I set an appointment with this company to get a bid on redoing my front yard as well as building a wall to subdivide an internal room. It was pretty easy to set an appointment and everyone I spoke to in their office was nice and helpful. The problems really arose when their employee came to my house. He didn't seem very knowledgeable about what I needed and the prices. He didn't really go though many options about anything with me, including the rebates (which had been discussed over the phone with the office) and then would shy away from giving me definite pricing about anything, instead saying things like maybe 3 to 5,000 as a 'quote'. He then proceeded to do the high pressure sales move and when I told him I was getting other bids he looked disappointed and started negging the condition of my roof in a very condescending way. I just wanted to know what he would charge for some landscaping and a drive way expansion and never really got a straight answer about it. His attitude changed dramatically when, after some irrelevant probing questions, he found out I was jewish. Very unprofessional. read more

Had turf and some nice rocks installed in the backyard. Also had drywall repaired in one of our bedrooms due to a previous leak in our roof. Crestmark did an excellent job!! Sam was our project manager. He come out in a timely manner and asked us exactly what we wanted and even added some of his own ideas to help us out. Within a couple days after Sams visit and estimate the crew got started on the work. These guys know what they're doing. It took a few days for all the work to be completed and they showed up on time every day. Sam would also stop by to check up on the progress and make sure we had all our questions answered. Once they completed the work they did a great job making sure everything was cleaned up and looking great. We even qualified for zero percent financing for 18 months and received a nice rebate. When Francisco was with them it was wonderful. We had a roofing and rain gutter job done. Extremely professional and done on time. I would have given them 5 stars. We had one rain gutter problem. ONE. And we could never get anyone to come out to replace the ONE rain gutter. We have made phone calls and emails per their request. No one would either call back, write back or come out and fix the ONE rain gutter. We had the roof done in August! Francisco left the business. Do not go there. read more

It's a shame really. Samuel came and was my best buddy. We had 58,000.00 worth of work done. There are two areas which need further attention,but now they are nowhere to be found. We had a dirt backyard our front yard wasn't much better. We were told when the work was done, the rebate check comes right as the work is finished. They finished in May. It's now August and no check and Samuel now is nowhere to be found, and the office will, "Have someone call us right back... for the third time." My wife and I have both called. With that rebate check we wanted a large light installed where our RV is now parked, and a door from the garage to the RV installed. A shed was also mentioned as a drum studio for me. Nothing. Samuel was very attentive at first. We had a gate installed for our RV, and a patio cover so we could enjoy a barbeque, or just relax in the shade. We signed all papers with finance. We were approved immediately. It took 4 weeks for them to paint the gate which was frustrating. I'd be willing to give them more stars if they'd keep their promises, but like most construction companies it's been like pulling teeth. We are now retaining an Attorney and sue for Unfair Business Practices, and Fraud, as we now are told the accountant who handles State Rebates is not taking callsRight There are weeds coming up from the ASTRO Turf, there are two mounds rising and a Boulder we paid for was Never installed in our front yard. If I could give a negative 5 review I would. Terrible customer service. A 2 week job is ending up at over a month. Workers won't show up for days and when they did, they stood around for long periods wasting time. The original scope of work and estimate was not met, we had to cut down on certain items to compensate for their estimated cost errors. Such sloppy work and no care in the world what they damaged. Such as a broken pipe, tons of trash left over by the workers just laying around and broke some of our patio furniture and planters. We were also supposed to get a significant going green rebate, which no funds were ever given to us. We will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Crestmark Construction did a great job in our yard! Francisco was fast in responding to a request for a quote on pavers in our backyard. He came out and showed us on his iPad what the job would look like completed. We were not planning on doing anything in the front yard but the price was way less than we would have thought to put the artificial turf down at the curb front. We couldn't be happier with the work done. They were fast and cleaned up everything nicely. I highly recommend giving Francisco a call, you will not be disappointed in their work. read more

We've given this company over $80,000 for three different projects at our home. The first project was to install new Lennox A/C unit and replace old furnace in the basement. Project went well, was finished in a timely manner and we were supposed to receive $3000 from So Cal Rebates. Never received the rebate and since Samuel completed the application on his iPad, we have no paperwork trail to see if the application was filed or the status of our check. Next project was over $40,000 to install pavers under the new A/C unit and in another location in our backyard and correct the foundation at the rear of the home. New wood was supposed to be treated for termites and we have no evidence this was done. The pavers are still not installed under the new Lennox A/C unit and a stack of pavers is sitting on the curb since JUNE. Plus the paver installers knocked out our landscape lighting and an electrician has never come to our home to address this problem. And the contractor who did the foundation work was not paid by Crestmark and threatened to put a lien on our home. The third project was to paint the exterior of the home over $15,000. There is now paint all over our new pavers! Samuel also promised several things which he now refuses to put in writing such as Free Windows with installation, Free painting of our laundry room and bathroom. According to the So Cal Rebate program, the contractor needs to be In Good Standing with the Better Business Bureau. Looks like Crestmark is NOT accredited so I have a feeling there will be no rebate checks coming. read more

This is a very shady business but you don't have to take just my words for it because I have pictures. We gave Crestmark 3 different projects totaling $100k. The projects started in January of this year and I am still dealing with the aftermath of having hired them today. My sales rep is Nicholas. My husband and I really liked Nicholas at the beginning hence the reason we handed him one project after another. We thought we could trust him. Half way into the landscaping project another contractor working on our pool alerted us of serious mistakes being made by the Crestmark crew. Nicholas waved this off, said our pool contractor didn't know what he was talking about and assured us the engineer had already inspected the work and we passed. One week after work completion and after a couple of days of heavy rain the turf started to sink. The ground underneath the turf caved in, there was a tunnel underneath the pavers and dirty rain water drained into our new pool. Every single one of these issues my pool contractor warned me about. Nicholas downplayed everything but promised to send a new crew to fix the problems. This incident was the turning point in our relationship with Nicholas because after this we discovered that Nicholas had lied about a lot more things. Either he did not use the proper material, didn't use enough of it or none at all, if he could get away with not doing something the proper way to save money, he did it. And when Mother Nature helped to expose us to his shadiness, he still didn't try to make things right at first opportunity, instead he continued to skimp and cheat at every turn to cut his cost. By now we tried to get every conversation with Nicholas in writing instead of phone call and had been documenting everything in case we needed to hire an attorney. After the 3rd attempt to fix the mistakes failed again we requested that Crestmark send a different supervisor as Nicholas was no longer welcome at our home. In all Crestmark had sent the workers back 5 times in 2 months for the same or related issues. On top of all this, one of their workers stole our brand new BBQ grill. Even after they did their investigation, admitted that the workers were giving different accounts to what happened to the grill and agreed to reimburse us, Nicholas still tried to blame the theft on our neighbor. While this isn't even half of all that happened with this company, I hope that whomever looking for a professional and honest contractor will read this and go with a different company to avoid going through what we have gone through and continue to go through. Even today our ordeal with Crestmark is still not over. read more

We were referred to this company through the socalrebateprogram.org, a program that provides rebates for energy efficient upgrades to your home. We We were approved for a rebate of up to $6500 and decided to have our insulation upgraded this summer. Crestmark gave us a quote of $3000 to have our old insulation removed & replaced, with the assurance that we would have the info to request a full rebate from the socalrebateprogram.org. After the work was done, we contacted them for a month to get the info for the rebate. Then, they informed us they put the request in and will send us the rebate directly. After many voice mails, and no return calls, we finally got a person in billing to respond to us and she said the check would be mailed end of week (this was in October). Of course, 2 weeks later, still no check. Finally we reached someone and they said I'm putting it in the mail now. We finally received it on November 5th, 2 months after work was completed - and it was for $600! They will not return any calls and still owe us the $2400. So, either this company is a scam or socalrebateprogram.org is a scam, or they are both in in together. I'm reaching out here so perhaps we can get a response? If I don't hear from them in the next week, I'm reaching out to my city attorneys office. read more
