My wife and I were in Portland for a long weekend and my sister and brother-in-law took up to their favorite burger joint. I ordered an IPA and a smash burger and a basket of fries. The smash burger came out pretty fast and it met expectations. Super juicy and hot and a perfect bun. Our server was super nice and the company all chatted and laughed. First time here and our group loved it! On a Saturday night, it was moderately busy, but we were able to find a booth to sit at. I ordered the zero-proof Riptide, which was very refreshing on that warm night! I also took a sip of my friend's Pickletini and liked it more than I thought I would! The decor above of bar was so fun to look at - this place had a "creepy" (haha) vibe to it, and I could see the subtle hints of the clown theme. Where do I even begin with Creepy's?! It was love at first sight We came in on a Thursday around 6:00 pm. There were a few people at the bar when we arrived. We were greeted so warmly by the most incredible bartender. They were attentive, funny, and just a joy to chat with in general. The decor is creepy, spooky, and super friggin cool. I ordered The Pickletini. It was what pickle dreams are made of. It was the perfect combo of everything and the pickle was a delish addition. Not to mention that Pickletini and that smashburger are the most top tier combo I've ever had. The smashburger blew my expectations out of the water. I added caramelized onions and it was so elite. The meat was tender and flavorful. The sauce was soooo delish and added the perfect balance. I added waffle fries and they were hands down best I've ever had. I keep dreaming about them. We have already made the decision that creepys will be our happy hour date night as they have a cocktail & smashburgie for $10! What a deal! Prices were great for how incredible the service was and the quality of the food and drinks! This is an interesting clown themed bar and eatery, serving american food like burgers and hot dogs. We got smash burgers bingo style. It was oily and slightly lacking in flavor, but good enough to finish. The waffle fries were pretty decent, crunchy and lightly seasoned. The over under cocktail was sweet and delicious, and the lamplighter had a noticeably strong pineapple taste. Loved the artwork on the walls, beyond the clown theme, especially in combination with the dim colored lighting setting the mood. The props and decor in the bar area were just a bit "creepy", but also kinda random... like why is Elvis there?!? Los Burgers has been on my husband's list for awhile. It's inside Creepy's. Creepy's is a fun place with lots of clowns and other creepy things. It's pretty dark inside too. It wasn't too busy when we got there, so the wait wasn't too long. We both ordered the special... a smash burger with Oaxaca cheese and some sauce that I can't remember right now. We also got one side of fries to share. They split the side of fries for us, and it was a large order. Plenty of fries. Salty but tasty. The burger was very crispy throughout, which I liked. If I could give negative one stars I would. Staff is super rude and won't acknowledge customers specifically the women with a heavy black chest piece and a cross tattoo. Will snatch your ID out of your hand and give you attitude. Went up for another round of drinks after the first interaction because maybe she had needed a moment, when my partner and I tried getting a second round she wouldn't look at us or help us, just kept helping other people around. Also took her 10 minutes to make 2 drinks. Treat your customers better especially if they're paying $15 for a drink. We got the Single and Double Patty Smash Burgers with Waffle Fries. The patties were well-smashed, crispy around the edges but still juicy in the center. The burgers were buttery with soft buns, tasty sauce, and pickles. Everything was well-balanced. Unfortunately, some of our fries were way too salted.
