaded veil and tiara, I was awestruck at how beautiful my little girl (25 yo) looked and how happy she was. Wendy then provided champagne to celebrate and broke the news of the total price, which was well within my budget. I can not say enough of how kind and patient Wendy and the entire staff were to my family. Wendy took her time and most of all did not try to force me to purchase the gown immediately. Although I placed a deposit, I was never under any pressure to do so. That fact, to me, is important, because I believe that to pressure a bride or her family into a dress she may not want can only add frustration to what is supposed to be one of the happiest days, thus far, of her life. Lastly, I was so impressed with Wendy I called the next day to thank her for such a pleasant experience. I am extremely detailed oriented, as is my daughter, and this Bridal Shop hit the mark on every level of product to service. Thank you to everyone at Darianna's for such a wonderful experience.

Here's what BS has wrong: management and customer service. And these are big when the price tags are equivalent to high end department stores where you can also find the same amenities. BS also has an extreme ALL SALES FINAL return policy. Much like other reviewers, I had a dress special ordered for my son's wedding. I had three fitting appointments. At each store visit, my salesperson, Rocky, styled me with sportswear for the wedding weekend and beyond. By my last appointment, I had spent almost triple the price of my MOG gown, but I was pleased to have supported a female-owned small business, and I told the owner, Sara, exactly that. . When I left the store my MOG gown fit perfectly. Rocky and Sara packed it for me, and I was assured they had sold lots of dresses by this manufacturer, and the dress would travel well. That was not the case. Getting dressed for the wedding I discovered the length of the gown had "grown" approximately three inches. I walked my son down the aisle with the skirt portion hiked up under my armpits. As the day progressed, so did the length. Instead of the flowy, sequin top I dreamed of, rolls of fabric are apparent in every picture, as I hiked the skirt higher. I made a follow-up appointment at BS. No one argued that the dress had "grown." Sara immediately told me she wasn't giving me a refund. I asked her to contact the manufacturer on my behalf. She refused, arguing that the material was not defective and insinuating I had worn different shoes or undergarments. Rocky was sympathetic. The seamstress made no comment on the material but pinned the skirt to be re-hemmed. Of course this wasn't BS's fault. Nor can they give me a redo on my son's wedding. But a little compassion and customer appreciation would've gone a long way. Yesterday, I picked the dress up for the last time. Sara saw me but said nothing. I left, then decided to come back in and talk to her, which I did quietly, in the back of the store, away from other employees and customers. I wanted to give her the chance to do the right thing - something, anything to keep me as a customer. I said I wouldn't be returning. Her response was a blasé "okay." When I asked her if she knew why, her comments were shockingly accusatory, and she asked me to leave the store and not return. The entire exchange happened in less than a minute. Management's unwillingness to take any responsibility and heartless lack of empathy prompted me to write my first YELP review. Buyer beware.

They are only nice when you are buying until you have a problem. They did not fix my dress properly & would not want to give me the right amount back for their mistake. I was miserable wearing the gown for my granddaughter's affair this past June 2026. Sara & Lyla are both inconsiderate & disrespectful & Sara was harassing me on the phone. The experience has been a total nightmare and we will likely have to pivot and find another company to go with. We stopped into the Willow Grove location last month to set up an account with suit separates for the groomsmen. Two groomsmen are located in FL but both have Men's Wearhouse near them. It was quite busy the day we stopped in, but the manager on duty eventually assisted us. Her name was Thereza. Thereza created our account and scanned each item (jacket, shirt, vest and pants) so that the guys knew exactly what they would be wearing. She incorrectly entered my fiancé's email address and therefore he was not getting any emails with updates. She also misspelled one of the groomsman's names. None of this information was verified prior to submission. This could have been avoided. She only provided a slip with our group number and sent us on our way. To make matters worse, one of the groomsman went to a location near him to get measured and the associate claimed nothing was in the system. They didn't know which suit style or color because the profile Thereza created was allegedly blank. We called the Willow Grove store to complain and they refused to give us the name of the district manager. We were also told Men's Wearhouse no longer does alterations on pants, which is pretty silly. The service here is embarrassing and I hate to say this, but I don't think we will ever come back.
