Usually only go to Geist the location, but decided to try this one tonight. Food was great, server was excellent, and overall a good dining experience. Part of our meal took less than 10 min to come out after the rest of our food, but what appeared to be a manager took half off of that meal. Very nice of them. Wolfies is consistently amazing. The staff is always friendly and quick. They have a great selection of traditional options with a twist like rhe horseradish sirloin or pulled pork tacos. Greeted and seated right away, even on a summer Saturday evening - much bigger inside than it appears. Comfortable, clean, and casual. Service, well lit, and plenty of seating are all good. Food though was underwhelming and lacking any flavor. I ordered the Fried Chicken with Peppered Gravy, listed under House Specialties. The chicken was good and crispy, but the peppered gravy lacked any type of flavor. It also was served lukewarm, which really didn't necessarily pair well with the chicken or the side of mashed potatoes. I'm sure gravy isn't made to order, but no reason it couldn't be kept in a crock pot or some type of vat to keep it nice and warm. One of my dining companions compared the place to Cracker Barrel and honestly I'd probably give the edge to Cracker Barrel at least for the food. read more

Stopped here for a late lunch before getting on I-69 to return to Indy. So convenient! From the service to the food everything was perfect. I will definitely go back to try another dish. Only draw back is parking. Wonderfully big place but their lot doesn't have enough space. I saw people walking to the restaurant from the parking lot of the strip mall across the street. No sidewalk. It looked a bit scary with all the traffic. We! My wife and I stopped here to check out a band. Some friends of ours invited us. We had the Tenderloin with Wolfies chips. It was tasty. Not the typical Hoosier tenderloin. But defiantly good and reasonable price. Wife had the steak tacos she totally enjoyed them. They have a great selection of BEER on tap. Our server Kristen was AWSOME very attentive polite and professional! We had a large group so I give her kudos very attentive! The ambiance is nice very modern for a small town! And this place is located right off the highway. Totally recommend this place. Obviously they are doing well saw may people doing carry out and the parking lot which looks big enough well today on a rainy Friday was not. I say must be a good sign ! read more

Everything is good except the water. The water tastes like dishwasher soap. Same problem at the Carmel location. They will tell you that they can not get you any different water. But ask for it from the bar. A waitress once told us it is because they get it from the soda machine that shares the line with lemonaid and the taste is off, but they don't train new staff how to get the clean water. I find it sad that each time we eat at these locations we have to educate staff on how to get water. read more

A group of friends had dinner and enjoyed many different items on the menu. The food was good, portion sizes were decent but heavy on the salt. Service was solid even though they were busy. I would definitely return. The chips and queso were excellent as were the brussel sprouts. I didn't personally have the tacos but I know he really enjoyed them. read more

The beer was cold and the ambiance was good. We sat at the bar and the staff was friendly. The mixed drink (old fashioned) was lackluster. The French Onion soup was all onions, croutons, and cheese. Where's the broth folks? Blackened Blue Cheese Burger was cooked to the correct temperature, but I removed a lot of red onions. Way too many for a good burger. The wrap, my wife had, was all lettuce and not much meat. This place is new, so maybe they're working be out the kinks. It's really not much different than an Applebee's or any other chain restaurant. Sysco or similar is certainly all over this with their signature canned, overly preserved, sugary, bland name all over this spot. Do better folks. read more

It was our first time this Wolfies. We sat at the bar for lunch. Service was fine. Not great. But fine. Lots of conversation with other staff members across about scheduling and this and that while my husbands Guinness - ready - sat .. and we had to remind server to give it to us. Fine.. not great. Second.. I ordered the fish and chips. We were there at 12:30. The fries were limp. The could of been old or just needed more time in the frier. The fish - a huge portion - was not good. The coating looked fine.. but it was mushy and soft. The fish should have been dried before going into the batter to fix this. They're new we know. We'll try again. Good Luck Wolfies.. read more
