With tubes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, lilly pads, hammocks, and an overwhelming amount of space to explore, they'll be off and running as soon as you pull up! I'm glad I took the chance. My family and I loved it. Communication with the staff prior to arrival and throughout our stay was great. Check in was easy. The ladies at the front desk are super friendly. The cabin: we stayed in cabin 15. The cabin was spacious. It had two rooms and each room had their own private bathroom. The living room had a couch and a TV. The kitchen was fully equipped. They have a coffee maker. Each cabin has a cute little porch swing and chairs. It also has a picnic table and a barbecue pit. The beds were comfortable. They provide linen. Th. The bathrooms are clean. Toilet paper is provided. Showers have good water pressure and hot water. They do provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They also provide towels, but you have to get them at the front desk when you check in. The property has a playground, pool and a splash pad. The river is walking distance from all the cabins. You can take your truck or car down to the river to unload, but you cannot park your vehicle at the river. The river is practically private. It's nice and has plenty of space. They do have floats and kayaks you can rent. I did notice that you could walk a little ways up the river and float back down. The property is clean. The front desk does sell ice. It is an honor system and you pay at the end. Parking is available at each cabin, but they only can accommodate about two cars. If you need an extra parking spot, the front desk can assist you with that. The booking system was super easy.

River Bluff Cabins are located along the Rio Frio just south of Leakey, Texas just off Ranch Road 1120. It's a little slice of heaven conveniently located to the shops and restaurants in Leakey as well as to Garner State Park (not that you will have much reason to go to Garner State Park if you are staying at River Bluff Cabins. We stayed in Casa Cascada, one of their larger cabins. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths plus a full kitchen and two dining areas. The staff at River Bluff Cabins are helpful and very attentive. You will be hard pressed to find a hostess better than Heather. We will be back! That's for sure!

The property has a creek running along the property. They provide tubes if you want to just float and relax in the shade. The pool has a sun tanning ledge if you don't want to spend all your time in the shade. Each cabin has a fire pit and a s'more kit is provided. I would recommend cooking dinner at the cabin as most restaurants are only open for breakfast or lunch, but we did visit on the off season. The closest full size grocery store is in Uvalde, so plan accordingly. Also cell service on verizon doesn't work in this area, but free wifi is provided.

[The front office did provide water jugs.] The water did stay on for more than 1 hour, only issue is the water pressure will go down a little bit. The cabin my family and I stayed at is "Lone-star". It is an amazing cabin, very big on the inside. Very clean, and organized. Every room in the house was perfect. I would say it fits 13people in there, but everybody had their own bed, and shower. There is no wifi which is not good, since they offer cable tv so it should've came with it in my opinion. Our neighbors were very friendly, great place! Overall we had the best time and loved the cabin... might go back this coming weekend again

My partner and I went and brought four friends and there was plenty of space for all of us. Upon checking in, the woman that runs the place was more than eager to tell us anything we wanted to know about Concan, Garner State Park, and the surrounding towns, such as Leakey. Very friendly and personable staff. At the cabins we stayed at we could not have been more than a couple hundred feet from the Frio River, very beautiful scenery. There is a fire pit outdoors, but having a grill outside your cabin is hit or miss - we didn't have one, but our neighbors did. If you're betting on having one, call ahead to confirm first. The outdoor rules are a little strict (no music, no parking on grass, etc.) I was also confused as to why there was a $30 cleaning fee in addition to your reservations fee because you make your own beds, wash all your dishes, and take out your trash before you leave. Not sure what the cleaning fee was for aside from cleaning the floors. Aside from that, we had a really great experience. The location was idyllic, everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a blast. We'd love to come back.

The manager, Veronica, is an absolute gem. She helped us with so many things from getting extra linens to giving us ideas for places to eat, since we were there during off peak times and early in the week. The spot that they are on in the river is absolutely stunning. The cabin we were in was peaceful and quiet. It was also just a short walk to have a beautiful view over the river and if you took a different path you could easily hop in. The back porch of the cabin was serene with bird feeders and even a humming bird feeder! There is a fire pit and a bbq pit if you feel like doing your own cooking. The cabin has all the necessary things for you to do your cooking for the entire time. I will say, prepare to be in the shower a touch longer, as the water pressure was somewhat low, but man...when water pressure is your single complaint, you know you're in heaven!!! I highly recommend this place and we will for sure stay here again. It's also reasonably priced. I advise if you're not trying to accommodate a summer schedule to go during the off season to enjoy a few less people.

We stayed at an RV spot which were clean and had high end BBQ pits. The bathrooms and showers were VERY clean! We were quite impressed. They had great amenities- basketball court, pickle ball, pool, playground etc! We will be coming back for sure, especially in the summer to take advantage of the water fun!

This photo says it all. Bathroom/showers scheduled for remodel, but they are clean and tidy. Laundry room is also neat as a pin. Cabins were being re-roofed during our stay. The sites are wide, level gravel and each has a big charcoal grill and picnic table. Half the sites are pull-thru, half are back-in. There is no television signal in the valley, but there is Dish equipment you can get from the office at no charge. Highly recommend it. Towing on Cty Rd 348...I would recommend only doing it from 83, which is kind of a wheel-gripper itself. 348 coming from 127 in Concan would be a nightmare. Once you're unhooked and settled in, take a drive across the river on 348 and you'll see what I mean. You'll love this park, and you'll love the owners. Don't forget to buy some corn for the deer and Rio Grande turkeys when you visit the office!
