They were tender, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection. Every single side dish deserved its own spotlight. The cabbage was perfectly cooked, the rice and peas were full of flavor, and the plantains were the perfect sweet complement. The entire plate was a masterpiece from start to finish. As for my picky eater? I looked over, and he had already finished half of his shrimp étouffée without a single complaint; which says everything!
