Last year, our attendant was very helpful and helped things flow smoothly. This year, I was not impressed. Our room still had party supplies from someone else's party. We were told that our pizza would arrive at 4pm, we didn't receive it until about 4:30p, then around 4:45-4:50p our room attendant shows up to rush us out the room. I get that our time was up at 5p, but our pizza took forever and if we would've had assistance throughout things might have flowed better to prepare for the next guests(if there was a party)after 5p.

But the variety is amazing, especially if you're a stay-at-home parent or if your child goes to daycare part-time. This Bunny Hive location is in the Historic Downtown Smyrna plaza, making it close to many other awesome businesses to check out before/after your visit. There is ample street parking and lot parking behind the building, making it easy to get in and out with your children for your activity. I decided to make use of the free intro offer for The Bunny Hive and easily booked a spot for my son & I at a Saturday session. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Ms. Ashley and Ms. Alyssa at the front desk and finished our check-in. We took off our shoes and my son was allowed to enjoy their adorable playroom as we waited for class to start - he loved the play area! We visited for the culinary exploration class and were joined by another adorable kid and her parents for the morning. Miss Ashley was so wonderful! The kids got to use little spatulas to flip "eggs", they learned to arrange their place settings, got a little maraschino cherry treat (which my son loved), and made ice cream. Not real ice cream, but one using yarn, plastic sprinkles and wool balls. Too cute! My son was overly excited and wanted to play helper... even if Ms. Ashley didn't ask for it, lol. Class started and ended with a fun song, bubbles and a parachute fun. My son and I loved this experience and it was such a fun way to start our Saturday together! We will definitely be checking out more weekend events and keeping our eyes out for the fun that The Bunny Hive is making for adults and littles alike.

The classes are a bit pricey especially if you want to attend multiple classes; so I'm appreciative for insurance. When arriving it was difficult for me to initially find the location, since my GPS took me to the back half. I called but unfortunately they did not answer, so I drove around and finally found it. There are a wide range of classes for smaller babies 2-3months to toddlers. The classes include baby massage classes, sensory classes, Daddy and Baby classes, culinary experience, etc. I attended the massage class and sensory I class, both lasted a total of 30 mins and was instructed led. It's a perfect opportunity for SAHP to bring there small babies out and socializing with other adults and a change of scenery. The improvements that can be made is the variety of classes they typically during the day and don't allow opportunities for working parents. I would enjoy if the classes included take home guides of some of the things you can do at home that's similar to what's done in class.

We were in the art area where the kids had an instructional paint along on a canvas, other arts and crafts, coloring, and my daughter's personal favorite, coloring on the glass. There appeared to be other rooms with jumpers and there was a class of some sort in the space that looked like the larger space. My only gripe was the bathroom in the main area wasn't the cleanest and from what I over heard the private bathroom needed some work before we got in there (NOTE: See note from the owner, I heard only half and assumed wrong). I'm not sure what time they start parties or classes, but I got there at 11:45a and the trash was near overflow level and could've used a light scrub. That said, I wouldn't mind having my daughter's 3rd birthday there.

We often felt unclear on expectations, received little guidance on working with the horses, and experienced inconsistent communication. At times, interactions felt distant, which made it hard to feel fully welcomed. Our final visit to the garden club--where we were initially told it was "full" without prior notice--ultimately solidified that this wasn't the right fit for us, though we appreciated Erin stepping in to let us help. That said, Monica and Dylan were wonderful and very supportive. I genuinely believe in the mission and hope the volunteer experience continues to improve with more structure and communication.

Who says only kids get to play with Nerf blasters? We had a…read moregroup ranging from under 5 to 55+. OK, maybe 55++. Everyone had a great time playing the games organized and run by Dart Wars 2U. They supplied everything and kept things moving. You could run as much as you wanted, or stake out and defend a fixed position. If I still worked within an office, I'd use this for team building or just a good time outside getting some exercise. Our group was celebrating an adult birthday with family and friends and it was the most fun I've had in quite a while.
