Crestmont Cadillac i went in to buy a used car. I found out the spark plugs, and battery were replaced a few weeks prior. the car had 23,000 miles. this was a red flag. I called the dealership that performed the work (it wasn't Crestmont). i was told that the spark plugs were replaced because the car shook while driving and engine light was flashing. Crestmont didn't tell me this info. I was not buying this vehicle. now I am trying to get my deposit back. crestmont received my deposit via debit card which is immediate. I cannot get the refund to show up in my bank account. Crestmont is saying it could take 10-14 days. wtf. they received the money right away they should refund just as fast I would not recommend them. I had a Honda dealer refund in 1 day. My insurance recommended crestmont Cadillac for repairs for my vehicle, had to wait about 2 weeks for a spot but the process was seamless! Picked a date and time for drop off and when I arrived, the staff already had all my information and paperwork ready, I was in and out within 10 minutes. They provided updates on the ETA and took care of all the coordination with the insurance. Pickup was just as efficient. The total cost was actually lower than compared to other body shop estimates I had received. My car was spotless and the cleanest I'd seen it since I purchased it. I noticed my headlights weren't working and brought the car back and turns out the bulbs were burnt out and the staff fixed it even though it was close to closing time! Just want to share a recent experience I had with my car with this dealership. I brought it to this shop to repair a broken front headlight because it was the closest to home that my insurance would cover. My car is an AMG GLE53 Mercedez-Benz 2021. The full repair took 1 month and 9 days. 1 MONTH and 9 excruciating days! We got updates by text message (mostly useless) and calls on Fridays. As time went by we only got 'following orders' and 'im just a middleman' kind of excuses. My insurance only covered 30 days rental (Progressive) but past those days they basically washed their hands (both this dealership and Progressive). Although I called repetitive times, this dealership never raised nor proposed a loaner of any sort for customer satisfaction compensation -even though they have hundreds of cars on display. I honestly believe changing a broken headlight shouldn't take close to 1 month and a half -moreover in the middle of 2025 Ohio winter with snow and temperatures at -10C some days; something the dealership should have been aware as I mentioned I had no car left to go to work past day 30. I feel maybe my car was too complex for them to handle and they basically got over their heads as a result of being greedy for insurance payment. They end-up having to send it to a M-B dealership to have it properly setup. Very frustrating experience. read more

We have a brand new 2025 Cadillac Lyriq that we leased through crestmont Cadillac. The monitor on our car stopped working as my husband was driving home from New York. It was like driving while blind. No functioning turn signal. We drove the car straight to Crestmont only to be told we needed to have an appointment. That was our first experience. A week ago the driver's window stopped working. We had an appointment to have it fixed last Friday. My husband drove to Crestmont only to be told that the part was not in. They could have called us to warn us about the delay, but did not. Every time we go through a drive thru we have to open the door. I've driven a Lexus for years but decided to buy American and try Cadillac. What a disappointment!!! read more

What should have been an exciting and seamless car-buying experience quickly turned into a complete nightmare. After placing a deposit, securing financing through my lender, and coordinating a Saturday pickup, I expected a smooth process. The dealership had already received my payment two days prior and was fully aware of my scheduled arrival time. Yet, after a four-hour drive, I arrived to find that my vehicle was not ready. My salesperson seemed overwhelmed and distracted, constantly running around without providing clear answers. For two frustrating hours, I was shuffled from room to room with no sense of urgency. The lack of professionalism and communication was astounding. Eventually, the manager, CJ, assured us they would fill the gas tank as a courtesy since we had such a long drive home--something they claimed they didn't normally do. However, after the car was finally ready, I checked the vehicle's app and saw that the salesperson had simply driven it around the block instead of actually refueling it. At this point, my frustration had reached its limit. I had already asked three times for the second key, and after realizing they hadn't put gas in the car, I followed the salesperson inside to get it myself. When he then asked me to take pictures, I told him I had no interest in doing so and that I couldn't stand being f'ing lied to. The constant dishonesty and lack of respect for my time were unacceptable. As I walked out, visibly upset, CJ the sales manager followed me to my vehicle. Furious that I had cursed inside the showroom, he stood in the doorway of my truck, blocking me from closing it. Despite my repeated requests for him to step aside, he continued to argue, attempting to justify their disorganization and dishonesty. His dismissive attitude and condescending tone only escalated the situation. He even went as far as to suggest that allowing me to put down a deposit or use outside financing was a special favor--something I should have been grateful for. I wasn't upset over the $32 it took to fill the tank--I was furious over the sheer lack of professionalism, dishonesty, and disregard for my time. Instead of making the process smooth and enjoyable, it felt like they went out of their way to frustrate me. No customer should ever be treated this way, and to be spoken down to and intimidated--especially as a female customer--was absolutely unacceptable. When I requested information on who oversaw CJ as the sales manager, I was flat-out denied. This dealership failed me on every level, and I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Friendly Staff but total rip-off. Went in today for a schedule oil change. Was told it would be $130 when I dropped my vehicle off. When I picked it up it was $170. I was told my extended warranty only covered $70. So I was billed $170 and my warranty provider was billed $70 (total $240). The receipt has no indication that my warranty provider was billed, but when I contacted them they said they were. The sales associate said they don't put that on the receipt (sounds real shady right). I go to pick up my vehicle and the oil life is still reading 16% and I didn't receive a sticker for my next due date. This really has me thinking did they even change my oil. They got me this time (first and last). I'll be taking my business to Morris Cadillac in North Olmsted moving forward. read more

I had my Escalade in for serviced at Crestmont Cadillac on August 12th. I received the car later that evening (around 5:30 pm). I drove the vehicle out of the facility and proceeded eastbound on Chagrin Blvd. I noticed a noise coming from the wheel base and then an obvious failure. Thankfully I managed to safely pull onto Park east Dr before getting to the onramp of 271. I then realized that the rear drivers wheel has come off and continued down Chagrin Blvd, ultimately landing on the 271 onramp. We are fortunate that the vehicle and loose wheel didn't cause any damage to any persons or other vehicles. I walked back to the dealership to advise the remaining service team about the issue. The team managed to get the vehicle towed back to the dealership and get me into a loaner vehicle. I was advised that a service manager would contact me to advise me on the issue. I did get a voicemail from a Dave after I called a few times to get an update (no completion date or explanation). Cresmont was not helpful as to why this happened. The vehicle was out of service for almost two months. Communcation on to completion was poor and there was no applogies or explanations by management or ownership, although I was told the "owner" wanted to reach out to me (never did). Now I have a bad CarFax on the vehicle and the vehicle has depreciated becuse of their error. read more

My husband came to test drive an Impala, was told that the previous owner had a dog ok, while test driving my husband did notice a slight smell, we also were told that the bumper and GPS antenna would be fixed, after we purchased the car. We picked up the car and my husband drove it home the dog smell was horrific so we ended up getting the car detailed inside and out. My husband mentioned that he did notice that the salesman turned on the air conditioning during the test drive. We were told that we would get a call the next day, giving us a date and time to bring the car in to get fixed, didn't hear from anyone so we ended up calling the following week to schedule an appointment. We took the car to get repaired and was told it would be done on a certain day didn't receive a call. I called them and was told the car was fixed and we could come pick it up. I asked if the GPS was fixed they stated they knew nothing about it, so they kept the car for maybe another week and a half. My husband picked up the car, when he got home he noticed that the inside of the sunroof will not close, the light behind the sunroof is hanging down and there's oil fingerprints inside the car on the roof. mind you nothing was said to us, stating that the inside part of the sunroof would not close. Horrible customer service and severe lack of professionalism. I went in for a oil change and tire rotation with alignment. When I checked in, I told my appointed service advisor, Katlyn Price that I had a concern with the passenger rear tire and that it may have I leak. I asked her to have the tech please check it for safety. The service was done, supposedly. This took over two hours. When I arrived home, I immediately heard a hissing noise from the passenger rear tire. Upon closer inspection I witnessed and active leak as the tire was wet and bubbling. So - NUMBER ONE, this was the tire that I asked to be inspected and it wasn't rotated. Again, this is the passenger rear tire - meaning the tires were not rotated as told. Wow, so this supposed rotation and alignment, done by tech, Joe Mog. Wasn't done. There is no way this brand no leak could have occurred in a tire that was supposedly rotated. Now, here is the worst part. I requested that the tire be inspected. I was told it was and it wasn't. I brought the car to Firestone tire and a nail was found in that tire which was causing the leak. Crestmont and its tech, sent me away with a nail in a tire that I requested to be inspected. This is extremely dangerous and negligent work and service by Crestmont Cadillac. There is more ------ I called FIVE times to speak with Kaitlyn Price so that she could help me address this situation. She has failed to return my calls now FIVE times. My last call I requested to speak to the manager but alas he wasn't available. I asked the person on the phone if Katlyn was indeed at work and he said, "yes". I then asked to be put on hold to speak with her, as I couldn't rely on her to return my calls. The person said he'd ask her and when he returned off hold he informed me that she said she couldn't speak to me because she was busy with other customers. He said that she would call for sure by the end of the day. NO CALL. This is the epitome of unprofessionalism. So over the course of my first call on Friday and what id now 3pm on Saturday, she couldn't find time to call a customer back with a concern? SO what are the reasons for the lowest scores? I was told that services were done and they were clearly not. I made repeated calls, over 24 hours asking for a call back and nothing. AND - I asked for a tire to be inspected, and it wasn't, being sent on my way with a nail in a faulty tire, very dangerous. These are the reasons for the low score. read more

First off, Dave Moore in the Service Dept is a solid addition to their establishment. The two to three month unavailability to parts to fix my Escalade was a situation that wasn't convenient for my family. Dave Moore was a gentleman and had a XT6 loaner for that duration. THANK YOU DAVE MOORE!! While I was at the dealership to settle the repair bill, I wanted to move into a new Escalade with salesman Scott & his wingman Jimmy (sales manager). Please note that my wife was not with me at 6pm and their brilliant idea was to drive the Escalade directly to my house the following morning 10:30/11:00am so that my wife can give her approval on the massive purchase that was to take place. In turn, my wife canceled her morning meetings to accommodate the sale process and was given a late phone call at 11:45am that they sold the escalade to someone else. With that said, My salesman Scott & Sales manager Jimmy have zero integrity to hold up to an agreement. There was no remorse or care that I was treated like trash on the street. No phone call with any explanations.... Nothing. I hope the owner(s) see they lost a $100k sale and a loyal customer who used their service Dept. I'm sure Porsche will openly accept my money. Mark and his service team were wonderful. We purchased a car out of state. The next morning there was a puddle under it, sign of a serous problem. We drove it in, and got a loaner car. The repair was under warranty. I had the loaner for a week with no questions asked. They even changed the oil and rotated the tires. The garage was very busy. Today is Wednesday, 22 May. I went to Crestmont Cadillac to order a new vehicle, to salvage my experience, and to give the sales manager a chance to regain my trust and respect. Instead he was missing in action. This is not new territory for the dealer as they have been through repurchasing vehicles before. One would think the sales manager would know how to be proactive in this situation to help a return customer in buying a vehicle for a replacement that was being repurchased through General Motors Repurchasing Program. The sales manager could have told us at the beginning of the process that we could not order a 2024. We would have made a different decision. However, we have been involved with this mess since April 8, 2024 walking blind. Now, when we order a vehicle they tell us we have to order a 2025 with added expense through no fault of our own. The sales manager drug his feet and blamed the delay on the owner. I paid sticker (MSRP) for the original car. I expected to pay MSRP for the replacement car. The dealer could have come down a bit to save this deal. Instead the sale manager argued and stonewalled. He could have spent a few dollars to keep a satisfied customer. Instead, he deflected, found excuses, stalled, wasted our time and blamed his owner. Do not do business with this dealer! You will make a mistake. We have a Cadillac and and have a problem with the purge pump for the emissions break and they replaced it. It once again broke and for 10 months we have gotten 100 excuses. They got the part but put in other cars, covid, can't get the part. We have called the salesman we have called the parts department and no on calls back. We have called customer service and even have a case number. We have called several time even talked with your concierge. NO ONE CALLS US BACK. They tell us every day someone will call us back never hear a word and we call everyday. There is an issue with this car and we are paying full price for a car that doesn't work to its potential and cannot get the part or phone calls. We are a step away from contacting and attorney!!! This is the absolute worse service we have ever had in my 62 years. General Motors should be ashamed of themselves as should Crestmont Cadillac. Jim Brown would never let anyone treat his customers like this, we will be purchasing from Classic as soon as our lease is over for a car we aren't driving! I take my 2009 cts to the dealer for oil changes and the inspection trusting I will get good feedback. After the oil change I was presented with colorful detailed printouts of rear brake, outer tie rod and stabilizer link diagrams, purpose, dangers etc. And recommended immediate repairs for all at $1200 with about $689 for the brakes. So I went over to Monro at 4311 mayfield and got a second opinion as Daddy always said. The stabilizer links and outer tie rods are fine with no play at all. Rear brakes with lifetime warranty, new rotors, new wipers for $355 out the door. Plus they are popping in a loose fog lamp cover for me that Cadillac would not. I highly reccomend Dave and his team at Monro for honest service at fair prices. read more

I've gone to this dealership three times. I've had my SRX checked for multiple issues And each time I've been treated with respect and understanding. One time in particular I had to tow my car to their location outside of working hours. They contacted me immediately the following business day and informed me they couldn't fit me in until the next day. That's ok with me as I know and expected that they schedule appointments in advanced and was thankful they fit me in and handled my concerns with urgency. Some reviews seem a little unrealistic with the expectations of being serviced right away. Other non specific car repair facilities can't take you right away some times. When you go to a Cadillac dealership you expect to pay a premium for individuals specifically trained to service and maintain Cadillac vehicles. If you're looking for cheap and quick any dealership isn't the right place especially if you just drop in. The service team at Crestmont was nothing less than spectacular and upfront with all pricing and work that needed to be done. They clearly explained what they were doing and offered me a temporary vehicle while mine was being serviced. If you own a Cadillac and need repairs I'd definitely guide my friends and family to Crestmont. read more

I scheduled warranty service on my 2020 XT5, both mechanical and body shop (blistered paint), where they said it would take approximately 1 1/2 weeks to complete everything. They would not provide me with a loaner car, nor reimburse me for a rental car (~$100.00 per day). In my opinion this is absolutely unacceptable, considering the car is still under warranty. read more

My car has been in this shop since February. Granted a lot of the time was waiting for parts. But I stopped in July 27th because I was in the neighborhood and they had all the parts except a seat belt they said. So I went to Honda who was supplying the parts for my car. Honda checked their records and said they delivered the part a week prior. Whoever logs delivered parts logged it wrong. My insurance approved 100 hours of work on my vehicle. Crestmont said they have a divide by 4 rule so 25 days. It wasn't until sometime between September 11th-14th that they realized the needed a seatbelt height adjustor. I spoke to Honda and that part was in the original part order. So they must have broke it and lied to me. Along with a rear window seal that they broke. After installing that when they get it they needed a tire at this point. It came in on the 20th. After putting this on my car failed the road test with a bent control arm and tie rod. They ordered that and I'm still waiting for them to get it and put it on my car. It's been one thing after another with them. Mistake after mistake. Corners trying to be cut. About the control arm and the tie rod I was told "we thought we could get it to pass with the current ones." I spoke to the GM yesterday on the phone because car rental gets expensive and you'd think after failing to catalog my part they would make me a priority. But took 45 days to get to the point when they figured out they needed more parts. During this entire process I was never given the courtesy of a phone call. Never had my call returned until I left a message with the GM and received an attitude from the collision department almost every time I called. With the treatment I've received I've been afraid to say in anything and now am worried for that same reason. These guys are putting my car together and that they'll mess something up on purpose that will cost me money later. With the level of unprofessionalism thus far I don't think this worry is without merit. The only thing I hope for at this point is when they finally get my car done it looks good and is done proper. read more

Kevin, the service manager went way over and beyond to help correct an issue that I was having after I brought my car in for service. They went to bat for me with The Warranty Group that I owned an extended warranty contract with. The Warrenty Group used a loophole in my contract to get out of paying for a relatively expensive claim. Crestmont ended up paying for the claim and said they would deal with The Warrenty Group on their own. Well done guys. It is rare that you encounter an organization that would not only admit to their mistake but pay for it as well. Highly ethical and I would trust them to handle my future service issues. So my opinion is very much from my heart. When I first arrived at Crestmount Cadillac (CC), before I could even get out the car, I was greeted by a sales man. He took into the lobby and I waited (not long) for Gary. Gary was very polite and welcoming. He focused on my needs and not just my wants. He showed me one of the best looking Chevy Impalas I've ever seen. It had all the bells and whistles. It was well taken care of and it was impressive by far. The next person person was Jamie the fiance manager. He was very inviting and was very informative about credit and how credit and everything worked. Jamie did everything that he could to make me comfortable and he worked hard to get me into a car. And I appreciate that. In the end I walked away with nothing; however, when I do get a chance to actually go purchase another car, I will be choosing CC. They showed me what good customer service will do for you. I called this dealer 2-3 weeks ago to check if they would replace my Cue screen with a customer supplied aftermarket unit, they confirmed yes they will and quoted me a price of $270.00. I thought that was fair enough being the directions on the unit claimed it to be a 2.5 hr job and I didn't have time to fool with it. I then ordered the unit and when it came in I called to make an appointment and confirm the quote which they did again at $270.00.Fast forward to yesterday the service manager calls me and wanted to know if they quoted me a price witch I confirmed yes they did. He goes on to tell me they have to charge about $700.00 for this job!! They have to remove the dash and blah blah and it will take 7 hrs to complete this job ( complete bull anyone can YouTube it and see it would only take 5 minutes to remove the entertainment unit from the car. My family buys Cadillac's and I will never deal with this stealership again. read more

Buyers beware, UNSCRUPULOUS & SLEEZY dealership. My son purchased a used car and part of the agreement was that Crestmont would fix the broken A/C. Our salesman, Joe-L, said that because Crestmont is a reputable dealership, they would repair the AC and not just perform a quick fix such as filling it up with Freon. ONE day after picking up the car, the A/C broke again. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to schedule an appointment with Joe-L and Jim T, I contacted Michael G, the GM, who offered to "fix" the AC but this time at cost. I work for a company that covers vehicle claims for customers. I called to give them authorization to complete a job for one of our customers. He berated me, and then abruptly hung up...guess it makes him feel more like a man. Apparently, his plan is to not call us back, forcing the customers to pay them out of pocket (at increased prices) to get the car back. I personally left him 5+ messages that he did not return and when I got with the customer, the pricing was WAY higher than what they had told us it would be. Do not do business here. I used their body shop for a collision repair to an Acura. The people were nice but several problems occurred. I dropped the car off on Monday. They said it should be done by Friday. Because the driver's side mirror was broken, they had to order a new one. Apparently, no one tested the new one to see if the lights on it worked. Once it was installed, the lights didn't work so they had to order another one. This delayed the repair by 3 days causing me to pay for 3 additional days of rental charges. The repair caused a fault code which can only be reset by Acura for $150. This was not included in the quote. Acura told me Crestmont should pay it, but they refused. Overall, their handling of the repair cost me at least $270 more than quoted. Also, the detailing was sloppy. read more

I had a toe in link recall done at this dealership. Since it's been done my rear tires are worn out on the inside. The tires only have 6000 miles on them. The car is all over the road in the snow and slush. Never had this problem before. I took it to Northfield Tire for a wheel alignment. They told me since the toe links are now non adjustable there is now way to the toe in. Crestmont checked the alignment and told me they could adjust the toe in with the camber adjustment. That seems a little odd to me since the toe in and camber are to totally different things. They also blamed some of it on the amount of miles I have on the car. The car never had a problem until the toe links where replace. Warning if your cars tires are fine in the rear DO NOT GET THIS RECALL DONE!!! Your car will be messed up. I files a case with Caddilac and have yet to hear back on what they are going to do. read more

I always like to take my Cadillac to the dealership for service. The guys at the desk are friendly and the place is cool to hang out for an hour while you wait for your vehicle. However, the price seems to be high. I usually do mind paying a bit more if I'm getting the quality service I expect for a place like this. Unfortunately, the last oil change I had done leaves me guessing about this spot. Two days after service my "windshield fluid low" warning came on. I assume during an oil change they are suppose to top off all fluids, but who knows! I had to stop at the gas station and spend $2.50 on a gallon of windshield fluid. I don't mind spending the few bucks but when you pay top dollar for it to already be done, it's disappointing. The car took the whole gallon, so that tells me they haven't filled it in months! With all that being said - I'm hoping they are truthful about all the other work being done - like changing the oil and filter!!! LOL I'm sure they'll continue to do a good business with rich people that don't know any better but no more $$$ from this guy! Sorry read more

Conveniently, I went online and scheduled my appointment, Crestmont emailed, and set me a text to confirm my appointment; I was also later sent a reminder email. I like the fact that if the date that I may have wanted wasn't available, the online appointment scheduling will let one know that. During my diagnosis I was made aware of other issues that may would become a problem in the near future, and I was asked if I'd like them taken care of, I answered yes, to avoid future problems, and inconveniences. Then they also performed a multi point inspection, at no cost, to make sure that everything else was functioning properly within it's means. Everyone greeted me in a friendly and professional manner, and I was also provided a loaner car to get to work in,even though I hadn't been scheduled for one they provided me with one,at no cost. Then returned my car to me repaired, and clean.
