I frequently travel to this part of Columbus and was so excited to see a new coffee shop! It's a drive thru location that is adjacent to the renovated Olentangy Inn-in fact it looks like the coffee shop is actually built out IN the old motel offices! You have to drive around the back of the motel to order, which feels a little weird but there are multiple signs to point you in the right direction. A big plus: the pickup window is under a huge overhang - wonderful for picking up hot coffee in bad weather! Having never been to Crimson Cup, I wasn't sure what a few of the drinks were. The staff was very helpful in describing them and also shared what season specials were available. I had the Crimson Cup Mocha with no whipped cream and an extra shot of espresso. It was well balanced, flavorful, and not cloyingly sweet (although that may have been bc of the way I ordered it). Despite the construction on the road in front, it was very easy to get in and out of this location and I will be back!

Solid coffee shop! Doesn't seem to get the attention it deserves. Hadn't seen any posts about them…read moreon social media. But saw them on Google Maps. Came down here just past 9am on a weekday and they weren't busy. There are a number of specialty drinks on the menu. Ended up getting My Way (caramel latte with orange cold foam and cinnamon), upon recommendation from the barista. This one was my favorite! The barista mentioned a lot of people order it. Her other recommendation was Cafe Bombón (Spanish latte with condensed milk), which she said to modify with vanilla cold foam. It was pretty sweet but I would add the cold foam to a different drink. They have a number of baked goods but it was a bit early for me to order them. There's also a back room with more tables too. I was impressed! The barista was great! I'll be back! Easy to find street parking here.

A friend told me about this new spot a few weeks ago and I was finally able to pay them a visit…read moreover Thanksgiving weekend. My sister and I had just finished up lunch and wanted a sweet treat and some caffeine to keep our afternoon going. The space itself looks great. For the longest time this corner was home to a vacant building and they put a lot of work into it. The side where you order is fairly small but on the other side of the wall is a good sized lounge area. Perfect for getting work done, catching up with friends, etc. I ordered the super trendy strawberry matcha and a pistachio raspberry macaron. Both were worth coming back for. The strawberry matcha had a delicious strawberry jam with a cold foam on top. I could tell the matcha wasn't the lowest grade option you could get because it tasted very smooth. The macaron was absolutely gorgeous and much bigger than the average. Both sides of the macaron were big and the amount of filling inside was amazing. Very flavorful but not over-bearing. It was also extremely photogenic. My sister enjoyed her goodies, too. She went with a hot chocolate and a cinnamon macaron and said she was a fan. They are Latinx-owned and women-owned, which I love to see. I will definitely be back to try more things and fingers crossed this spot sticks around for a while!

I've heard nothing but great things about this cafe, so my expectations were high - I'm happy to…read morereport that this place is worth the hype! We were gifted tickets for the German Village picnic Giftory experience which gave us two macarons of our choosing and two vanilla shortbread cookies for free. We chose the raspberry chambord and pistachio macarons while also ordering two pistachio cloud matchas. All of the desserts were excellent. The raspberry macaron was very fruit forward while the pistachio was more subdued, but still had a spot on flavor. Even with sugar coating the shortbread cookies, the touch of vanilla made them taste light. I could easily see myself eating far too many of those. The star of the show was the matcha. 10/10! I've never had a pistachio flavored drink, so I was a little hesitant, but wow, I'm glad I ordered it! The matcha base wasn't overly sweet nor was the pistachio foam overly salty. Perfect mix of sweet and savory. Even thought the line was out the door, it moved at a decent pace and our drinks didn't take too long to receive. I'd like to try the strawberry matcha next time, but I'm not sure if I can pass up the pistachio Highly recommend!
