A friend and I sweated our way through both floors of the gallery because they had some interesting pieces, but it was cooler outside in the breeze. That being said, this gallery has an eclectic selection of paintings, prints and sculptures, including some lifelike and life-size sculptures and more abstract pieces. Some of the "art" was so immersed in pop culture (a painting based on the Family Guy cartoon? Puh-leez...) that I thought it was kind of junky. However, I liked a lot of the paintings and almost all the sculptures, including some great bronze sculptures by Yuroz. The building itself is pretty cool, too. There's a glass atrium at one side where some sculptures are on display, and there's a spiral staircase up to the second floor.

While we were not entirely sure what to expect, we ended up attending three of their lively afternoon auctions. The gallery consultants David Fussy Art Auctioneer Director from Hungary. and Tsholofelo, Art Gallery Manager from South Africa, were incredibly welcoming, making the experience fun and educational even for beginners. The team clearly explained shipping costs, framing fees, and the delivery timeline to our home. They offered complimentary champagne and really took the time to explain the background of the different artists they feature. We decided to purchase over eleven framed prints and paintings as a memento of our vacation. It was the best experience and the highlight of our cruise. The selection of art was incredible, and the ambiance and the gallery walkthrough. And we purchased paintings from Matt Beyrer, Ashton Howard, Chris DeRubeis, Sam Park, and Thomas Kinkaide. I kept asking about piece after piece and Ronél Ströh never made me feel like I was wasting her time. Over the course of the trip she really learned my taste and found a stunning painting by Jim Warren. She Tracked it down in the catalog, wasn't even on the ship. She just knew I'd want it. Over different days she explained the difference between lithographs, serigraphs, hand-embellished pieces. I price-checked in front of her, never felt embarrassed. Didn't buy until basically the last day. Zero pressure, ever. I Left with two Kre8s, a Peter Max, a Fazzino, and that Warren. About the pricing, yes it's above street market, but the frames alone are stunning. I tried framing the complimentary lithographs I received and got a reality check fast on what framing actually costs. So honestly, the framing alone and when you include shipping is already at least 250+ everything arrived faster than I expected, beautifully packed. No issues whatsoever. One thing nobody mentions: once you buy, suddenly everyone on the ship has an auction story. There's this whole little art community that forms onboard. Genuinely fun. Go for the free drink. Great little eclectic art shop in downtown Northville. For a small footprint this business packs a…read morebig punch with a variety of items ranging from knick knacks to glassware and my favorite their hand made/painted ceramic tiles. These tiles which were the focus of my trip can be used as standalone art pieces, high end artistic back splashes, accent pieces and the list goes on and on. I am considering buying a beautiful Calaveras tile (Mexican Day of the dead celebration represented by colorfully decorated skull) for the tequila station I have in my basement bar. This is just one example of the some of the uses for these artistic tiles as they can add beauty in so many ways to your home. Overall I am a big fan of this business. If you enjoy browsing unique artwork and/or are looking for some accent art to add to your home than this is a business you should definately check out the next time you are in downtown Northville.

The space is bright and clean, with white walls, hardwood floors and lots of light. They offer a mix of paintings, sketches and prints as well as three-dimensional art, ranging from geometric abstracts to landscapes to whimsical metal people sculptures made from appliances. All are made by regional artists. I'm not really their target audience since I can't really afford hundreds of dollars for original art, but they did have some nice smaller prints at prices the little people could afford. I was tempted by a few smaller pieces that were under $40.
