I've been an Ultimate customer for over five years, and until now, I've rarely had negative experiences with this company. Nearly every morning, I stop at Crew, pay two dollars to sweep out my car, and then use my Ultimate subscription to run it through the wash. I also drive for Uber, and earlier today a passenger spilled milk all over my rear floor mat. I pulled into the Crew Car Wash on Crawfordsville Rd and asked an employee if he could spray off the mat. After looking at it, he told me, "We don't offer that service." I explained the situation and said I'd been a loyal customer for years, but had never asked for anything like this before. His response was, "That doesn't matter. Go to a location with self-serve bays and do it yourself." I understand they can't accommodate every unusual request, but in this situation, it was clear I genuinely needed help. I've lived downtown for 15 years and usually visit the Meridian Street location. The difference there is night and day: when I showed them the same mat, the first employee greeted me kindly and immediately offered to help. He directed me to pull around, and another employee quickly sprayed it off. It looked great afterward, and they treated me with respect the entire time. I've worked in customer service for 20 years, and this is exactly how you take care of customers. When someone faces an unusual circumstance, you step up and help -- especially when all that was needed was a quick spray with the hose already in hand. Crew (Mikes) used to be the ONLY car wash I would go to. Their service was always different because they took the time to spray the car and inspect it before it went into the wash. If you weren't satisfied they would let you come back around and personally remove any trouble spots. It feels like any other car wash now. Super weak pre spray done by an automated system (not a real person), and the actual wash is no different than anywhere else. I used to justify the higher price of the wash because of the higher service but I won't be returning anymore. read more

DO NOT USE! While going through, something got tangled and partially pulled part of the rear quarter panel (around the wheel well). Manager apologized and was understanding. he took pictures as well as all my information and said that someone from Corporate would get back to me within 5 days. After 10 days, I called the Corporate Office.The Customer Service said that they had denied the claim and never bothered to contact me. he was rude and dismissive. I'm a firm believer that there is no self-care routine that hits quite like a quick midweek pop through the carwash + a vacuum sesh. At this location, if you want to vacuum, do it *before* your wash. This means you have to be a little lucky that a stall is open when you turn in, because the only way out is through the wash. I love the reliability of Crew Carwashes around town, and their hours are amazing. Chances are high that if you're driving by one, it's open. I know inflation is upon us, but where I hail a basic car wash is $7 and the vacuums are free. A basic Crew wash is up to $11 and the vacuums are (I think) $2 for 8 minutes. So driver, be prepared to budget. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the location - due to being near such a busy intersection, you are often at the whim of whatever traffic is like so be flexible. You don't have a ton of time to wait so you will probably be forced to turn right onto Meridian when you come out of the wash, due to heavy southbound traffic and of course don't forget the impending car coming out of the wash behind you...! read more

An a incident report was made I was told I will be getting a call back from customer service in regards to this matter from the claims department I was reached out that Friday of last week in my email and notified that my claim was denied I called in today which is Monday the 10th of June and talk to a representative for crew car Wash and inquired about why my claim was denied I was told for the factor of my vehicle being denied from damage done at their location to my car that I was denied because my air stem cap was slightly too long and when I inquired about it to the actual customer service agent stating that so that's the best answer you can give me reasoning being that my claim was denied he then proceeded to overtalk me and act like it wasn't an issue in regards to my vehicle being damaged at one of your locations I asked him is this the answer you want to give me and not repair my vehicle or pay for the repairs he said well as I said your claim has been denied and there's nothing first I can do for you and proceeded to rush me off the phone stating is there anything else I can help you with but you have a great day before he left I said is there any way possible being that you gave me that answer can I cancel my membership unlimited passes for three vehicles I'm saying to myself you willing to lose the value of profit for three vehicles over $30 for just repairing a tire he didn't answer and proceeded to tell me is that all well you have a great day I called customer service again from the number he gave me and I asked a customer service agent from a different department I would like to cancel my membership she proceeded to ask me for information detailing to how to get to my account I gave her that information and we finished the process but at the end I gave her a scenario I was like ma'am not once have you asked me why am I canceling my membership she ain't tell well this is a standard practice that we use we don't ask people why are they canceling I said but that's not good for business is it I mean if someone abruptly cancels at my business I want to know why is that well we don't do that at crew car wash and once again proceeded to force me off the phone well sorry there's nothing I can do for you your claim has been denied have a great day. Washed my car last night and came out of the line with a completely cracked windshield from top to bottom. Manager on duty was very nice and understanding. I've submitted a claim with them, but the water was so hot I even noticed how hot coming through my vents and could see the steam. You have to go to the washer two or three times for to wash the car correctly and I've requested for my $40 back several times and I did not give him any response, when you go and get a promotion for $20 a month that's more worth it but for $40 a month and you have a deal with that not getting your car wash correctly it's aggravating and they always try to charge your card more so I will not be dealing with the car wash ever again if you're underneath the promotion, then you should Give a heads up and ask if it's OK to charge full price but said they charge full price and think that it's OK and they don't want to refund you you should be ashamed of yourself crew when it was Mike's car wash. Very nice location, but it's really tight on space here. Trying to make the sharp turn inside the car wash is tough, especially if there is ice on the road. Leaving is almost as difficult... if there is a lot of traffic on Meridian Street, it can back up and shut down the entire car wash. They are making some modifications to the place now.. more vacuums, different entrance, etc. I don't think this will make a change to how the entry/exit is handled, but at least it's getting some upgrades. read more

Love the location! its very convenient. HATE the turn into the actual carwash itself. its awkward. with this being my first time at this location i had NO idea what to expect past that turn. I also feel like the carwash itself was a little shorter than other Crew's VERY difficult time turning out back onto city roads due to the location of the carwash so close to a busy intersection. I actually thought the car behind me coming out of the wash was going to hit me because I was the second car in line to turn onto the street and the car inside the was would have had to proceed out so that it didn't back up other cars inside. I stopped by for a car wash and to vacuum out my car. The employees are always friendly and wonderful, but today they went above and beyond! I didn't have my wallet/credit card with me so I asked if it was possible to pay cash for the vacuum. They're actually credit card only, so I was about to leave but the woman working let me vacuum anyway! It was so very kind, I appreciated it so much. But not only that -- they also offered to scrub clean my floor mats!! Which is amazing, because there's only so much you can do with the vacuum on your floor mats. Been going to the car wash for years have a car wash sticker in my front windshield just went there 3 day'a ago. Same tires same wheels but today little smart ass denied me to go through. As a disclaimer, I make the rookie mistake of parking under a tree leaking sap, so my tree was covered...windshield, hood, and sadly even some of the sides with sticky tree sap. After unsuccessful trying to remove the sap at a gas station, I went to Crew for a wash. Sadly, the sap persevered through the wash. Staff took note and immediately gave me a second go around at the wash, free of charge. Before going through, the kind employee took a razor blade by hand and removed the sap from my windshield. I went through for my second wash, but alas the sap on the hood stayed. Taking note, the manager gave me a voucher to come back for an upgraded ultimate wash in the next 2 weeks to make up for the fails. Well I am bummed I still have some marks on my hood, the customer service was incredible. I am not one to get my car washed regularly as I would rather do it myself, but the service here was absolutely worth noting! read more

I value a clean vehicle, and I've trusted Crew Carwash for many years. Are they the best carwash in Indy? No. However, they are quick and do a relatively thorough job. I have the Ultimate unlimited plan, and I visit Crew on a weekly basis. This location of Crew Carwash is not my favorite. Given its location Downtown, there is little space. Driving an SUV, the tight corners are cumbersome. I often worry I will hit one of their annoying yellow bubbles. Pulling out of the carwash is also difficult, especially when making a left-hand turn (south) during rush hour. There is so little room for backup, I've gotten paused inside the machine. With the drying blowers going, the inside of the car becomes an oven. Alas, despite some headaches, the car gets just as clean as it does at any other Crew location. I recently posted a bad review of Crew Car Wash. I had taken my car to this location and a piece of trim came off. The same thing happened last year and they paid to replace it. This time, they refused to pay for it, it cost me over $400. I called my insurance agent and was told that she has had several other people call to make a claim because Crew wouldn't pay for damage ever. I also posted about this on Facebook. A friend commented that he had been to a Crew location and the arm came down and dented his car and they wouldn't pay for that either. Someone from Crew made a comment and apologized for the he issue and told me to call them to get a resolution. I did just that and the rep all but laughed at me. She acted like I was making it up .. I read the comment to her and she said it was from marketing and they have no control over claims. She said they still won't be paying for it. Clearly, whoever commented from Crew, only did that to try to convince anyone who read my complaint, that they would take care of it. All lies. I'm still furious. We spend almost $1000 a year on unlimited plans for our cars and have for several years. They are willing to lose our business over $400. They don't care. read more

This Crew location is so convenient to downtown. With that being said, it's not the easiest to navigate. The turn going into the actual wash is very sharp and there isn't much room to maneuver onto the track. The wash then ends going directly into Meridian street, which can cause a backup for vehicles exiting the wash. The employees are always so nice and helpful. Today, I wanted to purchase the unlimited plan (but I held strong and passed) just because the employee was so pleasant. Crew really hires top-notch people. All in all, I won't let the logistical fails keep me from returning. read more

They got most of it but then told me to go through again to try to get the rest off. All free of charge. I can see break dust. Take good care of your paint" yadda, yadda, yadda.
