I feel I got scammed out of $65000.00 we paid for this company to obtain permits and install an off grid field. We worked with them for over a year. they said they bought all the equipment and were waiting on for the county to give us our permit. we ended up going with a different company because it was taking so long and CE would not reimburse us for the equipment we bought or give us said equipment. very disappointed. read more

I initially worked with Justin to transfer my system from my original service provider (Synergy Power) after their assets were sold and the new company would not service our system (ARGH!!!). Justin was great to work with while we investigated communication issues, which were quickly diagnosed and resolved through his guidance. Afterwards, I worked with Con to coordinate the removal and re-installation of one of our panels so some repairs could be made to our home in the area near the panel. Con was also great as we coordinated around three different contractor schedules to get the home repairs completed and the panel re-installed. My system was installed by another company who subsequently went out of business. When my panels stopped working, I didn't know how to get them back online and generating power. Creative Energies is one of a very few companies willing to help customers like me with what the industry calls "orphan systems". Before sending a technician to come out to my home, Justin did some troubleshooting remotely. He then called me and, over the phone, walked me through identifying where the problem was and assisted me step by step in resolving it. I have been very happy with Creative Energies. I've always had a direct contact with several people at the company and can rely on them to respond promptly. For example, I had an old 3G wireless device installed to monitor the panels on my roof, but the device went bad. So I just reached out, they set up an appointment time with a replacement device, a guy came out and installed it according to the schedule, I got an email confirmation about it, the app started working again, and all was well! read more

That's for sure. We're delighted with Creative Energies. They're honest and efficient. Their bid came promptly. And we were even advised on several ways to approach rebates and tax credits. We were also advised NOT to install new solar panels without getting a new roof. Imagine! Clearly CE has enough customers and takes the time to serve each one of us well. We'll write again after installation. Which, by the way, won't be until next spring because of CE's schedule. If you want solar panels, get on their schedule. The Republicans will phase out the rebates beginning in 2000. read more

I had probably called 20 locations from electrical to hardware or energy looking for a connector for my solar panel (100 watt) to my charge controller (an MC4 connector) -- when I called Creative Energies in Salt Lake City not only did they sell me the connector they pointed out I needed a particular tool to install it (instead of just crimping). I did not have said tool so they said I could just bring my charge controller in and they would put the connector on for me. This they did, and they did not even charge me for the installation. Plus, they were no pressure and no hassle. I mentioned that I was also working on a home wind generator (I am an instructor in Technology Management at Utah Valley University so need to learn these things as alternative energy is becoming increasingly relevant) and they also have experience with those. I was so pleased with their helpfulness, kindness, and professionalism that I asked for a brochure and am now considering going to a whole new level of clean/renewable energy using their services for my home. read more
