I went to have my nails done for my birthday. They recommended appointment. I have a guy he was nice barely talked . I wanted a mani pedicure so they started with my fingers clipped my nails I said that was good but he ended up clipping them so close to my skin there was no nails . At that point I just wanted a color change on my toes they filed them never cleaned it with an alcohol pad left them dusty . I was not thrilled for the price it ended up to 61. And change before tip . They were very busy I may try one more time . It was very clean and the massage was pretty intense. Give it a try but price kept changing. Thanks Christ M read more

I have been coming here regularly for years since they opened. Past few trips it doesn't seem as clean, staff are not as personable. Mood is low. Today my daughter & i had appointments for pedicures. I was serviced by a gentleman who i have never seen before. Possibly he is new. He clearly wanted to get my service completed as soon as possible. Applied extremely hot towel wraps without inquiring about temperature & didn't check water temperature when I put my feet in . I ask him if he could put some warm water in there (as it was very cold) and he seemed annoyed. Very rushed --clumsy with cutting & filing. Nails cut jagged & not filed properly. Was not gentle at all. I asked for a spa pedicure, which includes a 10 minute massage & he gave me a total of six minutes. He set a timer for 10 minutes but instead walked away & was fetching other things before the timer went off. I chose red polish & left with some still on my skin. Really disappointed. Definitely would not have him provide any service. Not sure i will even go back. read more

Yesterday was my first time with this new business. I was a customer of the nail salon prior to this business And because of the location, I'm really glad I finally tried them out. A very clean and bright atmosphere. Comfortable chair for my pedicure. I arrived at 10:20 a.m. and my appointment was at 10:30, I was seated by 10:25 - which I appreciate. I would highly suggest you make an appointment versus walking in. There may be a day of the week where they are slower and can take walk-ins, but that was not the case yesterday. Their prices are comparable. I got the milk and honey spa pedicure for $55 and I tipped $10, overall it took about an hour. My calves today are so smooth and soft from the product they used, I'm super happy. Elly was great and I believe she is the one that speaks the most English, which helped in my choice to keep her as my person. At the end instead of going underneath a drying lamp for my toes, they put on two hot steamers, which aimed at my toes and calves while Kathy gave me a 10-minute massage / hot stones to finish the pedicure. Perfect!! They are open 7 days a week and they are right on Saybrook Road in the Tradewinds shopping center in Middletown. Lastly, they do have a rewards program/card you will receive at the end when you pay. You will receive 5% back if you pay cash and 2% back if you pay with credit card. Once you accrue $10 or more you can spend it any way you like in the salon. I've been here twice so far and both times have had the very best manicure and/or pedicure ever, beyond anywhere else in town or elsewhere. This is the most undiscovered gem around and I just can't gatekeep how amazing these guys are. My 100++ highest grade is because they do the utmost to fully take care of my nail health: they don't overfile a previous gel polish off to the point of making my nails weak, and have been so thoughtful about my appointments based on the condition of the nails they were working on. And as far as end results, my gel manicure lasts WEEKS longer with them than it does elsewhere, even places that everyone else has said is the best in town. In my opinion those "best" are less attuned to skill and craft than they used to be. read more

Update, not one person says let me fix this issue. Terrible for management and or owners. Had to get nail redone and the nail Solon said they didn't know what they did not one nail is same as others. Every nail is a different length. So after paying 65 pls tip I had to have them redone same day later and cost me another 90 dollars plus tip. SMH. Just went first time there I got a fill of gel nails and two nails fixed and absolutely worst place I've ever been. The guy asked me. Do you want to shorten your nails? I said yes I had to have them shorten them four different other times cause he did not and now I have seven nails that are all different sizes. I am not happy five times I said listen. This is bigger than the other. I have one nail that's a half an inch longer than every nail and then I have one that is a half an inch shorter than all the other ones absolutely terrible terrible terrible absolutely terrible And I wasn't even offered for them to fix them so now I have to go to another salon have them reshape all the nails, so they are all the same size and not once did he check each nail to make sure they were the same size as the other one never. Tried calling and the lady that answers always says no manager or owners here neither want my money back or redo nails the right way. Went here when they originally opened and had a great experience. Continued to get pedicures over the summer. When gel toe nail polish was taken off I noticed one of my toenails did not look good, they told me it was from having gel polish on. Despite them filing the polish off and buffing, the toenail still looked odd. I saw a dermatologist who said it is a fungus and most likely got it from the salon. At least 3 occasions of pedicures I questioned and they told me it was from the gel polish. As nail techs I am sure they recognized the discoloration as fungus and should not have continued with the pedicure. Would not recommend at all. read more
