I've been a regular at Crest for several years. But yesterday was a disappointment...enough for me to interrupt my chair massage and leave early. Granted, I was a walk-in, but they said they could accommodate my request for a 30 minute chair massage. All three of the chairs were in use, so they actually took me down to the basement where a couple more chairs were set up. Picture it: bright flourescent lights, employees in their break rooms rattling dishes and having conversations, at one point someone taking out the trash and leaving the door open, employees flushing toilets and walking around without any regard to a customer having a massage. At one point, I lifted my head to look at what all the noises were, and my massage therapist apologized and told the others to quiet down. But eventually, I gave up and cut it off. It was ridiculous. We came after a long day at the mall and they were so accommodating and were able to fit us in immediately. The wait was short even though they were busy they were efficient. Friendly people and relaxing atmosphere. Entire staff wore masks which made you feel safe. It's not easy work giving massages but the masseuses still worked really hard and ensure you get a great massage and never made you feel like they were in a rush. The only thing I'd say is that the foot massage area is a shared space with a door directly open to the check in desk so during the massage you can hear people check in and their entire conversation w the front desk so maybe closing the door would help next time. I have always enjoyed massages here because I love their deep pressure massage. Probably to protect the nails, she didn't use enough pressure. I went to Crest this evening and have been going for quite sometime. If I don't go there, I'll go to Bucca. First, I love reflexology but tonight was something else. I went in tonight and it wasn't busy, which I love. I sat down and a lady brought her toddler into the foot spa and the kid was quite rowdy. She was finishing within 10 minutes of my arrival so I didn't think much about it.(other than, why is a child here?) I was 15 minutes or so into my session and the man beside me, who obviously works there, was asleep in the chair, snoring!! Loudly! At this point I'm the only one there so it's very noticeable. I just tried to relax, but honestly couldn't. As I was leaving, I debated on addressing the issue and no sooner than I did, the owner farted so loud in the lobby in front of all his staff. I can not make this up. I hope you get a good laugh at this, because I am not relaxed and laughing so hard that I spend money on this. read more

AHHH is right! We were so lucky to stumble on this spa after a couple days of touring Nashville. Our dogs were howling. At 5:00pm on Saturday it was packed with customers. We made reflexology appointments to return at 8:30pm (stays open till 10:00). We were the only ones there. PERFECT AND PEACEFUL. Just the sounds of running water, new age music and our AHHHs. Both of our masseurs were FABOULOUS! Literally "on point". Be aware, they tend to be of the deep tissue variety.I mean good and deep, which I prefer. Starting with a soak, they go from shins to feet. The massage ends with pressure applied to the thighs, leg lifts then dropped. Sorta of weird if you have a dress on, which I did. :D Only the check-in guy seemed to speak English. Pricing is average. They have a menu of massage options. $35 for 30 minutes reflexology. If you are in Nashville, this is a perfect stop. I wish I was there now!!! read more

I went in because my legs hurt. Previous therapist fixed it with hip & glutes work. Why I let this woman work on my upper back for so long is beyond me. Not only am I pit $65 for the hour massage but I'm out the $15 tip so that's $80 I'm out not to mention the lost time where I will be missing work due to the fact I can't bend over or move properly. This was one of the worst massages I have ever had. I was told they do deep tissue and it wasn't deep. I don't even think these people are licensed massage therapist. It's not really a Massage as much as a rubdown. And I paid for 90 min. The lady did about 80 min and left the room 4 times after starting 12 min late. I asked For Specific areas to be worked that weren't focused on. At all. Hard to relax and just not a good "massage". And she checked her phone with one hand and massaged with the other hand for a good solid 5 min. When I say she checked her phone, she was reading articles or skimming/scrolling through social media. I had a fantastic massage by Cindy. I have had massages all over the world and I can honestly say she is as good as it gets. I had a 90 minute deep massage.. her hands are sensitive to what needs attention. She was able to work on my tense muscles and improve my circulation , help me stretch and find greater flexibility. The massage was ok, but the overall experience was a bit off putting . I didnt mind the language barrier as much as the lack of communication. We asked for 2, 30 min massages, one chair, one table, pretty basic. My daughter was directed to one room, then i was left wait, pointing to a couch w/o explanation.... awkward. Finally i asked if they were going to be at the same time or consecutively ( didnt have an hour to spend) finally i was told two wait 2 min. (The host spent most of the time looking at his phone) finally made it to the room and the masseuse left, so i just stood there as I wasn't sure what the protocol was. She came back like 3 min later and asked if i was ready... i said for what? What was I supposed to do? My sciatic nerve was really bothering me, i brought it up 3 different times and only after i specifically asked did she work on it ( a little) ultimately about the same when I left as when i got there. Let me start by saying that this place was very accommodating, good for large groups, very nice and reasonably priced. That said, I went with my girl friends in June. We all got the foot reflexology and about half of us got the chair massage. Chair massage: They rubbed us raw, literally, skin came off. Leaving we were all in more pain and in need of relaxation then when we came in. I was sore and stiff the next morning. I've received massages before and nothing like this has every happened to me. Foot Reflexology: While much more relaxing then the chair massage, it hurt to walk after. For at least two weeks after it felt like I had a pinched nerve in one of the areas that really hurt when he worked on it. I almost went to the doctor to get it checked out, but decided to do another soak and massage in NY, which helped a lot. Leaving their I really have to question if all of their employees are certified to practice. You can seriously injure someone if you don't know what you're doing. I have been here to this store several times and I do not plan on coming back. The most recent visit was in late September. They always try to get you to stay longer and then trick you into spending more money. I only have so much time and money to spend so please do not tell me what I need in order to feel better. I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke and the guy smelled strong with smoke it made me almost throw up. Excellent massage. Quiet and clean. It's important to know these guys have mastered the art of the hustle and use their lack of English to their advantage. So, if you only want a 45 minute massage, tell them you want 15 minutes then they will think it's their idea that they talked you into 45 minutes and you won't leave feeling scammed. I came in for a 30 minute reflexology and was up-sold to 55 minutes in a way that felt dishonest and uncomfortable. I chose not to tip because I had come in to spend $35 and left spending $60, so the guy "sad puppy faced" me and begged for a tip, which he did not receive. Not an enjoyable experience. The masseuse did not listen when I originally told them I would like a 30 minute chair massage. He then kept prying and trying to add more time in attempt to charge more, stopping twice to whisper in my ear and urge me that more time was necessary. He purposely did not complete the shoulder and neck portion of my chair massage in order to leverage more time. Once we moved to another chair he started massaging my arms and asked, "this ok?" After I replied yes, he then quickly said 20 more mins. I had to force myself off the chair and end the session. It was very unprofessional. Not to mention the place carried an immense odor. This is THE best place for foot massage! I am a runner so i go weekly to see Geoff after a long run and i have never been better in regards to being injury free. The massage helps keep my legs and feet super healthy. Not only do i get the best foot rub in town (and i have tried quite a few...) but they are the nicest and most professional folks. This place is legit. Today is the second time my bf and I treated ourselves to some foot & neck rubs at Crest Spa, and again, they delivered. They worked out all kinds of knots I didn't even know I had and I feel a lot less tense because of it. I wouldn't go into this experience expecting something similar to the Omni spa...there's no patchouli oil, candles or frills, which is fine by me! I would go into it expecting a deep tissue awesome rub down that leaves you feeling wayyy better than when you arrived. The massage therapist was a man, his name is something like "Geoff." It was as advertised by the reviewer - no frills, simple place but excellent deep tissue chair massage that worked on my knots and tension areas of upper back, very good value for the price. My masseuse's hands smelled heavily of cigarette smoke -- of which he then rubbed all over my face and neck -- disgusting.
