First time to order delivery. My food was not secured. That made me very uncomfortable. The string beans were okay. The gravy was flavorful. I didn't know a spicy shake would be on top. I received 2 thin chicken breast. They were fried crispy. Their mashed potatoes has the skin in it. Not my cup of tea. The small piece of garlic bread was good.

Walked up and greeted by the hostess right away! Tons of decorations on the walls!!! Like, every inch!!! Our waitress came to take our drink order super fast!! Delicious strawberry coconut sunrise!!!! My mom and I decided on the voodoo shrimp dip to start!!! Tons of flavor!! Wish it was served a little hotter. We also split the Zydeco Pasta. Tons of food!!! We leaned our plates, so we obviously loved it!! My daughter enjoyed her cheeseburger and coloring page! Overall good experience!!

Great food and service. Brook L. Was very sweet and attentive. Nice place, laid back. I had the "tricky fish" which was blackened catfish, crawfish étouffée, dirty rice and green beans. My grandson had popcorn shrimp and my husband had the shrimp brochette with dirty rice and green beans. Does not disappoint!!

My mom and I had a great lunch at Razzo's the other day. Our server/bartender Omar was amazing! The cocktails were on point! Their happy hour is great and the food was delicious. We had the crawfish and shrimp combo. I liked the seasoning on them. The Crawfish was juicy. I also liked the stuffed shrimp.

We came early so there's very few people here. The server brought our drinks very quickly. The Strawberry Coconut Sunrise is just my kind of cocktail, sweet. The Cajun music in the background adds to the atmosphere. Fun, casual booth or table seating. Wish we could have sat by the windows to see the fountain outside. The Voodoo Shrimp Dip was spicy with delicious toasted garlic bread. The Zydeco Pasta with shrimp had a good mix of vegetables. Fine for a chain.

Fried fish and shrimp with a side of gumbo

We stopped here for a quick, small lunch and were happy with the meal. Service was friendly and fast. They have some good deals on fried seafood combos, with an option to upgrade the side to some gumbo. All the food I tried was good, not something mindblowingly new, but no complaints on flavor, and the fried seafood was pleasantly crunchy. I also had their mango lemonade, it was good, but my sensitive taste could tell it was just Minute Maid lemonade with mango syrup. Overall the experience was pretty good for the price.

Razoos has been a favorite of mine until the recent years. They have changed the menus and specials quite a bit...no more happy hour . The service and food are always great. They have a good 12 dollar special that comes with salad or gumbo that rins all day. I got that and my son got the kids shrimp and gator. My mom got her favorite catfish and shrimp. We will be back for the special and the gator. My son wouldn't even share since it was so good! The decor is down south gator family style.

Everything here was great. Delicious food, friendly staff . JP was our server, he made sure we understood the menu and gave out recommendations when needed. The gator tail: was really good, and paired well with the cocktail sauce Fondue: my friends and I loved it , probably the best appetizer Fried American cat fish: seasoning was light so I added salt and pepper, however the texture was extremely crispy. What surprised me was the beans, which were seasoned very wonderfully Stuff chicken: well seasoned smoked chicken, lots of flavor in the mash potatoes, beans were very good Stuff shrimp: honestly this was our favorite entree, well seasoned shrimp, lots of Cajun flavors coming thru The gumbo: this was the most Lackluster dish, texture and all the ingredients were there but it lacked seasoning. We had better gumbo. I believe that if you didn't want to go far then this would be a good option. The decor was very sports bar like, I can totally come here for game night. The drinks were sweet and good, if you want something a little stronger yet good then the swomp thing was the sneaky drink that still was very yummy. High recommend this place, next time I would want to try some of the other dishes here.

Razzoo's Cajun Cafe definitely knows how to bring the flavor. Every plate we had was swimming in seasoning--in the best possible way. You won't find bland anything here. From the blackened fish to the red beans and rice skillet and even the fried gator bites and fries, the food delivered. That said, the service needs some serious attention. We were seated quickly, but waited too long before anyone even came to the table. The staff (mostly kids) didn't seem confident about the menu--some couldn't even pronounce basic items. We had to ask for everything: ketchup, sugar, salt, utensils... even clean menus. Ours had food on them. So, food gets a solid 4 stars, but service brings the overall experience down to a 3. If they clean up the service game, this spot could be unbeatable. #HayiaSophia #FlavorWins #ServiceMatters

    Blackened catfish with dirty rice.

We were invited back after a terrible experience and they got it RIGHT! Our server was Jose and he was friendly and attentive. The Swamp Things were definitely on point! In tried the blackened catfish w/ crawish topping and dirty rice. It was okay. I didn't like the catfish taste but it still was a good dish. The birthday girl got the stuffed flounder and said it was great! We definitely will be going back. Thank you.

We paid the extra 1.50 for garlic bread instead of regular bread and I wouldn't do that again. Only one side had butter and garlic and it wasn't very impressive. Even with the crowd, the line kept moving, and there was no shortage of delicious-looking options on the steam table. From fried chicken and turkey wings to baked fish, spaghetti, cabbage, green beans, mac and cheese, dressing, black-eyed peas, collard greens, candied yams, mashed potatoes, and more, it was hard to decide what to order because everything looked homemade. I ordered the turkey wing with collard greens, black-eyed peas, mashed potatoes with gravy, rice, a corn muffin, and sweet potatoes. I also grabbed a Suicide Punch, which is a mix of all their Kool-Aid flavors. First, let's talk about those sweet potatoes... BABY!! They absolutely stole the show. They were piping hot, buttery, perfectly sweet, and hands down the best thing on my plate. I could've easily eaten another serving. The collard greens were seasoned beautifully with a rich, smoky flavor and plenty of pot liquor. They were tender without being mushy and tasted like they had been cooking all day. The black-eyed peas were creamy, well-seasoned, and comforting, while the mashed potatoes were smooth and paired perfectly with the savory gravy. The rice soaked up every bit of that gravy, and the corn muffin was soft with just the right touch of sweetness. The turkey wing itself was tender, juicy, and covered in flavorful gravy. My only surprise was that I was expecting just the wing portion, but instead I received the whole wing with the drum attached. It wasn't a big deal because it was still delicious--I just personally prefer getting only the wing. The Suicide Punch was another winner. If you grew up drinking Kool-Aid, you'll appreciate it. It's sweet, refreshing, and a fun mix of all the flavors. My family ordered several other dishes, so we got to try quite a variety. We had baked chicken, macaroni and cheese, candied yams, and black-eyed peas, and everything was generously portioned. The baked chicken was moist and well-seasoned, and the mac and cheese had that creamy, homemade taste you hope for from a soul food restaurant. My only real complaint was that some of the food was served lukewarm instead of hot, which took away from the experience a little. Soul food just hits differently when it's fresh and piping hot. Ironically, the sweet potatoes were the one item that came out nice and hot, and they were absolutely perfect. Overall, Mikki's serves authentic soul food with generous portions and flavors that remind you of Sunday dinner at a family member's house. The food is comforting, the selection is impressive, and it's easy to see why the place stays busy. If everything had been served hot, this would've easily been a five-star experience. Pro tip: Don't leave without getting the sweet potatoes and a Suicide Punch. Trust me--you'll thank me later. sweet potatoes and a Suicide Punch free refills. Trust me--you'll thank me later.

Crawfish & Beignets was one such place, with a prominent presence in Chinatown with the support of the local community. They were among the highest on my list for a long while, but the subsequent deflating of the experience meant it was memorable for the wrong reasons. There were various things to made it more of a letdown, which included very slow service with a side of saltiness (#1) some 'tude, and a side of overpriced dishes. The latter was fueled by foodflation, but when coupled with the food blandness (#1), it becomes the worst kind of double whammy. My bowl 3 Ibs of mixed crawfish with crab legs and shrimp were a solid portion but the Cajun (mix) seasoning wasn't there. Even the extras of the potatoes and corn were bland, which prompted me to ask for additional seasoning and some spice. Ultimately, it wasn't worth the 45 minute wait. I also shared a number of appetizers with my group, which included beignets (fluffy, airy), fried rice (salty), boudin egg rolls (surprisingly tasty), calamari (so-so), and oyster nachos (best appetizer). It was all much more appealing than the crawfish that I subsequently had. One thing I'll always remember is the words etched along their wall in an attempt to be cute: "Peel me. Suck me. Pinch me. Repeat." I'm all for all of those things, but not here. This isn't because I wouldn't want to give them another chance, but because they're now closed. All the peeling, sucky, and pinching will have to be somewhere else. __________ (#1) Surprisingly, not from the food.
