I created a Yelp profile just to leave this review, something I have never done before and will likely never do again. This place is by far and away the WORST apartment complex I have ever had the misfortune to live in. Sometimes you need a pros/cons list to really drive the point home, so lets do it. Pros: The view The location Maintenance guys are cool Cons: Noise. You want to develop some full-blown schizophrenia? Live here!!! You will hear EVERY sound. Every step from your neighbor, every bark from their dog, every cry from their kid. I weather stripped my doors to minimize sound and it accomplished nothing. I have been woken up after 2 am more than 20 times (I stopped counting at 20). As I type this, I can hear the cars outside, my neighbor above me stomping, and my neighbor's kids across screaming. I had to buy a $150 noise-cancelling wireless headset for some sanity, and I STILL hear my neighbors. Absolute auditory purgatory. Price. I could've lived in some run down ghetto somewhere else in the state and had better value. Unbelievable waste of money. Oh, and the fine print on the contract? Yeah read that, if you pay your rent late 1 time you will owe them $500+ extra per month the rest of your contract. Didn't happen to me because I saw it, but fair warning. Construction. The place where my wall meets the floor has detached in almost my entire living room/hallway. Everything feels old and outdated except the counters. Guess what that means? Bugs!! I used electrical tape to cover the gaps to eliminate the infestation, and for the price this is straight up offensive. Flooring. The hardwood has the quality of abandoned 90s wood thrown out the back of a factory. The "carpet"? Might as well be hardwood too because its not comfortable, warm, or soft. All in all, I severely regret living here. I'm financially worse off with no distinct luxuries to have backed it up, and the next apartment I am moving into is the -exact opposite- of this place in every single way. Maybe if you can get a top floor it -might- be worth it, as for me, it was the worst living experience of my life, and I would not recommend this complex to anybody. read more

If I could I would give 0 stars to this place! It's sh.....ty place!!!! Never ever will recommend to rent these apartments!!! This is kids NOT friendly place at all! But actually you will find lots of dogs poops everywhere! The main manager is a F...B..., yes, Jessica, I'm talking about you and I hope you read it! They are taking away your property without any notice even and when you are asking to get it back they just kick you out with words- it's business decision! But if your AC will be broken when it over 80F outside, they will fix it "immediately"... like in a month. They also don't care about broken equipment in the gym, broken hot tubs for the last two years, they never ever cleaned their vents and your ceiling will have dirty black spots by air vents, but they really care about forgotten by kids toys on the grass! You also will not be able to park your trailer on the additional big parking lot that always empty and you can't keep your bike or scooter under stairs during summer. Actually your kids even can't ride their bike on the territory of these apartments. Also they can't draw with chalks on a sidewalk. I'm really happy to move out of here! I never met so disrespectful people like these! And a message to the owner- this was the biggest mistake to hire Jessica for this job, she will not bring new residents to this place, she will make it even worse!!!! read more

The Owners AND Management should know, as of 11/3/2024 we have vacated the premises. Left the keys on the counter and cleaned the apartment. We took lots of photos from the filth we moved into. Photos of the mice and feces and of the clean empty apartment we left, dated and time stamped. We have had enough of sharing our apartment with non paying residents. Since we informed management(Kelsey) several times back before July of our mice infestation and how we are seeing them creep and crawl all over the place day and night, we have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars ourselves to try to remedy this and for clean up. Why? Because Kelsey informed us after sending maintenance out a couple of times with little paper traps, there was nothing else she could do. When I told her because of the health issues I was developing on top of my permanent disabilities due to cleaning up carcasses and feces constantly, that if this was her position I would have to call the health department she began yelling at me and telling me to stop making threats to her. An hour later a maintenance employee and construction crew showed up to tell us that the building had knowably (before we moved in) been shifting from its foundation. This leaving huge gaps and probably the source of the infestation. I have taken lots and lots of video and pictures. Spoken to neighbors who although we were told by management that we were the only rodent issue, neighbors say they are infested as well! It's a HUGE health risk and violation. Not to mention the unsafe building itself. It is our understanding that the previous and other tenants have moved for the same unresolved issues. New tenants immediately addressing the same issues as well. Disgusting! I only leave a star because the views are amazing! read more

Location is great however, I highly would recommend you going somewhere else you average spending for a 2 Bedroom including utilities is $1700 a month. My husband and I moved in Nov 25 and since then we spent 1625-1750 we both work 12 hr shifts and are barely home. We ensure we turn off all the lights and we still had a utility bill that was over $400 including the bill from Cresthaven. Our fireplace is broken and that may have something to do with what's going on. But if we are wanting to leave and is $2500 plus a 2800 in rent with a 60 day notice. read more

This is an update for the review below. After speaking with management, a solution has been worked out. Like I mentioned before, the team here is great and while they aren't the ones who made the building floors, and can only do so much about noise levels, the definitely do all they can and it shows. I stand by my thoughts on getting a 3rd floor unit and will hopefully be able to update this to 5 stars once I move into my new unit here. My suggestion would still be to review the card of service that is going to be placed in the tenants mail box at the end of the month outlining all fees contacted to water and garbage so there is no hidden surprises. Other than that, the places are nice and other than thin floors would say the complex is pretty great. It helps the stay is amazing, like I said my previous review was of the building not the actual management team. So if you do give CH a look, connect with the team and go with a 3rd floor unit. -------------- I would necessarily call these luxury apartments as some of the reviews on here state. In reviewing the properties show room apartment, it seems like it would be a "luxury" apartment but the actual units are far from that. When I moved into these apartments in February I was so excited to be in such an amazing space, with gorgeous "Mountain Views" and close to work but living in this building has caused more sleepless nights and disturbance than when I lived next to a train in San Francisco. The floors are all hardwood, which in a building such as these, you would think there would have been a layer of sound proofing material to eliminate noise in between the unit floors but that doesn't exist. Despite multiple emails to the leasing staff, the neighbors up stairs continue to run their dog, and small child at all hours of the night with no regard to the "sound ordinance" that the buildings management team has tried to implement. The running shakes my entire unit. A west elm lamp has already falling off a shelving unit and broke due to the shaking. When I moved in, a lot of things were not clean. The dishwasher was pretty dirty, there were nicks in walls, and the sink in the kitchen had a grime over the actual water spout which to this day makes it difficult to turn the faucet left and right. The staff is very nice, and when I put in a request to have a large bee hive that looked like it had been hanging out for years removed, they were on top of it. They are quick to respond to inquiries but unfortunately not much they can do about the building since they didn't build it. It's a fine place if you get a 3rd floor unit I'm sure but anything below sucks unless don't care about mini earth quakes every 6 mins. Agree with the post that says they do not do a good job at stating which fees are to be expected in the rent. Water and garbage are not included, which I knew, but there are multiple fees which make no sense included on a tiny card they place in your mailbox each month. None of that was explained in writing or verbally. So expect to pay about 120+ for just water, garbage and the random fees depending on usage. Again, that doesn't include your energy and electric bills which are separate. I'm also paying for internet cable and phone which you must set up though the complex because its what they've contrathe rent, and the internet service is terrible. It's slow and they don't provide whom they have their service from so no clue how to trouble shoot anything. Causing me to have to go to a cafe to work at times since some days I'm remote. Multiple times a day I think of breaking my lease because the noise is unbearable and the sleepless nights make me unproductive at work. Counting the days until either the elephants upstairs move or I get so fed up I peace out and just buy a house already. Highly suggest if you do move here that you get a top floor unit. read more

This review was not supposed to chastise crest haven but rather to act as a warning for future tenants, If I can help 2 or 3 new prospective tenants make an informed decision and save them from a management which can't waive 5 days during a world crisis, then the review would have served its purpose. Its located very close to all central places and most big tech companies in Lehi. It's also a convenient drive to Salt Lake City and Provo, Orem. Alas, the OWNERS are a greedy bunch. I lost my job because of covid 19 on April Friday 3rd 2020. My lease was going to end at the end of the month April 30th and I had full intention of renewing the lease I like this place. But because of the news, I couldn't and I missed the 60-day notice window by 5 days, not on purpose. I begged the management to consider my situation but they didn't and now I have to pay 90 days of rent because of something I didn't plan on occurring. I just wished they would have at least as courtesy allowed me to leave end of May this would have saved me a lot of money which I will need. The Rent is reasonable but the fees oh boy that's a different story. If your rent is x make sure you know you will be paying $x + $200 for ridiculous fees example real estate tax $15 + off course utilities Here are the fees per apartment. Off course some of these come under utilities. C.A.M. Fee - $37.55 Real Estate Tax - $15.33 Sewer - 43.02 (different for by Month) service fee - $6.00 Trash - $12.00 Water - $22.63 (different for by Month) Cable Television - $50.00 Internet Access - $35.00 Telephone - $25.00 PDLW - $10.00 This is a great location to be in. There are multiple other apartment complexes around this area. My suggestion do your homework and have them compete. Parking costs $100 extra, with which you're paying the complex to police the lot and sticker or tow vehicles with expired registration. This is said to deter abandoned vehicles, however leaving boats parked across multiple parking spots is allowable, an allowance utilized by multiple tenants to the detriment of others. The complex also locks tenants into a $100 phone & data package w/ Veracity. Averages 3-4 M/sec, well under the already low promise of 10 M. Also, you're locked into Dish (non-HD, 1 TV, no DVR) and it'll cost an addt'l $45 to remedy its shortfalls. The state of common areas is sub standard. Shoveling of snow doesn't happen until after tenants leave for work, at around 10 AM. Also general cleaning of hallways and stairways has yet to happen since opening. That soda spill on the stairway last January? Still there. Same goes for the food & condiments spilled on benches & tables. Rain is the only cleaning. But hey, there's a cool clubhouse you can pay $300 for the right to use before 9:00 PM, so they've got that going for em. read more

I can agree with Kevin, they do add in a lot of expenses that don't give enough value for the price. That is a major consensus among a lot of neighbors who are moving out. (Which is a lot) I will say, they have been pretty fast when I need repair service and the apartments inside are fairly nice. I also did get a "tow sticker" on my car. I bought a brand new one so it had the temporary plate. Talk about a scam, I would have ripped them a new one if I got towed. They are NOT GOOD about salting the walks or shoveling. My pregnant wife has almost fallen multiple times. Not good. Recommendation: buy a house, or look somewhere else. read more

Absolutely love living here. Great location, amazing neighborhood, and super friendly staff! I typically don't like people but the staff is cool, I enjoy going to the leasing office just to say hi. Last year sometime there were some kids who got out of hand and I know it irritated a lot of residents. The management handled the situation professionally and kept everyone under control. In previous places I have stayed, getting something fixed is like pulling teeth and replacing something is impossible. But the maintenance at Cresthaven is does prompt, supreme, textbook work. And they are persistent about following up on any repairs! I have never even heard of that. The property is always in immaculate condition. Even after large wind storms come through and remove some shingles or fences they are promptly fixed. My wife and I are looking at building a home soon and we are both heartbroken at the thought of leaving here. It is our home. read more

This apartment complex is far from the claim of "luxury". Just because you charge luxury prices does not change the quality. The walls are paper thin so if you have a unit facing the busy road you will hear traffic all day and most of the night. Its a popular thorofare and you have a multitude of cement trucks, semis, loud motorcycles and a variety of souped up cars that love the rev their engines as they scream past. Upon moving in the apartment it was very dirty and it looked as if they threw together a quick clean crew and it showed. The carpet had paint all over the edges because of the shotty work the paint crew did. A Lot of things were not clean. All appliances were dirty, the dishwasher was dirty, there were nicks in walls, and the sink in the kitchen and all faucets in the bathrooms had grime over the actual water spouts which I found out later is hard water. The master bathtub is made out of a cheap plastic material that seems to attract all types of grime and dirt. I have had to make a daily ritual of cleaning the tub just to keep it looking somewhat presentable. The appliances are very low quality, probably the cheapest they could find. It takes multiple washes for clothes to get clean and most of the time the dishes still seem dirty. Trying to cook is hot or miss with the heat not being even and the fan does not suck up any of the smoke so the alarm goes off almost every time something is cooked. The air conditioner runs all day and all night long. I spoke to the office multiple times about this and their fix was a new filter which I had just replaced a week prior. There has been multiple issues with ants even after they claim to have sprayed the perimeters. I live on the 3rd floor!!! The pool and weight room was not accessible due to COVID but did we see a reduction in what were paying? NO we did not. They force you to buy a package with overpriced internet and dish network even though most people don't even watch regular dish tv any longer. They make you pay for a garage for $100 a month as well. This place nickle and dimes you for everything. If it weren't bad enough already I was laid off due to COVID19. During this process I was met with scepticism by the management team and was constantly harassed by email, phone call and notices being placed on my door even though I had never missed a rent payment in my life. One day I had everything worked out with a payment plan then the next day their policy had turned 180 degrees. Be sure to read the fine print about your lease they have it structured in a way that if you don't renew they charge you a $200 a month (month to month fee) along with jacking your rent up to (market value). Also you have to provide written notice of a 60 day move out day and you can't have the day prorated so it has to be through the end of the month otherwise you are out that money. They would not let me renew my lease for 6 months they said I had to renew until February and if i broke the lease I would have to pay a $3000 early termination fee. I wonder who is pocketing that money because it sure is not a true cost. One member of the staff is a snowflake (Karly I think) and has her feelings hurt easily and so I was reported to her supervisor. Apparently telling someone you already knew what she was about to say because you just heard her say it to the individual in front of you is an offense worthy of not letting you renew your lease. I spoke with Scott, the manager about this and he had no idea of the "event" in question but upon the snowflake retelling her grievance he had perfect recollection and attested to the severity of said incident. These people are fake and care nothing about the renters or what any of us have been dealing with. I was fed up with the local management team and tried to get a number to someone at corporate and the office said (google it) I'm sure you can find it. I fonal was provided the number after I called back and talked to the manager Scott. Scott then quickly called his supervisor and laid the foundation for their defense and quickly circled the wagons. I called Jory the supervisor multiple times and left multiple messages and after about a week and a half I got a call from the snottiest woman I have ever encountered. Needless to say Cresthaven employed individuals that personify their brand. DO NOT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!! read more

I lived there 14 mo. Upon inspection of the property not all appliances were cleaned well and was noted on the sheet. The carpet in front room smelled bad like cats had been there from previous renters. This information was given to the office multiple times, but upon move out time they wanted to charge $250 for pet cleanup and we NEVER had an animal in there. The office agreed to remove the fee if I paid in full the amount due. I have never left an apt without a full refund of deposit. The place looked better than when I moved in. The forced fee of $140 was a joke for internet that hardly worked and Dish Network for people who dont want to pay for services not wanted. That was a fee not talked about until lease signing. I feel they are not honest and vultures on your pocketbook. read more

We lived in Cresthaven Apartments from July 2015 until the end of March 2015. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The office staff is amazing! We felt so welcomed by Catherine when we first came and she continued to be a welcoming and warming presence for our entire time there. We had a couple of maintenance issues and the maintenance staff was prompt and courteous. Our apartment was clean as a whistle when we moved in and they cleaned it for us when we left for $100, which was a bargain. We were never surprised with any hidden or unexpected charges. The WiFi was excellent. When we left we were charged for the final utility bills, carpet cleaning (which they explained we would be charged for before we signed the lease) and the cleaning charge of $100. We did not have even one negative experience and we highly recommend Cresthaven apartments! By the way, the address is Traverse Mountain Blvd., not Treverse. read more

The apartment is not noisy from the neighbors and the grounds are nice. However, I am writing this for my sister and her disabled veteran husband as she is too distressed to write it herself. After a year of scraping to pay rent she signed another year lease so she wouldn't have to pay $200/month more. But she realized she can't keep this rent as she has lost two income sources due to Covid. Her new lease starts today 6/1/20 but the last two days were a weekend so office not available. If she changed her mind and cancelled 3 days ago she could just pay one more month rent and then leave. The office person wouldn't budge and let her cancel because she had "signed the contract." Now they say she has to stay two more months and not get her deposit and pay a $3K penalty so that would be over $8000 to stay two more months and then leave for a cheaper place. Disgusting no compassion policy. Obviously all about the money. Who cares if my sister and husband are in desperate despair and can't make their rent obligations, let alone the sick penalty. I'm sure they will be able to quickly rent their apartment since it is a ground floor so they won't be out anything. But lets hurt the renters who have to leave to survive. read more

The apartments are located in a nice and aesthetic area however, they aren't worth the price you pay. For a one bedroom, one bath the rent is around $1400 and that doesn't include electric and gas. They require you to pay for a phone and cable service which costs around $70. For the price you pay, the overall quality of the apartment isn't very well built. If you live in the bottom unit, you can hear your neighbors walking in the unit above you. Essentially, they seem to just be in it for the money. read more

The Good: The staff is super friendly and useful. People have complaint about hidden fees. I have lived here for almost 2 months and all the fees that were explained in the contract is what Im getting charged nothing extra. Maintenance does a great job when you need something fixed (One of my favorites ) Internet is super fast you can use your own router not like other places that make you use their complex WIFI. Its part of the media package which is $35.00 out of the $100. Which to be honest is a great price for the speed you are getting. You will need to have a decent router. Tons of open parking space for visitors (I lived in downtown SLC and this was a huge problem) Dog friendly :) Apartments are big and walls are thick . Also the property is very clean. The Neutral: TV has a lot of channels and its $40.00 out of your $100 for media package, if you want HD you have to add at least 10 bucks extra, which is normal with all the cable companies I believe. I wish Crest-haven could cut a deal with dish about it. You have to get a garage which is super convenient specially in winter, but paying $100 for a garage I think is a bit too much, I wish instead they had assigned cover parking and pay less every month I wish the had sort of a fenced area for dogs like a dog park I think this is possible since there is tons of space. The Bad: Your media package include a land line and you have to pay $25 out of your media package... really a land line ? 1999 call and they want their landlines back read more

I've lived in Cresthaven Luxury Apartments for 2 years now. It has been a great experience for me. Everything I need is within a five minute drive of the complex. The pool area is amazing and very well kept during the summer, and the hot tubs are open year round. I really enjoy the leasing officers as well. My last complex had college kids running the property and it was a disaster. The leasing officers in Cresthaven actually listen and act when a request is made. My air was out once and was fixed by day's end. Neighbors are friendly and everyone tends to stick to themselves. Great for families but there are young single adults here as well. Very diverse! This is an amazing apartment complex and I would recommend that anyone looking for an apartment should consider Cresthaven Luxury Apartments. read more

I've been living here with my daughter for the last three months. I cannot trust the management or staff. They lied to me about how quiet the apartments are when I sat down with them to negotiate the lease. My daughter has a heart defect and the only thing I requested was a quiet apartment. Seven leasing agents (including management) were dishonest about how the windows are double paned and the walls are thick. They decided to stick me up against the busiest road and "guaranteed" me that it would be quiet. I hear every car, motorcycle, semi, truck, and loud noise from traverse mountain road. The staff also harassed my daughter's cardiologist to have him verbally verify that he signed their required documents. His office manager confirmed that they were attempting to break Hippa rules. When I asked to be moved to a different and quieter apartment, the management waived the $500 fee but, still estimated that it will cost me about $400 for cleaning fees to move out. This place is the absolute worst! Every apartment is charged with a technology package that is $130 per month and it is required. I would recommend to stay away from this complex and go somewhere else. I am looking forward to moving out. read more

Living here was the absolute worst experience it possibly could have been. The worst part about it is the management and how awful they were. The apartments seem nice but the whole complex is settling and falling apart. Our apartment was in bad shape and they took forever to send someone to fix even minor things. On top of that, the apartments have wood floors which look wonderful. But beware because nothing dulls the sound of even walking. Also be prepared for there to never be parking available. It's a decent place to live, but I think classifying it as "luxury" is a bit of a stretch. Appliances and fixtures (electrical and plumbing) are very basic and even more on the cheap end and not the most efficient out there. The apartments are fairly spacious and laid out well. There are places out there, however, with much larger garages that have extra storage space in addition to car space. There is ample parking on the property, so your guests never have to park on the street (illegal anyways in thos area). Intrusions by staff and maintenance happen far more often than any other place I've stayed at. Staff is pretty friendly and have been pretty responsive to most issues. Overall, I think it's a decent place to live, but a bit on the expensive side for what they classify as "luxury" though. If you happen to take a tour, just pay attention to the details and ask yourself if that's what you'd expect in a luxury home. read more

We Started living at Cresthaven when it was brand new. At first it was an excellent place to live. We were drawn to the apartments because the rent was reasonable and the management was wonderful. However, since the management changed, things have been getting progressively worse. The management is well aware that their reputation is poor and even sent around a notice on each door asking us to go to rating sites and rate them high. Management is dishonest and punitive. The on-site manager does not know what he is taking about and has been caught several times by myself and others giving incorrect information. Beware hidden fees at the time of move in and move out, your total rent bill will likely not be what you were told it would be. The apartments are very poorly made, so that the noise is very bad, we could hear everything from our neighbors. Beware the apartments in the back, which are falling apart, and construction makes it so that you will have no place to park and will have to take a serious detour just to get to your front door. I have always tried to be positive, or at least not say anything negative, but people need to know what is going on at this place. I wish I could rate them higher. read more

I love the location! What makes it a rough spot are all of the policies. There are several rules and guidelines that aren't enforced and others that are. For example, the website mentions a dog park that isn't there--but people moved in believing that it was. So they were going out in the evenings and letting their dogs run in a back corner field. They were all fined for having their dogs off leash. The apartments are so loud, random fees show up all of the time on my rent, the pool is half the size it should be for the number of residents--not that I would swim there anyway. The pool just happens to be a place where rules aren't enforced so its covered in babies without swim diapers and every kid has 5 squirting toys so you're constantly being splashed. Staff have come in without warning several times. Luckily, the guy that does maintenance is nice and trustworthy, but still not a good policy to have. I could go on and on. Historically, I've had good experiences with landlords until it came time to move out and I was nickled and dimed for everything, and taken advantage of despite being a great tenant. Cresthaven is the FIRST complex in my 10 year history of renting that I've had a great experience from move-in to move-out. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs as a renter. They are quick to respond to any inquiries and do all that they can to ensure you enjoy your time at Cresthaven. The move-out inspection was fair and reasonable (they actually remember you've been living in the unit and don't treat you like it should be BRAND NEW) The units themselves are great and the location couldn't be better. If you're looking to rent in that area, Cresthaven is a safe bet. I've read many reviews where they feel everything came with an extra charge, but in my experience (especially with the new complexes) that's pretty standard at any complex you go to. They are upfront about it, so there shouldn't be any surprises after you sign your lease. read more
