I called their number, got a human immediately. He corrected the problem and called me back in 2 minutes to tell me it was fixed and I could place my order. It takes 5 minutes just to get past the bots on most customer service phone numbers to get to a human these days. If stores want to build loyalty and good will, it's simple - human connection - and value your customer's time. I needed different sizes in the dressing room, but she was too busy chatting up friends. I mentioned that I was going to be a pall bearer and she said "that's strange, women are NEVER pall bearers"....Poor old gal, she's stuck back in the '50's. Not a good human either. She tried to say my mother didn't remember what she was told by Mike last year when she ordered her shoes. My mother is elderly, not stupid. Seeing my mother upset infuriates me. The woman stopped helping my mother without saying a word. She started helping a woman whose business she wanted. I understand that you have the right to your policies, but I also have the option to spend my money elsewhere. I still like your store, but given when I have a free minute I walk my dog, it looks like our paths won't meet up. If NOAA and city communicated incorrectly, business should have a conversation with them. After we were able to rent paddle boards we did enjoy using them for the full time we rented them.
