The brewery does have smallish patio outside, but when we checked in to make sure it was pet friendly we found out that they are definitely NOT. "Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the premises. I mean, it can stay in your car, but don't let it out." Bummer for sure, although that patio wasn't terribly inviting on a chilly November night anyway. Besides not allowing our creature on the patio, the staff's demeanor didn't compensate. Most of the ones we talked to seemed pretty uninterested in being there...or maybe just not interested in paying attention to someone who isn't in college. We didn't take advantage of the food opportunities, but they do have a nice menu available. So maybe the food's good, maybe it's not, but it's certainly available. And to be fair, the place was crowded on a Saturday evening, so I think it's safe to assume that it's decent. Which brings us to the beer. Enough of the beers in our flights were good enough to save the rating above a 2 on my scale. They have some variety which is always a plus...sours, hefs, stouts, and multiple IPAs. If you're into craft beer like we are, you'll likely find something you'll like. It's unlikely that we'll return because there are a couple of other breweries close by that are significantly friendlier. But if you're in the area and in the mood for a pretty good craft beer, Robin Hood is a safe choice. In relation to the open faced sandwich I believe they use the pit beef because it had a great smoky flavor, the gravy was delicious and this dish ranks high in my book. The buffalo wings were excellent and smokey, the nashville hot sauce was spicy with more of a bbq flavoring. My family really enjoyed their bbq platters, there was a lot of food but none to take home. Overall - we had a great time. Pricing was okay with most entrees ranging from $15-$25.
