I even showed them my bank statement clearly proving I paid for the service on April 10th. But because I "wasn't in their system," they told me I'd have to pay again just for them to look at it. To make matters worse, the two men working were rude, dismissive, and acted like I was being unreasonable for expecting a working battery and basic accountability. Most reputable shops offer at least a 90-day warranty -- apparently, not this one. Now I'm out the money, and still have a phone that doesn't work. Total waste of time and money. I brought my phone to this location at the mall and was told they could replace the battery for an agreed price and that I should come back in about two hours. When I returned, I was told that a screw had been damaged/stripped during the repair and that if he continued trying to remove it, he could also break the glass. He offered to charge me less and have me finish the repair somewhere else, or told me that if I could get the screw removed elsewhere, he could continue the job. I went to another repair shop and had the screw successfully removed. I then discovered that my phone had not even been properly sealed back up after the work that had already been done. I returned to Street Talk Repair simply asking him to finish sealing the phone properly -- something I believe should have been part of the repair I had already paid for. Instead, he asked me for additional payment and began arguing with me. At that point I left. I brought in a phone that needed a battery replacement and ended up having to visit another repair shop, deal with additional problems, and then was asked to pay more just to have the phone properly closed and sealed. Based on my experience, I found the service unprofessional and the handling of the situation irresponsible. I would not trust this location with another device.
