We feel fortunate to have a place to bring our kids where they are safe and have fun. Teachers come and go, which can be frustrating, but it is somewhat expected in this industry, and we have always felt that the various teachers truly cared about our children. There was a period of high turnover where the director and assistant director left that we considered going elsewhere, but by the time we could get in anywhere, things settled down and the school got a new director. Since Jason has been at the helm, the school has never looked better and we have seen lots of improvements. We feel confident about the school under his leadership. The only other drawback about this school is the co$$$t, but it sure is nice not to have to pack a lunch or snacks which are included. I am always impressed with the arts and crafts done in the toddler rooms and also appreciate how often the children get out in the fresh air when possible. I have hundreds of adorable pics I have gotten in daily updates through the years but there were very few I could share while being mindful of privacy.

Revised review as of 8/23/2024: We were heartbroken after…read morelearning the truth about what was happening at this daycare behind the scenes; children being verbally and emotionally scared into cooperating, instances not being reported to parents (even when it was a medical/safety issue), teachers who have little to no training, and teachers told to feed children food that is moldy or undercooked. The only solice we had after learning what was really going on at the daycare was our child being in Miss Alicia's classroom. Miss Alicia and Miss Michelle genuinely care about the kids in their room, provide structure and safety (yes safety) for their kiddos and any additional ones they can take in their room when able to. Knowing that the Regional Director was well informed about what was and had happened at this location and felt it was okay and appropriate to argue with parents and teachers about what was happening at the school has made us lose faith with all Cadence schools.

This is a family run camp with a significant number of repeat staff and campers. The 2-week sessions give the campers a chance to become comfortable and competent. Many campers attend multiple sessions & I believe this is because the staff truly enjoys their work and the campers. It is such an awesome place, if only I was young again....

This makes her an exceptional art instructor and you can see it in the work of her students! My daughter just started taking lessons from Ms. Venditto and I can already see a HUGE improvement in her techniques. There's a showcase at the end of the winter sessions (8 weeks total, 2 hours a week), but was able to take a sneak peak. I got the chance to introduce myself to the teacher today and talk to her a bit. She's warm, welcoming, and very easy to talk to. I also love the high level of professionalism of her business--very important to me. Online registration and payment are available online and confirmation is sent via email, which makes enrollment very convenient. FYI, she's currently a high school teacher in a different town and has to commute. Gotta admire her dedication! Luckily, we live close by. Never once was I unhappy about being dropped off here to enjoy the splendors that is Ramsbottom. Early mornings are spent sitting in tribes and villages (according to age) while staff takes attendance for the day. Here, daily activities are reviewed for each activity and contests are competed in for points tallied weekly to distribute pizza parties. From here children ages 9+ (correct me if i'm wrong) are able to walk freely around the camp visiting its various areas, while younger children are lead around in groups. A Pool, Indian Lore, Pioneering (ropes courses, etc), Arts n' Crafts, Theater, Nature, Archery, Cooking, Rocketry, Fishing, Sports, Riflery, Mini Golf, Petting Zoo. . . .to name a few. . . are the activities provided at the camp. Awards are given out in a ceremony each Friday in regards to contests throughout the week or particularly outstanding campers for each activity. Groups meet for lunch in the middle of the day (meals provided if indicated) where attendance is taken again. One thing this camp is good at is not losing or endangering children. Attendance is taken 3 times throughout the day . . .some activities have age limits and training requirements before participation is allowed (such as archery and riflery). Staff is extremely friendly and outgoing, activities never boring, safety-oriented, nature-friendly. Great experience for any child. . . and even staff!!!

This is the best camp I have ever been at. The counselors are very nice and polite. And on my first…read moreday of camp, I was very shy and nervous. But then my counselor was polite and I got less shy with him. The activities there are very fun like you get to go in the lake, they have a basketball court soccer field, football field and a baseball area. And a lot more. I started going here in 2019 and kept going and now it is 2022 and close to summer of 2023. And I am 100% going there for my fifth year. If you have never gone here you should definitely come here.
