Came in mid day it was not busy, an really chill environment to order without feeling like you're being rushed. I love the art and such all over. It's pretty cool and I imagine it gets pretty poppin on the weekends! The burger was pretty good I can't lie, it really did taste like a burger you'd have from someone back yard. It was really good. The fries also had such a nice crunch and flavor to them! Was a little shocked that the prices just include the burger. Cool place! I liked the ambiance. The location is downtown, which means poor parking and limited safety. The burgers are okay. I enjoyed mine, but the kids' burgers were overcooked - clearly didn't receive much care. The sides were also just okay - neither the fries nor the tater tots were worth the calories. This was walking distance from my hotel, and after doing the outdoor food pods, I wanted something a bit more traditional but with some flair for lunch. The vibe of this place is definitely a rocker style experience, but I like how the restaurant/venue is set up, so I can easily imagine with performances, open-mic nights are like in the evenings. I went with the Fat Boy Slim (still a double patty, but I wanna say it was 1/6 each patty) and that was the right size for this day. It had all the goodies I wanted, bacon, pepper jack cheese with shredded lettuce & an ancho-chipotle mayo that was solid. We stopped by Portland Burger for a quick lunch before hitting two of Portland's must visits (Voodoo Doughnuts and Stumptown Coffee). Yes we were fully leaning into the foodie/carbloading lifestyle... Hood to Coast runners gotta fuel, right? I went with the burger that came stacked with bacon and onion rings and it hit the spot because it was juicy, flavorful, and indulgent enough that was borderline over the top. The prices were super reasonable, especially for the area, and portions were fine. The place wasn't too crowded when we stopped in, likely because it was a random Thursday in late August, so we had plenty of space to sit and chill before our sugar-and-caffeine adventure continued. I would imagine this place gets much busier on weekends or late nights (at least it has that vibe), but for a mid-day burger break it was perfect. Tasty food, quick service, and good value. We tried three different burgers here. They were good, but not great. I ordered the Angry Jalapeño burger, but it had a little too much bun, so that's what I ended up tasting most of the time. The patty could have been a little thicker as well. You order at the counter, find a seat, and they bring the food out to you. They had a BOGO deal on uber eats so we decided to give them a shot and we were pleasantly surprised. Its often hard to say how the service will be when ordering delivery, but from what little we can go by I guess they have great vibes. They wrote on our to-go bag, the same way starbucks sort of doodles on their mugs; plus they gave us a little candy burgers to go. Of all our deliveries, this by far had the most personality I've ever seen. Regarding the food it was really good by delivery standards. I try to never base an entire restaurant on delivery since by the time it arrives the food is never as good as it would be in person. But my wife and I both got the OG Burger with tots and we both really enjoyed it. I'm sure the tots and the onion ring would have been much crispier in person. But everything tasted amazing. This place is awesome. Came here with my family for lunch. Parking across the street made it super convenient to get to. Inside is decorated like the inside of a bar you'd see a local rock band at. This place has that and great beef! My burger was a 9 out of 10! Meat cooked perfectly and super juicy. Toppings were plentiful and great flavor with the ancho sauce. It came with two patties even though it was a "mini" and was super filling. Topped with lettuce, tomato, house sauce, cheddar and jack cheese and ancho sauce all on a crazy soft bun! Missed a point cuz the house sauce just wasn't enjoyable for me. Classic rock was a classic burger with lettuce, tomato, pickle (I think was homemade), house sauce, cheese and bacon. 10/10. It rivals any classic burger had in a specialty burger shop and most fine dining. Super juicy, super flavorful, real cheese. Not that American stuff. Backyard burger was basically a classic burger with no pickles, add barbecue sauce and French fried onions. Again, toppings were complimentary and not overpowering. Seasoning was on point and not lacking. Kids burger was meat cheese and ketchup. No fuss and my kid loved it. The fries and tots were fried to perfection! Not oily or extra greasy. For the ambiance, this is super high quality food hiding behind the grunge scene of an old bar. I'd recommend this place 10 times over. I was blown away with the cool "rock concert" theme and custom artwork on the walls. Things only got better when my burger arrived. My son and I were looking for a burger joint in Downtown Portland. We found Portland Burger , what a unique building with an amazing variety of Burgers and Shakes. The menu is extensive with too many options to list, the main options the Burgers not only look amazing they are. We tried the OG, huge onion ring, bacon cheddar bbq sauce, huge and delicious. I tried the back yard burger crispy onions , lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, mustard , ketchup, mayo, American cheese on a nice soft bun, so big I could not finish it, you can choose the size of the patties, hope you bring a strong appetite. They also offer various dipping sauces for the fries or tots, I really like the seasoning on the fries they have a little kick. The staff was very friends and welcoming the interior was full of wall art a bit rustic but yet fun environment with great classic rock music, not too loud just the right volume. All these rave reviews--had to come check it out. Cool little set up with an interesting menu. I went with the Magic Man and my son got the Hot Chick. We also got a cookies and cream shake and fries. I do agree with one reviewer that said that you couldn't really taste the beef due to seasonings and sauces. The burger was hard to eat because it was so saturated in sauce that the plate had a huge puddle. Every time I put it down on the plate I had to lay down another paper towel. The mushrooms were way over-seasoned with soy or Worcestershire sauce--so salty--overtaking the burger. The bun got so soggy that after a while I took it off and just finished eating the meat with fries. The milkshake was good and attractive, but the price was a little steep for the size of it. The fries were okay for not being hand cut. The Hot Chick was the star of the show. Love the spice level. This was a good sandwich. Now, I'm not knocking this place. It def has potential, and a following. I would come back to try other menu items, and would probably request less sauce--well, because sometimes less sauce is better...after all most of us come for the beef! read more

Every time I buy a burger her and get it home a block away, it's soggy. I pay so much money $16 for a burger and it's soggy. It a great burger to eat at the restaurant. The bun is a problem though. It disintegrates while you're trying to eat the whole burger. It tastes great. The onion rings are awesome. One time a year they have a deal for a month where you can get the burger for a cheap price and I wait for that date. read more

The only suggestion I would make and this could just be me but there was a little too much sauce on the burger.
