I just finished getting my gel x refill and a pedicure. What a wonderful experience..again. I was here three weeks earlier and got a gel x set. I'm very impressed that my nails lasted so long. My nails did not lift on the nail beds, which I can really appreciate, especially when washing my hair. IYKYK. All the nail techs are very nice and do really good work. I also enjoy that they have entertainment. Got to watch a cute rom com on Netflix while getting my nails and toes done. I made an appointment to come back again in 3 weeks! Tips: Parking is limited so you may want to get dropped off. Sundays seem like the best day to walk in if you don't have an appointment. It was not very busy this morning. read more

Love this place! Have been going for over 15 years. All the ladies are so sweet and I'm never disappointed when I leave. They are also really great at squeezing you in as a walk-in (unless they're super busy, but they'll tell you when to come back). I loved my visit the first few times, but I've stopped enjoying them due to a decline in quality. The shaping used to be incredible and the polish used to be even and precise, but it's gone downhill over my last few visits. The workers are always super friendly which is a redeeming quality! Im not one to ask for adjustments if I don't like the look of the nails, but I've been practicing being more vocal when I'm spending money on a service. My first visit there, the top coat was not cured thoroughly so there were uneven sections. The workers were super accommodating in redoing the topcoat on the nail I requested. However, my last few visits have not been enjoyable. I book usually a week to two weeks in advance, but it feels like i've been just getting squeezed in between other clients as of recently. I had to wait over an hour for my pedicure recently despite having made the appointment for a mani pedi two weeks in advance. My manicure this past time was uneven and splotchy, and my almond nails were all different shapes and sizes. The cuticle area was not cleaned prior to curing so it was left spilling onto my actual nail that I had to clean up with a file myself to avoid contact dermatitis. It's not the usual neat and precise experience they had given me the first few times. While the staff are all super friendly, I don't want to have to fix things on my own when I'm paying so much for a service. It's becoming too much of a hassle between parking, waiting around, and not getting a nice mani/pedi which is what we're ultimately there for. I liked this place for a bit but i'm currently on the hunt for a new nail salon because I'm just not happy here anymore. read more

Let me start with saying this is my review based of off my experience... I had a 9am gel mani & gel pedi appointment with Mi Mi, who showed up minutes before 9:30, not cool. I prefer my gel polish be soaked off with either acetone or this paste they brush on. I had to ask twice for them to be soaked off and her facial subtitles let me know she was bothered by my request, but she obliged. After applying the paste, she used a file to remove any residual gel. I prefer a scraper be used. She then used the cuticle nippers to push back my toenail cuticles. WTAF?! I didn't say anything bcs I had made up my mind that I wasn't returning. She started to gel polish my toes and I had to ask her to clean up any gel overflow before it was cured on the UV light. Again, I saw her facial subtitles. Then, the massage... She only massaged my calves and punched the underside of each foot 3 times. That was a piss poor excuse of a pedicure massage if I ever felt one. She then filed any cured overflow gel off. Removing any free edge coverage that will prohibit moisture from getting between the nail and gel which could promote fungus growth... My toes do not look terrible, but for the price, I expected a better experience (Basic pedi $35 + gel polish $20). Now, the mani. I had gel polish on my finger nails. Without asking, she used the paste (sorry, I don't know what it is, but it removes gel polish), which I appreciated! She then filed any remnants and again proceeded to use the cuticle nippers to trim away the obvious cuticle on the nail bed. I prefer a cuticle pusher to be used to remove anything on the nail bed and the nippers to cut it away. As for shape... I did botch the explanation of what I wanted, so the first nail was a little rough. I then showed her a picture from their website and it was her work. The shape I got is very similar, but not what I showed her. No biggie, maybe I'm just a square girly. Polish is nicely done, majority of my nails are crooked, and half of my free edges are exposed. She paints the nail and then fine tunes the shape. I prefer fine tune the shape, then paint so the free edges is sealed, protecting my nail from moisture getting trapped. When it came to payment, if you pay in cash or venmo, they do not charge tax. I let Mi Mi know I didn't have venmo, do they except apple pay or zelle. She said apple pay. Apple pay comes from my bank acct, like venmo or zelle. I asked Mi Mi who do I apple pay, she gave me a number and asked the tip to be sent there and I can apple pay another number for the services. I told her I have cash for tip, I didn't have enough cash for services. She said ok. I tipped everyone out and went to the front to pay for my services. I asked to apple pay and the gentleman said ok. He then asked me to tap my phone. I don't think he understands apple pay isn't tap to pay. Apple pay requires a phone number so I can send the money from my checking acct, just like venmo or zelle. I was told my total was $181, after I tapped my phone, I got a receipt for $189 and some change. Needless to say, I paid the taxes bcs of a miscommunication. This place is not my cup of tea, but I do appreciate the extensive color options. read more

My go-to gal is Mimi for my gel pedicures and special occasion gel manicures. I initially met her at a different salon but when I went back only to find out she had left, I was so bummed. I am visiting the island and spotted this place near to where I am staying. Dropped in and had the Deluxe Manicure for $60 total before tip. There are less expensive choices available but this included callous removal and massage, etc. Looks beautiful in the end and was an excellent service and experience. So happy with the results!
