The mold they sent me was more than an inch smaller than what I ordered. On the email invoice they added a comment "Item: Round Slumper 12.75 x 1.75 in Warning sizes are now coming smaller than advertised due to new clay shrinkage." This is full BS! The piece is already fired and they were aware of their error and shipped it anyway. They have also removed the item from their website. It's a large mold so will cost me to ship it back with no guarantee I'll ever get my money back. I've been trying to reach them for over a week now and their answering machine is full. The emails come back saying: "Jessie will be out of the office for a week. Please place an order online and choose your preferred shipping option, or curbside pickup." It's been well over a week. I'll update this review if they make this right, but until they do, everyone is going to hear about my bad experience and wasted $95. read more

This business got me through the pandemic. Turning their business around in a small amount of time, they made it possible for me to continue with the only thing that would keep me sane. Wish they were open more hours, but I'm able to work around, since customer service is to spot on. Pull the car up: drop off my firing boxes or pick up finished ware in the parking lot. Online orders are ready within 24 hours. Now that should work for everyone that's local. Happy they're in my area. Firing services have been great and reliable; fully trust the attention to firing protocols. No complaints - just Kudos. read more

They generally could careless if you buy from them. Unfortunately, they are often out of clay supply stock. Their prices are higher than Claypeople in Richmond and they are WAY LESS friendly. Their hours fluctuate so you don't know if they will be open. I buy lots of clay supplies and I am done with them and their rudeness. read more

Ordered a 22x22 kiln shelf online. I prepped with thinfire and laid out an 18x18 glass piece and fired to 1525 with a 20 min. hold. The piece came out bowed. When I checked the shelf it had a 1/8 in bow. When i called to complain I was told the shelves were not totally flat and really were for ceramic use. As if you don't need totally flat for ceramics! When I asked how a customer was to know that there was no response. I was then told to return the shelf for a refund at my cost. Let me get this right. A Ceramic and Glass supply house advertises kiln shelves with no disclaimer as to their flatness for glass use. When they sell you a flawed product, they expect you to pay to ship it back. So I get my full refund but I'm out shipping costs (35.00). Great customer service. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! read more

I really wanted to do business locally. I went to their location today because Google said they were open. Strike 1) They were not. Called the numer on the sign and they will not be open until after new year Strike 2) Update your Google listing When I talked to the gentleman, he was pleasant but said there was no way to "shop" for a gift for my wife's birthday on Wednesday at the store. He said to go to the website. I went home and went on the website Strike 3) The website was absolutely impossible to use. Whoever set that up, did it decades ago and did not understand how a shopper would navigate it. I called the gentleman back and tried to ask him where on the website the products I was looking for were to be found. Strike 4) He didn't even know if they were up there and offered no help to find them. I then asked him about the products I was interested in and he rattled off product names and prices. No suggestions as to how to see them. I felt like it was a burden for him to talk to me. Strike 5) If I was going to buy something from him, would this be the kind of support I would get? I bailed and just ordered them from Amazon. Really sorry I could not do business with these guys. read more

This store has everything in ceramics you could need! Mike is so helpful with any questions I ever have. There is such a great selection. I love this place and the staff, BUT I thought I'd try the glass class they offer and it was absolutely HORRIBLE. The instructor, Libby, doesn't teach you anything! I suppose the other people in the class with me already knew what do to, but she just expected me to learn on my first night and there was no instruction! The staff looked high and low for something I need (a piggy-bank stopper), but in a weird size. They spent a good 15 minutes looking, then took my name and number so they could continue looking and call me when they found it. Awesome customer service for a $.75 part. I can't imagine I'll need anything else from here, I don't do glass work or ceramics, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in. read more

This is a wonderful store. They have everything. Books glazes kilns. I ask them dumb questions and they are very patient. They don't burdon in the beginner with stuff they don't need, or need to know. I wish they were open on Sundays. They have a kiln in case you don't have your own. read more

You need more feedback.... I have been shopping here for over twelve years and I absolutely loooove your store! I work during the day and have been able to utilize your phone order and locked gate delivery system for the last six or eight. Your accessibility for us bizzy bizzy people is wonderful!! I LOVE your sales! Can't get enough of the 50% Off!!!! I get my sheets of glass, shelf primer, bulk stringers & frit during these sales .... soooo cost effective!! Sure, I am elbow to elbow with insane sale shoppers vying for what I want, but it is still so much more organized than the insanity of a department store sale with clothing on the floor and people fighting for the last shirt!!! It can always get ordered, or better yet--there is another sale down the road. Yes, I shop there outside of the sales. I purchase for stained glass and fused glass creations. This IS the place to go for any clay or glass projects. I can not say enough to promote you guys!! read more

This place is amazing for glass fusing supplies. The stock is AMAZING, the prices are reasonable and the employees are a wealth of knowledge. They value their customers and will bend over backwards to answer even the most inane questions from beginners to pros. Don't bother with the Sebastpol suppliers, where you are treated as an intrusion on their time. The only drawback for me is no weekend hours. Love you guys!!!! read more
