After a recent 50 minute drive the "Check Tires" light on the dash went on. The next day I called Burns and they were able to take a look at the tires the same day. I drove over, handed John the keys and he pulled it into his bay at the rear of the garage. He quickly checked each tire and found that all of them had low psi. He filled each to the proper pressure and was done in 5 minutes. He drove my vehicle around to the front and handed me the key. No charge. I gave him a small token of my appreciation which brought a smile to his face and a strong sincere handshake. It is these little things (not to mention the big ones) that make Burns Auto Repair indispensable to my family and the rest of the Newtown community.

I don't feel like i'm getting my strings pulled while i'm there like at many other auto services. My bbq tank was empty and weighs 17 pounds and when they filled it I got home it only weighed 33 pounds --5 pounds short of 38 which is supposed to be 80% filled. Price $22. My car was held for just one week, and they charged me $1,900 -- yes, you read that right. No clear breakdown, no explanation that made sense -- just an inflated bill and a rude attitude when I questioned it. They showed zero respect or empathy, even after I explained I was a veteran just trying to get my vehicle back. This company is clearly preying on people when they're most vulnerable. The lot was disorganized, customer service was beyond unprofessional, and the whole process felt like a scam wrapped in a legitimate business license. To treat anyone like this is wrong -- to treat a veteran this way is disgraceful. Avoid this place like the plague.

Whenever I have had a problem that seemed potentially major to me, Ryan often has been able to find a simple solution! It goes without saying that not every mechanic (or every business) would do that, especially knowing that the client/customer thinks there is a big problem! ... When he can, Ryan will tell me what to do the next time I experience a similar problem so that I don't need to make a service appointment. Often, Ryan will go above and beyond the call of duty. For example: Ryan often has offered me a ride home when I've dropped my car off for service, and I typically decline his kind offer and walk home (about 2 miles) or to my gym. On one occasion, when I was going to walk home in inclement weather after dropping my car off for service, Ryan insisted that he give me ride home and then, later that day when my car was ready, he picked me up at my house! Talk about going above the call of duty! Although I know that Ryan does not do body work, on one occasion I asked him for a recommendation for someone who does body work. I showed him the dent near the front, driver's side wheel well. Ryan worked his magic and removed the dent to the point that it was virtually unnoticeable. I no longer needed a body shop! I have nothing but great things to say about Ryan and his team. Without hesitation, I recommend Ryan's for routine service, simple or complex repairs, or an evaluation of or opinion about your vehicle!

I happened to look over at the fuel pump (it's on the passenger side and I'm the driver) and noticed it was almost full of 87! He'd walked away so I couldn't get his attention. When I questioned him, he said, "Yes, I put in 87." When I told him I asked for 93, he looked at me dumbfounded. He should have been paying closer attention to me because all he could say was it won't hurt for one tank or I could go and buy octane booster. He should have offered to do that right then and there. I'm extremely angry and his one tank excuse does not justify him not paying attention. This better not damage the engine of the Volvo!

Eventually it ended up at A-Team Auto and I could not be happier with the service!! They were expecting my car and called when it didn't arrive. I would have never known it was dropped off at the wrong place if they didn't called me. They quickly repaired the Jeep (it needed a new starter), repaired the hideous dent in my bumper, put air in my tires, and made sure the whole car was in tip top shape!
