They are price-pointed very closely perhaps with Woodrose rearer the top by small amount. IMHO? Worth it. Friendly, clean and surprisingly quiet, given its proximity to the busy highway. We booked an ADA accessible room due to recent surgery I've had and listed my wife's service dog, not an ESA. We arrived early, paid the additional fee and checked in. I went to the room and laid down and my wife went into the office she's working out of while here. My wife returned a few hours later to check in an additional employee into his room that she had brought with her. She left her service animal in the car while she completed the paperwork. The owner, a very grumpy man, came in and started berating her over her service dog. His attitude was horrible and he was very combative in spite of her every attempt to de-escalate the situation. He kept yelling that he has the right to refuse service to anyone but had no reason to refuse a service and it would have been based on mine and her disabilities . The interaction left my wife completely frustrated and in tears . We were then removed from my ADA room and put into a room that was supposedly pet friendly. The room was dingy and vastly less comfortable and completely unacceptable for my needs. Their solution for removing me from the ADA room was to provide me with a dirty shower chair that would barely fit in the bathroom. Then after speaking with the lady behind the counter and explaining that it was not an ESA, but in fact an actual service dog, we were told we would not be charged. After my wife left the office, the owner then told the receptionist to charge us for a dog because we had two animals. He was completely delusional as we only had one and she was not a pet, she is a service animal. The gentleman's wife reversed the charges thankfully but I guarantee we will never stay here again. Believe the reviews this guy is every bit as bad as people say.

This is the old Pepperwood Motel, and it's just a simple old roadside motel. It's obviously been around for a long time, but they have done renovations. I liked the place. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom and the shower. The TV was a Roku TV, that also got Dish Network. So there was plenty of things to watch. The TV had a nice picture. The Wi-Fi was fast enough to stream video most of the time, although just a couple of times, I did get a tiny bit of buffering. Overall, not bad. . (I don't know if the Wi-Fi signal changes if you get further away from the office. ) The bed was a little bit firm for my personal taste, but everybody's different. I still got a good night's sleep. There was a desk that you could either work or eat at, there were plenty of plugs to charge my gear. And there was a both a fridge and a microwave in the room. There were some scuffs on the furniture, and a little chip in a corner of the shower, but hey, that's just cosmetic. There were a few small things. As I said, this is a basic motel room, and there is not a closet, or a place where you can hang your clothes. The shower had plenty of pressure, and plenty of hot water. Also, the shower has neither a bathmat or a grab bar, so you do have to be careful while you are taking your shower Also When I got there, the batteries in the remote were low, and the bed only had two pillows, and they were kind of flat. However, when one of our family had used the shower and come out on the laminated wood floor, her feet were covered in ash and completely black. Girls' room bathtub doesn't drain and ants crawl through broken tiles. The door on one of the rooms were extremely offset to where you had to put a considerable amount of force in order to open it.
