    I did NOT want to leave a negative review during a pandemic when local businesses are hurting. The kennel experience for our dogs was average at best, but the "customer service" is zero and the billing practices are shady. We booked boarding with a deposit on 7/15. Per instructions, we emailed paperwork same day. We received an email on 7/17 which said to call to book boarding. We were concerned, so we called and were told we were all set. We dropped off on 7/29 at 6:45p. The employees could not find our paperwork. Liz said the facility was extremely short staffed. She stated the "Angola location isn't like this when she works there, they have their sh*t together." Liz confirmed that we were picking up on 8/2 at 5:30p. Liz said if we picked up before noon on Monday, we would NOT be charged for a 5th day. We confirmed we would pick them up on Monday morning - we would take off of work to pick up around 9:00a. Liz scribbled on the paperwork and said, "I'll mark that down but I'll also put on here that you might come later in the day just in case anything comes up and you're not able to get here early in the morning." Liz looked at the kennel and noticed that two dogs were in the suite that we booked. She said again that they were short staffed and "nobody knows what they're doing." She said they would put our dogs into a small kennel until they are able to move the others. Another employee was called up to bring our dogs to the temporary kennel. This employee brought out a large dog who was being picked up. The dog broke free and ran towards our dogs. Fortunately, the dogs were not reactive and the other owner stepped in to grab his dog. The chaotic drop off did NOT inspire a lot of confidence in our first visit, however, we were relieved that we could check on the dogs via the webcam. I consider myself to be pretty tech savvy and it was a struggle to view the webcam, but it did work. We checked on the dogs and eventually they were placed in the correct kennel, and they appeared to be calm so we felt a bit better. The dogs were fine throughout the weekend when we checked the webcam. However, on Sunday, 8/1 we noticed that the blanket and all the toys had been removed from the suite. We weren't sure why as there didn't appear to be any signs of soil/destruction of the items. We picked up the dogs on Monday, 8/2 at 9:00a. Danielle said there was a billing issue and that we were charged for 10 days instead of 5. She said we would be refunded 50% to our credit card. We said we were only supposed to be charged for 4 days as we picked up before noon. Danielle confirmed and said it would be reflected on the email receipt. She told us to call the next day if anything was wrong. We reviewed our CC statement and noticed we had NOT been charged. We were confused by what Danielle had told us. We received our credit card receipt for the charge at 8:16p. We confirmed that the amount had been charged to the credit card. We were not charged for the accidental 10 days, rather we were charged for 5 days. We were sure there was a glitch as Danielle had mentioned, so we would call the next morning. We called on Tuesday, 8/3 but couldn't get through. We sent an email so that someone could respond to fix the error. We received a call back and instead of acknowledging the error, the employee said that we were charged for the 5th day because our paperwork stated a 5:30p pickup. We said the pickup time had been changed to before noon. They said it didn't matter and they use the original paperwork for billing. We talked to Liz. We said that we clearly had this discussion with her and watched her scribble on the paperwork. She denied this and said she did not remember telling us about the policy. We told her that the website also shows this policy. She said that the website doesn't matter. We told her that she did not let us update the paperwork, and simply scribbled on it herself. Potential customers beware - we could accept *some* errors or confusion with new staff, however, we cannot accept shady billing practices.

    We had to board our puppies due to an emergency and the staff were amazing!!! They were professional, kind, empathetic to the situation we were in and most accommodating ! When picking them up the staff were genuinely sad to see them go! Trust me Roxy and Maggie will be back!!!

    I've always tried to board my two precious puppies here. They are wonderful to my dogs and take incredible care of them. I got stranded on Boston during the blizzard and they were able to keep them and just did an overall terrific job. They even tolerated me calling practically every day too circle on them and would go back to their run and check on them for me. I would recommend them without reservation. Thanks Creature Comforts for really caring.

    I'm very excited to be the first person reviewing the brand new Creature Comforts Pet Resort. My girlfriend and I were spending the weekend in Toronto and decided to give this new and exciting looking resort a try over where we would usually leave the pups. When you first walk into this place you immediately see how massive the facility is. The lobby is a good size and just from standing there you are able to see a bunch of the sweets and the adorable dogs that are staying there. All of the rooms have actual little human style beds, toys, and a television set for them to watch some dog programming in it during there stay. My pups were here from Saturday morning until Monday morning and one of the coolest things about this place is that I was able to check on them whenever I wanted thanks to the camera in the room and the app that lets you see what the pups are doing. I couldn't of been more satisfied with this place and it's great to know that they have a safe, caring place to sleep when we are away. I highly recommend anyone in the area give them a shot, the price and service are fantastic! This review has been approved by Balor the Chow Chow, Sonny the Pug, and Annabelle the Pug.

    Abusive and dirty. This place isn't a good choice. Many other options that are nicer and also more affordable this place is greedy.

Camp Bow Wow is so clean it's unbelievable, I am extremely happy with everything about Camp Bow Wow and so is my dog! The staff is extremely friendly and they know every dog by name. This place fills up very quickly during the summer vacation time and during the holidays, so book your interview for the first time early and book your dog sitting reservation early. My dog is so happy and eager to come here. He wags his tail and gets really excited so I know that it's a great place! He loves playing with the other dogs! And I love that I can watch my dog play in the yard on the camera and also watch him in his kennel! Overall, I would never put my dog in any other kennel than Camp Bow Wow! I would give the whole Camp Bow Wow team 10 stars if I could! Great job Camp Bow Wow !!!

The doctors are genuinely excellent -- no complaints there. But when my cat was actively dying and I desperately needed an appointment, they had nothing and sent me to urgent care or emergency care. The urgent care vet was limited in what he could do without my cat's full medical history and test results. Only Brighton-Eggert had it. Comprehensive blood work for the last few years, every 4-6 months. And also the result of the echocardiogram. When your fur baby is dying, you need compassion -- and that's exactly what was missing. A truly compassionate practice shows up for you in the worst moments. This wasn't that. The problems don't stop there. They've also stopped sending prescriptions to third-party pharmacies, a move that forces you to use their in-house pharmacy. They're not in the business of putting your pet first; they're in the business of protecting their revenue streams. Other reviews tell the same story: great vets, but a lack of compassion when you truly need them. If your pet is healthy, they're fine. But if you're facing a crisis, you may find that the compassion and continuity of care you're paying premium prices for simply isn't there. Premium pricing should come with premium support, at least compassionate support, when it matters most. It didn't for us. The doctors are genuinely excellent. But management has lost its way. Read the owner's responses to negative reviews and judge for yourself. We gave them our loyalty and our money without hesitation. What we needed in return was compassion. We didn't get it.

His fur was uneven, his face was stinky, and he was absolutely terrified in the car. I knew it was too good to be true when Buffalo Barks called me half an hour later telling me he was ready to be picked up after I dropped him off. I've been to multiple grooming salons where it takes at least 90+ minutes. That was my first bad experience. Second bad experience: I had made a grooming appointment on Friday March 6th. I show up and the guy tells me that he "called me and left a voicemail" stating that the groomer was out sick. I didn't receive a voicemail and rescheduled for Sunday March 15th. I showed up at 3:30pm which was our scheduled appointment and the place was closed. I called them the next day on Monday March 16th and the guy told me, "Yeah, we closed at 3pm yesterday because no one else was coming in." I literally saw this guy write my name down in his calendar. They obviously didn't thoroughly check their calendar. I rescheduled for that Thursday March 18th only for him to call me back and cancel my appointment TWICE. I eventually just let them pick a time for Thursday because I needed my pup cut ASAP. Mind you, he was supposed to get his hair cut on 3/6 and he was scheduled to go on 3/19- almost 2 whole weeks later. My dog is a shih tzu and his fur grows fast! I have no clue what happened to this place. I had a great experience the first few times I took my pup there. I ended up scheduling a grooming appointment at Dog Days of Buffalo where they took my pup the next day. I called Buffalo Barks to cancel my appointment and they had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to reschedule. I told them no thank you! I rather learn how to cut my dog's hair than go back to that place again.
