Drinks: Ordered the seasonal salted caramel mocha... WOWWZA! Super sweet and delicious. I usually drink my coffee black, so this was a fun treat. Service/Ambiance: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Big plus, they have a drive thru and take Apple Pay. Inside feels cozy and homey, with tables if you want to sit and hang out. I came with a friend and we left really happy. Parking: Heads up, parking/drive thru are a little tricky since it's behind the building near North Metts St. This place used to be a house before it became a coffee shop, so the layout is a bit unique. Extremely friendly and tiny enjoyable spot with good space, huge menu, and plenty to treat anyone's sugar pains. My buddy and I went for that basic lattes on their specialty menu, both easy to drink with good fruity notes and priced fairly. Also tried the fruity chai however didn't do much, lacking chai notes and offering little cinnamon or cloves. Could quickly come back for the breakfasts, I love a good quiche! Loveeee this sweet spot! They're in between my stop from home and heading to Indianapolis so I love coming here to get my coffee fix before I hit the road. They have a drive-thru that is very convenient if you're stopping to get a quick bite and drink. But if you have time to stop in and admire the amazing space I totally would recommend doing so! Award for the cutest coffee shop goes to Crimson House! This adorable cafe has been an awesome addition to the community. The quaint place is just off SR 1 in the heart of Ossian. It is a red house that has been converted into a coffee shop and cafe. They even have a drive thru (limited hours). As soon as you walk through the door you are taken back by the decor and atmosphere. It is decorated beautifully, offers tons of seating and boasts pride from the time the owners put into making it that way. The staff is super friendly and patient. When I stopped in on a Saturday morning they were pleasantly busy which I was happy to see! My only comment is that it seems they may need more staff. I decided to order the cold brew with cream and vanilla flavor. I was tempted by the sweets, but opted for just coffee. It was handed to me with a smile and tasted great. I spent some time perusing the shop and noticed local goods spread throughout. They also had a group in one of the rooms, which are available to rent! Great little cafe, had their daily special which was a chicken pot pie and cream of mushroom soup. I'd get both again. So grateful for the lovely people at Crimson House right now. 11 of my guys are working at a site nearby, and asked for a last minute lunch. At first it was a wild panic, as very little is open and delivers on a Monday in the area, apparently. But low and behold, I found Crimson House, and called them up. Despite obviously being busy, they helped me out and penciled my team in. They were especially patient with my lack of knowledge of the area, since I am several states away and am rather clueless about where everything is. All in all, the customer service is A+. If I ever venture to Indiana, I'll be sure to stop by. Also, it did not occur to me that they were in a different time zone until several minutes later, which earns them a massive kudos. They have so many options for people of varying allergies/intolerances and sugar-free options for diabetics! I always order a sugar-free vanilla latte with coconut milk along with a gluten free chocolate muffin. I also really enjoy their sandwiches (made with gluten free bread!). Got up early to get to drive to Ossian to visit a much anticipated Crimson House! We have heard about this place from friends, but decided after coming back to Bluffton for a funeral that we should stop by. We got two different quiches, the feta and spinach and a southwest sausage. Both were great! My latte was very good as well. The shop was cute and clean and the owners are awesome!! Was excited to try this new, local coffee shop yesterday. The pie we tried was tasty and we enjoyed the quaint setting; my wife enjoyed her iced tea as well. Unfortunately I was disappointed that the barista couldn't make an iced espresso drink my way. In fact he argued with me on what was removed or added in whole vs. skim milk, claiming that they add sugar to skim milk. Wrong! While he tried to explain how "healthy" their ingredients are verses other coffee shops, he doesn't have a thorough understanding of food or nutrition.
