One night, after a great meal at Jasmine Asian Bistro I looked over and saw Creative Nails. I thought to myself...how awesome would that be! A solid restaurant next to a pedicure joint. Talk about three birds with one stone. So last Saturday I called up Creative Nails and made an appointment for my pretty little Missy and I. Yes, I totally get pedicures with my fine ass wifey. We rolled in for the 430 appointment and were greeted by Lisa and Tin. It was awesome that no other patrons were inside. As you enter Creative nails you will immediately notice the extremely high ceiling and beautiful crown molding. This is not your average strip mall nail joint. The inside of Creative Nails is on a whole other level compared to most poorly decorated nail places. Tin and Lisa went to work and I was in pedicure heaven. The Aqua Spa chairs they have are like something I've never experienced. Not only did they go extremely far back for me they also had a booty massage! She is a one woman shop so she stays pretty busy and yet I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appt. I used to go there just for pedicures and now I go for manicures & polish as well. She utilizes her time wisely and she is fast because she knows her craft so well. She is very meticulous and always does a beautiful job. She offers a wide range of services and her prices are very fair. It's always so nice to go there since it's just you and her and you're not having to absorb a cacophony of other people's conversations. Go there! You won't be disappointed. My sisters get their nails done here and seem to have good things to say, so I wanted to give it a try after work. I have stopped in 3 different occasion as at different times to do a "walk-in" as they have advertised on the front door... to no avail. Normally, if they seemed busy... well, that's one thing, kudos to them. However, each time I go in... the place is empty and the women are sitting around sipping Starbucks. My go-to pedicure location. I have been coming here since 2013 when Tru and Tee owned it. Tee used to do my gel nails every two weeks and I would occasionally get a pedicure. They sold it to one of their employees and I have since started going somewhere else for my gels but I still try to make it in every couple months for a pedicure. I have tried a few other places because Creative Nails is so out of the way for me, but I always wish I had just ended up coming back here. I do wish they had a larger color variety but there are still plenty to choose from. I came here Saturday 6/30 and I am not sure what the name was of the woman who worked on me but she was great. Very gentle and her leg massage was awesome. She was so patient when I messed up the big toe TWICE. The first time, I walked outside and the wind blew something right into it. She didn't hesitate to remove the polish and fix it for me. After that first repair, I stood to leave and my sandal hit it just right, once again destroying the polish. She started from fresh on that nail for the third time and never once seemed upset with me. After that I just sat in the chair for 20 minutes so it would dry and I wouldn't mess it up again. I wish I had tipped her more but I didn't realize I would end up being such a pain when I paid. I recommend this place to everyone. Cute, clean, and accommodating. read more

Went here for the first time since my regular nail tech is still on vacation. I really like how open the space is. Very spacious! Tammy did my nails. I got a fill and color change. She did well in regards to the nail length, but to me, another coat of polish would've helped because you can still kind of see through the polish. The shape on the nails were fine, but the thumbs were curved and not squared off. Tammy was very friendly and I loved talking to her! Another downside though is the salon is right next to a taekwondo place and they were very loud and you can clearly hear them. So if you were there to relax and get a pedi, I can see how that can be annoying. Prices are reasonable and design on two different nails is included in the price. I came here because my friend who normally does my nails was out of town (and I needed a new set). I had an appointment at 3, and when I walked in the salon it was very nice. It was spacious and they had a good color scheme (very Taupe-fave color!). Their services were on the pricier side ($45 for gel full set), but I realized that their gel technique isn't like most around town. Usually for gel, salons use acrylic to build the nail and then use gel polish. However this salon used IBD gel builder, which is specialized gel (costs more-makes sense). The technicians were very nice, and it took around an hour. I asked for the student discount and they charged me $40 instead of $45. read more

I walked in and the nail tech was sitting with another nail tech relaxing due to not being busy and when I asked for a full set she immediately got up and was very sweet unlike other experiences I had where a nail tech would get annoyed. The technicians were really friendly and my toenails turned out really well. The only complaint I have is that is that it was an extra $20 for gel polish. A little steep in my opinion, but otherwise good service. If you want somewhere that gets you in and out, but does a good job, this is your place. I went to this salon and the young girl who did my nails was no better than a beauty school student. she took a little over an hour to do new gel nails. She had to keep filing the color off and trim the nails down to almost nothing because they were so lumpy and uneven. I tipped her 5 only cause I felt so sorry for her cause it's clear she is not going to do well in this field. Today is only day 3 and the color is chipping off now. Regretting tipping her. This is my second time coming here. You can't beat the price and they are willing to do a lot of fun designs. I came in with a triangle design which she executed very well on one hand. There was a plan for an extra design on one nail but she said she did not have time, I would have paid to get the design but oh well. Also one the other had the design was the same but one finger off making it weird but still Cute (I did not ask for this nor was it asked). As well she did not ask how long I wanted my nails, just made them short. Overall I am impressed with my nails but disappointed with the lack of attention to detail. I have been here twice for Shellac. I have gone to Tammy both times. Super sweet, does a great job also. This place is very large and very clean. They have a large array of Shellac Colors and I really like the way they have their other nail polishes displayed in an area that is full of natural light. I work close by and asked for a quick appointment within 10 minutes with an hour for lunch. They greeted me very friendly when I arrived and the salon was clean. I waited just five minutes enough time to pick out a color. Tammy was great and listened to how I wanted my nails done applying extra coats to make sure the nail was thicker and hard. The color was transparent so she suggested a top coat of glitter that finished it off perfectly. The only negative was one nail still has a spot of old color that bugs me a little cause I can see it and that's why it's a 4 not a 5. If the color wasn't transparent the new coat would have covered it. She finished before my lunch hour was up which made me very happy. She was gentle and kind. I've been getting regular shellac manicures for almost 4 years, and this was by far the worst experience. The technician painfully filed my cuticles while trying to file off my existing polish. She then applied the wrong color (brown vs purple...BIG difference), and acted like I was an inconvenience for not being happy and requesting a different color. To top it off, the top-coat pooled and then cured accordingly on several of my nails. Oh, and I called ahead of time to check prices and was told $25, then charged $35. Thankfully, they adjusted that too. I will not be back, and I would not recommend. read more
