I think the restaurant was cute and adds some variety to the restaurants in this area. We had the chicken pesto crepe, tres leches and Dubai chocolate crepes. The crepes themselves were nice but the balance on the crepes was off. Way way too much veloute sauce on the chicken pesto, the chicken was drowning in what would have otherwise been tasty. The tres leches was tasty, I thought the Dubai chocolate was a little bit too much kunafa compared to the pistachio cream so it was dry and you could still see the individual Phyllo pieces throughout. I think the individual components were tasty but not balanced well so that took away from the meal a fair amount. For a relatively quiet day, service was a little slow and prices were a little high. I have hopes that as they get a little more established, things get better/consistent. read more

I'm conflicted on my opinion of Crepeccino The good(ish): Food was delicious. I had a French dip and it was messy (as it should be) and full of flavor. While the tomato soup was well balanced. However, the fries tasted like frozen store bought fries. Dry and bland thick cuts. This could be fixed with a better fry type and cooking a bit longer so they aren't so pale. The bad: For the aesthetic, being a place you order at the register and sit down felt wrong. The servers looked constantly confused, unable to find the table their plates went to. My sister ordered a coffee with her food but it didn't come. Mid-way through the meal she went back to the register to tell them. When staff couldn't find the ticket the manager had them make a new order. The coffee still didn't arrive until my party was already finished and about to leave. TLDR: It's good food but the service is so poorly trained and disorganized that it's disturbing. Especially given the high price of everything. read more

Not sure why the ratings aren't higher. I too was skeptical about this place but their food really delivered a taste sensation. The lemon crepe was amazing abd tha chai was delicious. The cuisine isn't meant to be just like every other diners. They even have a gentleman who walks the floor, checking in on guests. The only things I don't like are the cafeteria style ordering (would prefer sit down restaurant style), and that you have to go to a coffee bar to get your cream and sugar. Having said that, these are common practices at eateries around TX. I hive this pace 4 stars. read more

I was treated to lunch, and picked the California crepe. Smoked salmon, sour cream, avocado, onions, and smoked capers. Supposedly. They left out the capers. I checked every bite, no capers. The onion was overpowering the rest, they probably used white onion instead of sweet. Even 6 hours later, those onions are still with me. Wow. The employees all milled around with blank looks on their faces, like they did not want to be there. Some of the plating behind the counter was impressive, but none of it got to my entree or table. The "salad" on the side had pieces of lettuce and pepper that were much larger than bite size. I don't think that's a good way to serve salad: everything should be bite size. I asked for a water and was roughly pointed to a pair of large clear glass dispenser bottle next to an ice machine near the outer wall. For the high prices, small portions, and details missed, I won't be back. read more

Went last week when they had just opened for the day and the place was dirty!! Glass where they cook potatoes was so dirty that it had grease mark going down. The restroom it's all black and it shows clearly all the dirt and pee spots on floor and toilet. Didn't not smell clean or pleasant. Decided not give it a chance anyway and ordered huevos rancheros scrambled with a side of potatoes and coffee. The food was cold and even the coffee. I told the server that coffee was not even hot and he looked at me like he was lost and didn't care and left. Potatoes were not cooked throughly and tasted like strong vinegar. Food was low quality, didn't taste like homemade like the salsa which tasted like the "Tostitos " salsa. For the price which is really expensive, not being clean for a food place, it's not worth it. Poor customer service. I will not be back. I do not recommend. read more

A bit disappointed to be honest. The menu breakfast items are a little bit all over the place. I ordered the ranchero omelette and it was not right temp the flavors were different the sauce taste like out of a jar. The garnish aguacate was dark making the plate look really sad. The ambiance in this location was very inviting and makes you want to stay longer and enjoy a good coffee with some crepes. The downfall is that if you want to order something else you have go to the counter with one register and get in line. My experience it was about lunch time and 15 women looked like all employees on lunch break were in line asking for separate checks at this time I had waited 25 min to order crepes and coffee to extend the stay. Not a fan of the ordering at counter. Some advice, a very nice gentleman welcomed us he is already showing you the process and seating then you go to counter and order and then a staff member brings food to table. At the money of checkout you are asked to tip. Therefor it makes more sense to have a full staff waiting on tables system. Not a fan of the ordering at the counter because if anyone else wants something else you just get in line a little bit of a buzz kill. I was raving to my fam about the crepes and decided to get the for family in the afternoon. Went to the counter ordered two different crepes to go. The cooks looked like they were not putting love and any care to the food prep. I ordered crepe and it's banana/ strawberry and banana one gluten free and the other regular. One of the cooks made one the. Went to place in bag it sat in counter for at least 15 min before someone noticed after a different cook made what it looked to be a salad. He saw the receipt and realized it was missing a second order of crepes. He stated making the second order moving very slow again no care very chill. At this point I had waited I saw it was my order and grabbed it. I was charged over 37.00 with tip included. For two orders of cropes the first one was a lot larger then the second one very few slices of strawberries and 4 slices of banana the second one very small crepe no banana an 2 slices of strawberries. Not to mention I paid extra for bananas and extra for gluten free. Neither were labeled we had no idea of how to tell the difference. I was disappointed. Not sure if I will be back. read more

The food tasted like something from Sysco/Restaurant Depot (I.e., restaurant frozen food) and the restaurant didn't have fountain drinks/beverages, just self-served water. Considering the price we paid for our meal, I would expect better quality and service. This is a shame because Cibolo needs more cafe restaurants. read more

Went there with my wife for my birthday. 90 minutes later she had eaten finished HER meal and I still had not gotten mine. I told the waitress to just box my meal and ill bring it home. We waited an additional 30 minutes and she came out with thr box. We left and I got home and it was not my meal. Whatever it was, had dozens of olives and olive oil smothering some meat and the ougnant scent of olive when I opened the box. Whatever it was is not even on thr menu. I called and they said they would take ALL charges off my wife's credit card. 5 days later I had to call again, and was told a couple more days. In 2 more days they had only cut out half thr bill even though the made me wait 2 hours on my birthday for nothing (but sit around hungry and watching g my wife and every customer around me eat and leave). The restaurant was not packed. There was maybe 10 people in there. The staff just doesnt give two . I will NEVER go there again, and would not reccomend ANYONE to eat there either. They will likely mess up your order, or make you wait two hour AND not feed you and then only give you a 50% discount. Terrible service and terrible way to do business and to treat customers. Good luck getting what you paid for... I guess orders are just suggestions and then if they feel like giving you thr olives in olive oil special you only get half off. DON'T GO THERE!! Crepes: Cold. Adding fresh sliced strawberries as a side shouldn't affect the crepe's temperature. Thick and tough--hard to cut with a fork, unusual for actual crepes. Might as well have been a folded pancake.. Expensive for serving size. IHOP has better, IMO. Slow to get a plain coffee, and had to ask about where to get the hidden half and half and sweetener (not plentiful BTW)I guess because they'd rather push the fancier flavored drinks. Only willing to give more than one star because to be fair they are a new location but there's a lot to fix. read more

I've seen this place a few times because we go to Cibolo often and we heard that it was opened now, so my sister and I went to go try it for the first time there was no one in front of us so we walked right up, and the cashier left right when we got there not saying a word. Was a little weird but we overlooked it. We just looked at the menu. Then we were just waiting to order for a little bit and several employees walked past us even the lady that was at the cashier in the beginning. I thought she was busy so it was okay. But then she comes up to the cash register not making eye contact at all and starts looking at her phone, then she was doing something on the cash register and the other employee asked if she was getting our order, and she said "Oh no I'm clocking out" then looked up at us and said "sorry about that." First thing anyone has said to us the whole time that we were there. Then the other employee starts taking our order and my sisters gluten free and we asked if there was any gluten free options. She didn't know the answer and got I believe the manager. He started taking our order and apparently they do have a gluten free crepe but they were out of it. Then I order the Belgian crepe off the kids menu, he says "You have to be a kid." I'm well aware that it's called the kids menu so ideally it's for kids, but I'm a teen so I don't think it's obvious what my age is. I'm able to get items off the kids menu normally, and i prefer it because of proportion size. But he's telling me that I cant order it. I just look at him because personally I think if it's on the menu I should be able to order it. Then he walks away and now another man is taking our order because he got annoyed I'm assuming. Now we're on our 4th cashier and we asked if the soups had gluten. He doesn't know so he asked the chef he comes and tells us there's only one option that doesn't have gluten. He was the nicest out of them all, and helpful. So we ended up just trying out their coffee, my sister got the caramel frappe I got a frappe with hazelnut syrup. It took a little while for our coffee. While waiting the ambiance was cute, there was bay windows to sit at and booths in the walls. But there was someone sleeping on one of the booths. By booths it's like just the cushioned chairs in the walls. So someone was fully asleep horizontally at one of them. We found it uncomfortable. The music was quiet and the kitchen was quite loud. We got our coffee and both of our drinks didn't have too much flavor. The caramel frappe had a hint of caramel, so it wasn't too apparent that caramel. But the texture was nice and creamy. Mine unfortunately tasted like milk. I didn't want to go back there and exchange it cause ordering was not a pleasant experience. Though I wanted to like something so I went back and a new shift of employees got there much better service. She exchanged my frappe for a sea salt caramel frappe and I enjoyed it. I was excited to try it out and unfortunately it just sucked. We do plan to go again because we do like that there is a gluten-free crepe option so that's pretty cool, next time we'll have to try the crepes. And I'll be able to order what I want off the menu hopefully there's not a certain height requirement too. read more

Ugh I'm so torn as this place is super cute and still new, but our experience was just okay. They opened yesterday so I'm going to give them grace. The prices are high, about $20-$25 a person for a crepe and drink. Our total after tip for 4 was $100. My kids got a dessert crepe, husband got a breakfast plate, and I got a breakfast crepe. My kids had no issues, their crepes came out and they ate them up. About half way of their eating, my husband got his food. The portion was small, toast was thin and small, and just not living up to the pricing. They ate as I waited and waited. My crepe never showed up. I had to go ask for it and at that point I had to get it to go vs. rush eating at the restaurant. My crepe was good but I'd recommend maybe a side of pesto for the lacking flavor. I added some that I had at home and that helped. Otherwise the egg portion was good, not sure if I got more than usual due to not eating with my family. I'd be open to going back for lunch for 2 or maybe just a drink. I'm curious about the gelato too. I wish them all the best as it's great to have something different than fast food. read more
