It looked mostly clean, though a few tables still had dirty dishes left over. I ordered the Lemon Sugar Crepe and a 12oz Hot Chai Tea Latte ($21.13 total after military discount). The crepe was just okay -- completely missing any real lemon flavor. The only lemon taste came from the small garnish wedge. The whipped cream was very good, and the fresh sliced strawberries were sweet and ended up being the best part of the dish. The chai latte was only slightly warm and lacked the spice and sweetness you expect from a chai. The service, unfortunately, was disappointing. I greeted the cashier first and got no greeting back. No "thank you" after ordering, and no acknowledgment when my drink or food were delivered -- even after I said thank you twice. No "enjoy your meal," no check-in, nothing. I still tipped 15%, but honestly, it didn't feel earned. Overall, I'd rate this visit about a 2 out of 5 stars. The restaurant has potential, but the lack of friendliness and flavor really stood out. This was my second time coming here. First had a great experience. This time I waited for someone to take my order. There were 5 people working behind the counter. Finally got acknowledged order was taken. I arrived around 10ish. Many tables had not been cleared of dirty dishes or tables wiped down for next customer. I received my order and told the person that I was still waiting for my not drink. Was told they were making it. My waffle had a slight burnt taste to it. I finished my order when my drink finally arrived. It was luke warm. Was not impressed on my second visit. I realize there are kinks that need to be worked out when a new place opens. But there should be more than one person who can work the register and get customers taken care of. I'm so happy Cibolo has a sit down breakfast and lunch restaurant. Restaurant has a lot of indoor seating and they do have outdoor seating with a little pergola over it. The restaurant looks nice and clean wood furniture. I'm getting the minimalist vibe. The menu has a lot of goodies all different crêpes you can think of from savory to sweetness, the drinks are delicious. I love the iced caramel macchiato. They have a great variety of teas and coffee. They do have water and an ice machine over to the side from the cash register by the windows. You can get free filtered water to drink to wash all that sweetness down. Nice location Right off of Cibolo Valley Drive in the same shopping center as Chick-fil-A and P Terry's. I ordered the smoked salmon omelette. The omelette itself was yummy. The potatoes I really didn't care for them. I don't know if they were a little old or whatever but they didn't come out hot and fresh to me in my opinion so that's why they got four stars. The macchiato was delicious. The service was great. Only came here on Mother's Day. The way to order is a line however they let you make a reservation that does nothing, you still must wait in a line. The line is to the register which you pay at before you get your food. Find your own seating. For some reason when your food is ready the staff has to find you and your number (given at the register) so they are running around the whole restaurant with your food. I think the experience would improve if the restaurant worked more efficiently. Personally I think assigning waiters to tables and getting rid of the line all together, so the people who paid for food already don't have to wait over an hour to get their food. Adding alcohol to the menu would make sense, mimosas, vodka coffees. The food was good, however it took an hour and a half to get it after paying. read more

Went here yesterday for my birthday for the first time and it was delicious! I had savory crepes with ricotta, feta, and olives (almost like a Greek dish) and they were delicious! We went today on fathers day, took my whole family to treat my dad out and it was a terrible experience sadly. For a strawberry waffle it took 40 minutes for them to bring it out, when we went up to the counter to see what the hold up was it was sitting on the counter collecting flies with the staff conversing with each other. Waffle came out dry and didn't bring us syrup. Please go to Babock location instead. This was not a good experience. read more

We were so sad about our experience this past weekend. My husband and I decided to try this place after seeing a great review from their soft opening. We arrived early and waited until 9 AM for opening. We were the very first ones in line. Unfortunately, despite being open, they weren't prepared. Staff members were everywhere, but the digital menus weren't on, and the cashier told us that not everything listed would be available. We took a little time to go through the physical menus, which had lots of variety, though it felt a bit overwhelming. My husband ordered the strawberry ricotta crêpe, and I ordered the eggs Benedict: $37 with tip. We chose to sit outside on the patio since we had our infant with us. We placed our order at 9:04. By 9:20, I noticed it was taking a while, but I gave them grace since they were new. By 9:30, almost every table inside had their food and was already eating while we still hadn't received ours. When I went inside, the manager initially thought our order had already been served. Once I explained, he realized we were outside and said they couldn't see us sitting out there. He reassured me the food would be out soon. When our food was finally brought to us, (about 7 minutes later) it was immediately clear that it had been sitting out the whole time. The English muffin and crepe were soggy, and everything was cold. We were starving, so we ate it, but the quality was very disappointing. What made it worse was the lack of communication or apology. We were left waiting and forgotten about, and no one ever checked back in. We truly had high hopes for this spot and wanted to love it. Hopefully, these issues are just growing pains while they work out the kinks, but based on our experience today, we left more disappointed than anything else. read more
