I'm a bit delayed in writing this review, but only because we've been enjoying our new kitchen so much! Huge shoutout to Gal, who was our project manager and the main reason we chose to go with Tulip. He did not disappoint! We had major water damage from a leak and decided to do a complete remodel of the kitchen. We interviewed 4-5 different contractors and ultimately decided to go with Tulip. One of the things that immediately stood out when talking to them was how honest they were about what could be done in the size of kitchen we had. Our initial plan (read dreams) included an island, and Gal was one of the few contractors that was up front with us about the reality of having an island in the space we had. Although we were initially disappointed, it's clear seeing the end result that this was the right choice. Gal was very communicative and always a text message away for anything we needed. As with any home project, there were times we needed to pivot, or had tough/fast decision to make, but Gal made sure we understood what was happening, why it was happening, and the options we had. He was also quick to give advice when we didn't know exactly what to do in certain situations. We ended up being slightly over budget due to some last minute design decisions, but to be honest we couldn't be happier with our new kitchen, Tulip, Gal, and overall project timeline and cost. As everyone i was quite skeptical hiring someone to do a major remodeling. When i contacted Tulip Remodeling, Asaf came out and assured me that they could complete my master bath to my standards (I am quiet perfectionist ) and it would be done in a very timely manner. The overall project took about 15 days to complete and there were a few issues they ran into along the way, but they handled them very promptly and worked with me in every way possible to ensure I was happy. We wanted to build a new kitchenette in our ADU in Hancock Park so we received 3 bids, one of which was from Tulip (Oran is the owner). Although Tulip's bid wasn't the lowest, we felt most comfortable with Oran's thoughtfulness and professionalism so we selected Tulip for the project. Oran was all over the project - communication, timeliness, willing to make adjustments, and overall customer service was excellent. Most importantly, the kitchenette turned out beautifully and within estimated budget/time - when does that ever happen with home remodel/renovation projects?! Just redid my fireplace and tv stand ! Recessed light , windows and paint. I had no idea what to do but they were so helpful with giving me design idea. We brought this beautifull 3D tile for the wall to put our tv and hide the cable and Internet box. That was such a smart and nice design that I had to share it. Tulip did a major project for us. We were moving to Los Angeles and had to renovate from afar (NYC). Tulip was amazing. Very patient, organized, professional, and budget-minded. We started the project focused on modifying two bathrooms, but we had so much confidence in Tulip that we expanded the project to include all of our floors (over 5,000 sq feet), another bathroom, doors, our staircases and railings, painting/limewash, and other plumbing items. Would highly recommend and we will use Tulip again. We worked with them without a designer so we also solicited their input along the way to exchange style ideas. I highly recommend Tulip Remodeling. I have had them do multiple different projects for my property. This one ADU project got me off my lazy arse to post a review so I could show off this beautiful and well-executed project. Apart from the long permit/city/DWP wait, Tulip completed this project on time. This is because Oran is the real deal G.C. His ballpark estimates are actually on point. Communication is always there no matter the significance of the matter. You will always feel in control of the project because of this. Oran's real deal G.C. scheduling skills are what saves you time. I work from home and was able to watch every minute of the project. How Oran and his team scheduled the subs was very organized and efficient. He truly understands his trade. I chose Oran and Tulip Remodeling among the other builders I interviewed because he seemed the most trustworthy. The other builders, off the bat, say things like, "Two story? You're going to need some steel beams." Oran actually looked at my sketches and even brought in an architect/engineer to see the feasibility of my drawings. They did a very good job on remodeling my deck. Went from a very old, on the ground deck that had nails poking through the wood. To a very nice deck that is a-little off the ground with some steps ! The color is a nice Manchester color and it looks all shiny and fresh! The crew that made this happen even cleaned my back yard nicely so I didn't have to worry about anything, super nice and professional and helped me pick out the best design.
