I would not recommend Men's Wearhouse to anyone looking to purchase suits for groomsmen in their wedding. The experience has been a total nightmare and we will likely have to pivot and find another company to go with. We stopped into the Willow Grove location last month to set up an account with suit separates for the groomsmen. Two groomsmen are located in FL but both have Men's Wearhouse near them. It was quite busy the day we stopped in, but the manager on duty eventually assisted us. Her name was Thereza. Thereza created our account and scanned each item (jacket, shirt, vest and pants) so that the guys knew exactly what they would be wearing. She incorrectly entered my fiancé's email address and therefore he was not getting any emails with updates. She also misspelled one of the groomsman's names. None of this information was verified prior to submission. This could have been avoided. She only provided a slip with our group number and sent us on our way. To make matters worse, one of the groomsman went to a location near him to get measured and the associate claimed nothing was in the system. They didn't know which suit style or color because the profile Thereza created was allegedly blank. We called the Willow Grove store to complain and they refused to give us the name of the district manager. We were also told Men's Wearhouse no longer does alterations on pants, which is pretty silly. The service here is embarrassing and I hate to say this, but I don't think we will ever come back. read more

There is a gentleman name, Cole who help my fiancé and I so much with tuxedo rental - we arrived there around 7:30pm on a Saturday, he really took his time helping us selecting the tux. There were so many selections, we had hard time picking styles but Cole got us through! Men's wearhouse also have rental group package, it's reasonably priced. And for purchasing suits, ask for John! They know you can't find new suits last minute so they could care less if they miss your date they act like it matters or that they'll actually do your job once you put down a deposit they could care less they're job is done and if they ruin your special event who cares. Cole helped us with picking out my fiance's suit for our wedding, as well as what the groomsmen will wear. He gave advice on what colors/dress shoes would look best, and even helped coordinate the colors of my bridesmaids. (I didn't realize that Men's Warehouse and David's Bridal coordinate with one another!) Cole also measured my fiancé right then and there so he would have his measurements. It was starting to get a little crowded towards the end, and they were short staffed, so he once in a while went to help people for a bit and then come back to us; but that was totally fine! Every time I've come here, I've had a poor experience. While MW's merchandise is for the most part very good quality, the staff at this location are always unfriendly and very miserable men. It's always a hassle and a hard-sell! On my last visit, I was quoted one price by the sales rep and another at the register... AFTER the fitting... for $75 more. You'd think they'd at least apologize for their mistake, but no such luck. Stick with buying shirts on sale here, don't get sucked into the upsell ('perma-crease', ties, accessories, etc.), and you'll do fine. read more

I definitely would not recommend going to this location. They ordered the wrong size pants for my boyfriend and he had his first fitting and told them what size to order. What is the point of getting fitted if they are going to order the wrong size?!?! Also, tried giving him the jacket with a button hanging on by a thread...not the best look. We were told to wait 5-10 minutes for the button to be sewed on & then 15 minutes later we were told to wait another 10 minutes so we left. Keeping our fingers crossed we receive it in time for the wedding considering one employee told us the "new" pants would be ready by Tuesday and another told us Wednesday. My husband got great service at the Willow Grove Men's Wearhouse and two perfect suits for his hard-to-fit self for what was a fair price, but which became an even better price. I realized when I got home that I had an e-mailed coupon for $100 off of $500 that I had forgotten about. Fitting for a tux went well. When I picked it up, it was like the tux was for someone else. I was embarrassed just trying it on. Salesmen didn't seem to understand the bad fit but agreed to reorder for pick up on the morning of the wedding. I cancelled the order and went to Gallelli in Philadelphia for a great fit and great customer service. Men's Wearhouse is also unnecessarily expensive. Incompetent, lazy, unprofessional...the last three tuxes a rented all had issues from improper measurements, broken buttons and so on..it seems like no one working here wants anything to do with customers and God forbid you need an alteration because they will think of any excuse to avoid actually assisting you. The staff demonstrated the kind of friendliness and willingness to accommodate our intolerance for clothes shopping with admirable aplomb. We wanted to get out a soon as possible and we did. It took just over an hour to pick and fit two suits, choose shirt, tie, and shoes for my nephew, and to check out. The price ended up lower than I expected, plus they will send money back next month. I have always had a positive experience while shopping with MW, I am even more pleased with the help I received at the Willow Grove location. Unlike another review, I have only encountered a staff of genuine, courteous, respectful, and friendly people. The staff alone is enough reason for me to come back. I appreciate the help they have given me, and look forward to working with them in the future. For those who find some of their wears are too expensive, they do offer a wide selection of items to fit almost anyones budget. They also offer a rewards program, daily coupons, and a 5% discount if you have a credit card with them. read more

We rented 7 tuxedos for my son's wedding. The price was very high, the quality of tuxedo was poor, and the service was very poor. Several of us rented them at a location near home, and were assured they would be available for pick up at a location near the wedding. They were not. So, we had to rush 25 miles from the wedding location to retrieve the tuxedos. I have my own tuxedo, however wanted to match the others so I rented one. The quality of garment is very poor. The total price, with shoes and mandatory damage insurance was $261.13 ($241 +$20 deposit). $261 for a tux rental!!! that's a lot. Then, when my son returned them on Monday, he was shown the fine print that said they were due on Sunday and he owed $20 per tux late fee. We will never visit a men's wearhouse again, nor will we ever recommend them. read more

Went to rent a suite for my grandson prom. well it was a mess.went to pick it up 2 days be for the prom wrong color pants reorder and still wrong color came in the day before the prom. Was told they would have them first thing in the morning.never did by 4:00 pm they wanted him to meet him at him prom and get dressed there then they wanted him to come back in on the store to get dressed. Finely at 4:40pm they got the pants to my home stating they were sorry put the suite on the pants were to tight, the jacket was a most to his knees sleeves cover part of his hands. Worst experience ever, went back in November to order tuxes for my brothers wedding on saint Patrick's day. Went two weeks before like we were told to double check the sizing , none of the sizes were right , they reordered the tuxes they came in wrong again they reordered again. They told us they would be in Tuesday, never showed , then told Wednesday which they never showed , then told Thursday never showed had to leave our rehearsal hours early to go get tuxes that never matched so we would at least have something. Got tuxes that never matched went to the wedding Friday hour before wedding they call and say stuff started to show. Lil to late if u ask me. Called store several times got hung up on several times and treated with ignorance and disrespect. Called customer service promised refunds go to store they wouldn't honor them , one week later finally got in touch with the regional and district manager to explain how terrible of a experience we had and how ignorant the employees were. Renter Beware! BAIT AND SWITCH!! We took our 11 year old son in to get fitted for a rental suit and was quoted $60 (basic suit, we didn't need shoes or accessories). When the suit arrived, we came in to check the size and pick it up. The pants were way too large and same with the shirt. The shirt was a large and they got another large from the back and that one fit. They seemed confused that two large shirts fit him differently. The one from the rental was too big, the other fit just right. So, now we need to come back for the third time after they make additional adjustments. We come back and give them the receipt to get the suit, everything fit just fine and the woman we were dealing with quoted us $200! We were like "whoa, whoa, the receipt shows we put $20 down and owe a balance of $40, where do you get $200 from?" She asked to see the receipt and we gave it to the salesmen who helped us previously and he conveniently lost our receipt! Their excuse for the price hike was that the salesman accidentally ordered the suit from the adult catalog, not the kids catalog. We were like, let me get this straight, you guys screwed up and the customer has to pay more than 3 times the price agreed upon?!?! With the wedding in 2 days? The woman says, "ok, ok, I'll work with you, you can have it for just a little bit more than the $60. We asked how much, she did some calculations and came up with $90. We said no way. We will either pay the agreed upon $60 or you can return our $20 and we'll take our business elswhere. She eventually gave in and rented the suit at the originally agreed upon price and only when my wife was getting loud and attracting attention from other potential customers. By reading some of these other reviews, it seems Bait and Switch, Hard Sells and Up Sells are standard practices. Shady! read more
