Creekside used to be a wonderful vet for us. Unfortunately, after the change in ownership and location, my experiences have been very different. I've had several situations that made me uncomfortable and ultimately led me to seek care elsewhere. For example, during one visit a vet strongly promoted a product while mentioning their student loan burden. After a surgery, a stitch was left in place; when I brought it up, the way the situation was addressed left me feeling blamed rather than supported. I've also felt pressured toward additional procedures that didn't seem medically necessary for my pet at the time. Lastly, I noticed a big change in my dog's behavior during our visits. She would begin shaking the moment we pulled into the Creekside parking lot. She has never reacted this way at any other vet or location. She's normally a very confident, relaxed dog, so seeing her shake like that was heartbreaking. It was another sign to me that this wasn't the right environment for her. I understand that every clinic has its own approach, but based on my experiences, Creekside is not for me. read more

I have been feeding a few feral cats and my favorite was a white calico I named Multi. As I was driving down my street I felt a thump. I stopped immediately and saw that I had hit my little Multi. I never saw her. Creekside is the nearest vet so I rushed her over there. The second I walked in a vet tech took the cat and the doctor saw her immediately. Unfortunately she did not survive. I completely fell apart and the staff was absolutely wonderful and kind. Their compassion, caring and love for animals is very apparent and I would not take my pets (6 cats) to any other vet. Placed an order online with a major pet vendor for Urinary Tract Cat Treats. Pet is a current patient, last seen on 6/4/24. Not only did CREEKSIDE Animal Hospital not respond to the vendor, but also refused to respond to six (6) text messages and contact forms. Horrible customer, vendor, and most importantly of all, pet service. Ordered the treats on 8/16/24. CREEKSIDE Animal Hospital could not find the time to respond within eight (8) days. Messaged today: "Time is of the essence". No response whatsoever. CREEKSIDE Animal Hospital only has CRICKETS to offer. read more

Today I went in with an emergency for our dog that happened over the weekend! As a dog "parent" I was kind of frantic when I walked in the door and Creekside did all they could to get my pup right in to help ease my anxiety. Dr. Giese is an angel sent for sick animals and I'm so happy she was there to treat my dog. I had to beg them to redo my sick cat's IV line (because they didn't hit the vein/artery during the EUTHANASIA that they recommended), and they did the bare minimum. My cat should have gotten some pain management but they said it "would slow his breathing down". HE WAS BEING EUTHANIZED, WHO CARES IF HIS BREATHING WAS SLOWED DOWN. I honestly think these vets hate animals. Death Row inmates are treated better to be honest. 2 stars because 1 star reviews seem suspicious. I only go here because it's close to my house. read more

When we first started seeing Dr Anderman, the office/service was great! as the years progressed, the service got pretty bad. The front desk staff became rude and unresponsive. Actually ignoring me and other patrons to continue personal conversations. She has never been pushy and is so good with our boy even though he jumps all over her while she tries to check him. I'm very happy with the vets at this office. Every one of them has been amazing with our Brittany Spaniel who has been coming here since he was 8 weeks old. He's almost a year now and they have always been very accommodating to our needs! When he was a small puppy I felt like I was one of those "New Moms" calling them all the time because I always though something was wrong. They never let me down! The vets would call me back or I was always offered an appointment if necessary. After he was neutered they called to see how he was doing. When he ate something he should not have and had to have his stomach "pumped" they called to see how he was doing as well. The staff is great too! The nurses are very good with Bleu as well and very caring! The receptionist are accommodating and most of them are friendly. Not that any of them are unfriendly, they just aren't "overly" friendly. You could never accuse them of being fake! But they do their job and they do it well. That's what counts. read more

Not very focused on customer service for my pet, my cat has been sick with poops for 2 weeks, 1st medication didn't work so took her back for follow-up for new med, they wouldn't fill med same day due to being 'busy' would prefer to lengthen my cats distress. :-( poor thing gets so embarrassed with the runs. I really don't want to leave a poor review and should give less stars than this but I feel it was partly my fault I was in a rush. I came in for one issue my dogs eye infection. Long story short "comprehensive" exam for $40 that was not really that comprehensive didn't check nails or teeth. But gave me a estimate of services for $500 that included rando things like joint pills... I came in because the dogs eyes were swollen shut. How about try treating it with some antibiotic first? I asked for some they did sell it to me for $16 and now my dogs eye is better. I understand the need for other tests but let's try simple first. Giving one star back they did call to see how she was doing and if I noticed any improvement read more

Adopted my cat through here. Staff are friendly and know my kitty. They are always happy to see her and excited to hear that she's coming in. Everyone comes to hug her and give her treats. I don't ever feel rushed or that I'm offered "extra" things that aren't really necessary. read more

Absolutely horrible! We called and made an appointment for our brand new puppy. Because they lack any attention to detail they made a curbside appointment instead of an in person appointment without ever explaining this to us. When my husband got there and explained that our puppy needed shots and this needed to be an in person appointment they still tried to charge us when they were the ones that made the mistake. We waited 2 weeks for this appointment and explained they needed to see us because the dog needed shots but they would not accommodate us. Unacceptable...we will NOT be back! read more

A year ago, my sweet kitty became very, very ill. We were new to the area, and we needed to find a vet very quickly. When we brought her in, they were SO kind and really did everything possible to help her. They let us stay with her an hour past closing, never rushed us, and let us say our goodbyes. It was a horrible experience to lose our dear friend of 16 years, but the doctor and staff treated her with such kindness and love you would have thought she was their own. The best Veterinary Hospital in the area. The only regret I have is that I didn't know about them when my dog was a puppy. We were with a very well known vet in the area and the care was questionable. We found Creekside through a friend, who also went to our old vet, until they found Creekside. I have never been happier with a Veteinary Clinic. The staff are so friendly, the vet techs treat my girl like she was their own. Dr Geise is a blessing. Very disappointed in Creekside today. Called to schedule an appointment for my cat, who is sick and desperately needs to be seen. They scheduled the appointment, then called and said the vet was refusing to see her. Claiming that they didn't have enough time to sedate her. I asked for them to give me something to help her make it through the weekend until I could bring her Monday and they wouldn't do that either. The vet I spoke with couldn't even give me an idea of things to try at home. Their recommendation was an animal hospital that has terrible reviews. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The fact that they wouldn't help when we've been using them for years is disheartening. I recommend looking elsewhere for a vet. Thankfully I was able to get her in and get her seen by another vet because clearly the staff and vets at Creekside are heartless. Which is sad considering that a few years/months ago they would have hands down been the first place I recommended. read more

Do not bring your cat here, especially being a first time owner this place left a horrible veterinarian experience with my cat and I. First they ignored my only complaint of a rash on my Cats neck saying "it's dry skin, it'll fix itself." Ok you're the professional I guess. Here we are 2 months later and the rash is double in size and now bleeding, yeah really fixing itself. On top of not addressing my only issue they requested a feline leukemia test for $40. I said sure and they took my cat back and brought her back 5 mins later and ask if I want the test done today or schedule for another time. I was under the impression the $40 was for the test? No, it was just the bloodwork for the test, the actual test is $70. WHICH NO ONE STATED! So I said go ahead and do it. Now I'm pissed and they come and tell me that she's negative, great. I was getting ready to leave and never come back when the nurse asked if I wanted to take another blood test too get her neutered. YOU ALREADY TOOK THE BLOOD!!! You couldn't have taken a little extra??? Needless to say I will never bring any animals to these money grubbers ever again, and I suggest you to take your loved ones to somewhere that they care about them more than money read more

Horrible Nasty front desk team members. They show no empathy and compassion for humans in wheelchairs so what makes you think they will show it towards animals. Both women have been at this vet for awhile. The lady who handles checkouts and payments has always been surly. Lady on the phone told me that the Dr takes 24-48 hours to call back. So if your pet is in pain, tuff luck! However they will take your credit card within seconds and the surly front desk ladies will give attitude. You would think $1300. in 45 days would but a smile on the sour faces, nope! My recommendation is to stay away. Lots of other vets with customer service oriented staffed trained with empathy. I am a retired Marine with a very sick combat service dog. She was seen nearly 2 weeks ago hear and when found out that she has hookworms, she was given 3 days of meds. 3 days after those meds were complete she began projectile vomiting, terrible diarrhea and has not eaten in nearly 2 days as well as is drinking no water today. The lady on the phone was rude and very much a smartalic as they refused to see her today unless I wanted to way 9 hours from now. This is NOT an animal hospital...animal hospitals should be expected to have the ability to treat emergencies on the weekend. Never again will I go here and I will always ensure anyone I know will not either. read more

My mother runs a dog rescue and we have been taking our dogs here for a while. I brought home a German shepherd puppy 2 years ago and chose this as my vet considering. Brought my dog in twice for an issue relating to his kidneys. Both times the vet diagnosed him with a uti and proscribed treatment as such. My dog died with complete kidney failure at Oakland vetinary service after spending 2 nights in emergency care. When i approached creekside all they were worried about was a $20 balance on my account that was a clerical error that I had in fact paid. I would not recommend this vet to anyone, our pets are far too valued to risk their life with this establishment. I have also filed complaints with the better business bureau and will continue to pursue this to the fullest extent so no pet owner has to go through this like I did read more

Brought my dog in for problems with mobility. It was our first time. Spoke to the lady on the phone an hour after they opened and she was super nice and we were able to get in same day. We walked in and were greeted by the same lady I talked to on the phone and another nice lady. The building is super nice. We were brought back to a exam room right away. Then we waited maybe 10mins before being seen by a vet. Everything went by pretty quick. The vet was super nice as well and having a older dog I had a few things I wanted her to look at. All in all it was a pleasant experience and this will be my new vet office that I take my dog to. read more

I am appalled at the service of this place! They refused to treat my dog who had severe heat stroke because " they didn't have a doctor or anyone on staff." Made an appointment and was NOT told over the phone that they were doing curbside. I wouldn't drop my child off at the doctors office curbside, my dog isn't any different. The best care for your pets! Just like the reviews mentioned, the vet technicians and Dr. Anderman are super friendly and informative on your pet's health. I take my two cats here and as a first time cat owner, they were very honest and actually cared about my cats' well being. The place inside is clean and doesn't smell and lovely in decor. The staff greets you when you first walk in and occasionally you'll see a cat or two roaming around the office. They also have a little rescue of their own.
