Had a late afternoon dessert/Matcha break after shopping in the area. My friend wanted Matcha so I remembered this place expanded and would be a nice respite. I'd never been to this location, only the Blanco/1604 location. We were seated by Anushka, a really sweet waitress. We were surprised because you were supposed to order from the counter, pay and you'd pick up your order once it was completed. Now you're served your orders. Our Matchas came first and were packaged in a clear, hard plastic cup with a pull tab top!! How cute is that?!! Anushka said the Matcha powder is slightly sweetened and isn't Ceremonial Grade so we didn't have high hopes but it turned out it was a nice balance of sweetness, creamy even though mine had Oatmilk and was not cloyingly sweet. We also ordered a Pistachio Crepe with a side of fresh, large blueberries. That was a nice balance to the sweetness of the crepe and Pistachio(?) Ice Cream. The crepe had a Dubai chocolate flavor, not that there was any milk chocolate but it may have been the combo of the white chocolate, Pistachio drizzle and chopped Pistachios. In any case, we gobbled that up with the blueberries that countered the sweetness. Anushka said we don't have to rush and we had a nice catching up as well as 2 other sets of people who stayed inside, socializing. The decor is super cute with 2 lush, pink cherry blossom faux trees and lavender/pink flower walls which set the dainty/girly ambiance. Lots of seating and there are 2 bathrooms that are away from each other. One is around the corner of the counter area. I would like to try their other crepes and drinks. I stand 10 toes down by the place lol. My very time was an amazing. Upon arriving, the staff was so welcoming and helpful. My food was so delicious and they were even gentle when they came by to get my dishes. I wet during the day on a weekday and it was pretty chill and quiet. We had a chocolate dip plate platter of melted chocolate and assorted fruits and marshmallows. The fruit was fresh and the chocolate was amazing. We also had their smoked salmon crepe. I only came in for a drink and got their passion fruit lemonade. The cashier was kind to help me with my order because I was worried the drink would be too sweet. So he offered to make it less sweet. Cortado was good, and I appreciate the sizing. Served in kind of a double shot glass with just enough cream to do it right. Both coffees were tasty, though I think some dried lavender might elevate the cup. The crepe was on the thicc side making it 3 portions worth of food, but well worth the cost. We came here on a Saturday for brunch after our short trip to the Enchanted Rock . It was very busy and there were so many people we could hardly get any table . My husband ordered the Spicy Southwest omelette and he loved it so much . He says it was filling with some small bits of steak in the omelette while I order the Salmon Crepes , it was good and filling . I had the hazelnut ice coffee which is average . Went there on a Friday hang with friends. It's super cute and the staff were friendly. I LOVED the to go "cups" for the cold drinks. My drink - Matcha, was good. My only complaint was that the toilet didn't flush so the bathroom felt dirty and there was no trash can- a sign on the bin said something like don't throw trash here- maybe they were out of bags? Unfortunate first time experience- probably wont return (luckily I dont live in the area) I understand if you have new staff but I tried to order an iced americano with half&half and everyone seemed confused..? And then handed me coffee mate cups. But they asked if I wanted whole milk for my other order.. so they had some kind of dairy- if you were out of one just offer something else!! Once I received my order they gave me just a cup of cold coffee- no ice. Cant even call that iced at this point. Plus if you order to go they seal everything with soda tops- so screw you if you got an issue with your order. A different employee did actually check and tell me they didnt have what I was asking for- after i got my order of course. Pricing on their online menu is also different than the store- paid 16 dollars plus tip for two coffees large when the website says a large americano is 4.99 and a mocha is 5.99- when i paid 6.99 and 7.50 in store??? They seem like nice people and I hate to be a karen as a fellow food service worker but unfortunately thats the easiest damn drink to make and modify- and im not even a barista dude. Bar literally in the floor yall. You can make a mocha, a frappe, freaking crepes- but not an americano with milk. Or even communicate that you dont have something when a customer is ordering! I found my new favorite crepe place! Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here! I went with a couple of friends to Kaffeinated a few days ago and we were all floored by how delicious this café was. The place was super clean and I really loved the floral ceiling and sleek vibe. Despite there only being one staff member to take and prepare orders, he was very quick and everything came out perfectly. I ordered the Apple Cinnamon Crepe and a Matcha Latte with Almond Milk. The Matcha Latte was ABSOLUTELY delicious. It was super smooth to drink with lovely floral notes to it, had a delicious foamy layer on top, and was crafted beautifully overall. It also paired wonderfully with the Apple Cinnamon Crepe which tasted just like an apple pie. The apple slices were so tender and held all of the cinnamony goodness so well, the crepe was so soft it melted in my mouth, and the caramel drizzle on top enhanced the overall dish. I was also able to try a bit of the Caramel Waffle as well and it was easily the lightest waffle I've ever had. We're already planning a return trip to try out the savory and breakfast menus. I was in the area and stumbled across this place and I'm so glad that I did. I was looking to grab a quick bite to eat and this place definitely offers a wide selection from drinks to food. I opted for the iced caramel coffee with the avocado egg toast. The food portion was definitely worth my money spent! Finally made it this Saturday afternoon to the new location of Kaffeinated Crepes and Coffee on 1604, and let me just say, it was worth the wait! We've been craving their crepes for a while, and it didn't disappoint. After a late lunch, it was the perfect cheat weekend treat. I indulged in half of the Triple Chocolate Crepe, which didn't spike pd my sugar levels as much as I expected--a pleasant surprise! The crepe wasn't overly sweet, likely because they used a higher ratio of dark chocolate. Next time, I'll ask to have the white chocolate on the side, or skip it altogether. Still, it hit the spot without being overwhelming. This new location is much bigger, and we were lucky to arrive just after the brunch crowd had cleared out (around 3:30 PM). However, more people started coming in as we were leaving, so it's clear this spot is becoming a popular destination. The ambiance here is charming. There's a huge artificial cherry blossom tree (I think that's what it is!) and giant butterflies in a lighted glass display--it all adds to the cozy, welcoming vibe. The warm and friendly staff rounded out yet another wonderful experience for us. Same delicious crepes, waffles, and coffee, but with a fresh new location to enjoy. So I really love the vibe in here visually but there are a few places for improvement. I wanted to bypass the reviews that complained about the service but they're not wrong. The service could definitely be better. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, and when I was finally acknowledged the staff member was very dry and gave me very vague answers to my questions about the drinks and I had to keep asking for more detail. This is not the first time I've been in here, just the first time I got something because the previous time it was taking so long I left. I ended up ordering the Turkish Coffee which is made by placing a little brass pitcher in the hot sand pit then adding a powdered mixture to it and placing it back into the hot sand pit. Though my eyes literally watched it boiling in the sand pit when I poured it to drink, it wasn't as hot as I expected which was weird. It was also strange to me that the Turkish Coffee is supposed to be their strongest coffee drink (according to the young lady helping me) but it was a powdered mixture, not brewed . . . The overall taste was not bad but when I poured out the rest of the coffee into my cup it was very thick and tasted a bit gritty as if a bit of sand got in it. (Or course pieces of the mixture that didn't dissolve, not sure.) I didn't try any of the crepes but I'm willing to go back and try them again, maybe a different coffee drink and a crepe. Overall it is a very cute place, great for pictures or to just sit and relax with a friend over a coffee or tea. read more

Once we were helped, we a classic cold brew w/ sugar-free syrup and a passion fruit tea. Both drinks were made and put into these can style cups which was fun. I did think the can was a bit impractical although it was aesthetically pleasing because it made it difficult to add creamer and sweetener into it. Additionally, it was hard to get out the last sips. I've died and gone to a sugary Kaffeinated heaven! So far I've tried both their cold and hot coffees and can't go wrong with either. I fell in love with their lavender latte and have often started my day with this warm tummy hug. The chocolate fountains are beautiful and can't wait to come try some strawberries dipped in this yumminess. Today I'm doing a mocha Frappuccino and they have got me sold. Several of the coffee spots around here have a problem with consistency, but not these guys! The customer service and quality continues to astound me. When I have more time I love to sit inside their beautifully decorated seating area. The flowers coming from the ceiling and walls make me feel like I'm in a beautiful dream I never want to wake up from. What more can a girl ask for?! "Valentine's Visit" Because I was flying out of town on Valentine's Day for a mini-Vacation, my friend and I decided to have a quick treat at Kaffeinated Crepes and Coffee. After a successful "5 Star Visit" before, I passed at the option to try another local restaurant as I wanted something light and sweet. The Meal: My date ordered a simple milkshake and I decided to order the chicken alfredo crepe with a small side salad. While the pictures pull you in, the dry, hard morsels of meat within the crepe made we wish I had run to the other way to the other establishment. The crepe was made well, but the meat and mushrooms seemed like they came directly out of the freezer. It was tasteless. And to make it worse, the dry meat was also accompanied by an almost as unappetizing alfredo sauce. I was literally perplexed at the inconsistency of the non-homogenous ingredients. On my last visit, I enjoyed a warm chocolate/marshmellow waffle with a delicious shake and this time, I was pushing hard meat from side to side on my plate (photos attached). This meal was a "Fail". Even the salad dressing was off putting. Normally, I quickly get up to return food that taste bad or is underwhelming, but my date seemed to be enjoying his shake and I didn't want to destroy the Valentine's vibe. I was highly dissatisfied and saw so many opportunities for improvement. Obviously, I'm sure they aren't grilling chicken in the back, but some shredded chicken (dark or light meat) could have been so much better. While replacing the meat morsels could have moved the Star power in the right direction, the off-putting Alfredo that the crepe soaked up like a sponge moved it right back in the LEFT direction. I don't know who accepts responsibility, but hopefully this review is read, and a possible change made in the preparation of this dish. Perhaps savory is a hard pass and chocolate, and waffles may be the only route going forward for me. I did enjoy my date, the ambience and photo wall and will try again in the distant future... I understand a decent wait time for food to come out when a place is busy, however, one particular food runner (she was not wearing a uniform) was very rude, handed my husband his tea and said "ehhh the syrup is at the bottom, so I guess just shake it up". She then took the number sign from the table even though we were still waiting for another plate and my coffee. We were already done eating and I still did not receive my coffee so I very politely asked the person at the register. Waited another 10 minutes and didn't receive it so I asked for a refund. The manager did give me my refund but I was surprised by the lack of accountability when I first asked for my coffee as I figured they forgot since it was busy. I was met with a "well...
