Incredibly fresh, a little spendy but worth it, filling, lots of options and would definitely try again. They serve lots of salads, different signature bowls, smoothies. I eat here at least every other week. I love the offerings they have, as well as the vegan rice crispy bars. The manager is great and the staff are very accommodating. My only issue: The acoustics in the place are absolutely horrible! I'm not tall enough to speak over the plexiglass dividers. Today there was a mixup in my order because the employee could not hear me. The manager quickly took care of the issue. In my previous review, I mentioned an experience I had at this location where the staff was disorganized, resulting in a long wait. Crisp & Green was quick to respond and handled the issue kindly and generously. While it's true that the staff here are newer and therefore are sometimes not as streamlined as at other locations, management is working hard to perfect this newest location. They take feedback into account in order to train their staff better, which is something I always appreciate. I come here often since I know I will be able to get something delicious that I can eat and still feel good and not weighed down afterwards. There is a lot of flexibility with the menu, so if you have diet restrictions, you will be able to find something you will love. I also like to get the smoothies as a filling snack or meal to go - gotcha matcha is probably my favorite, but I've never had a bad smoothie here. I also love their Moroccan spiced almond dressing (seriously good), the agua frescas, the seasonal "boom, roasted," and the "chef curry 2.0." It's high time we had more casual plant-slant joints this far out in the suburbs, so Crisp & Green is a great addition to the Arbor Lakes area. read more

I had downloaded their app since the last time I'd been there and earned myself a free salad That's right- they give you a free salad just for downloading their app!! I ordered the wild wild southwest and the no prob Cobb. Both were delicious, but I honestly prefer the cinco de light vs the wild wild southwest. The Cobb was on point as usual, I could drink that dressing it is so good! My only compliant is that it's $13 for a salad, but I really do love this place. read more

The menu and the pics are great, but they do not serve it like in the pictures. Of course I'm going to compare it to Zupa across the street, and Zupa wins without a doubt. Here is the main thing, and it turned me off before I even took a bite: they toss it with the toppings. The presentation looks nothing like the pictures. They need to do it like Zupa where they toss the salad with the dressing and then place the toppings on top and let us mix it ourselves. With the rice bowls, maybe serve the dressing g on the side. I asked for light dressing and it was still drenched. Bleh! They way they are doing it, they can't beat Zupa in price, presentation, or flavor. They need umbrellas outside for shade. Woooohooo! Almost forgot how salads can be so good (even though they're $12/each). My wife got the Prob Cobb and loved every bit of it. The dressing was on point and the lemon squeezed was the cherry on-top. I had the southwest salad and it was very tasty too, with good pieces of tasty chicken. A BIG shout out to the team working Crisp & Green tonight! It's a Friday night and the place was hoppin! The team working the front consisted of 4 people: one handling the grains & greens, one doing toppings, another doing dressing mixing and final additions, and the last ringing up the order. They were handling both a ton of people in line AND orders online and doing it so efficiently - I honestly haven't seen a team work that well together in a long time. They were friendly, new what they were doing, and best of all, if one of them got piled up, another would smoothly transition over to help. It was so impressive! Your manager should be very proud! The Maple Grove location is most convenient to my house , while the Wayzata location is close to my office. There is such a marked difference between the locations. I have tried the Maple location several times and they have yet to get the order correct. I'm not sure why they offer curbside when they don't answer the phone when you arrive per the sign in front. The staff seems so annoyed and they all seem to make up miscellaneous reasons as to why they can't follow their own menu. Not once have they offered to remake their mistake and make you go to the back of the line to do so. I really wanted this to be an option for us. At $16/salad, I would hope for better. read more

Predominantly my visits to Maple Grove Crisp & Green have been uneventful. Ten months (March 2022) ago on several occasions I repeatedly experienced poor results (ingredients not in the salad, some heavy, others noticeably light). I figured the lack of proficiency was simply new employees finding their footing. Last night, I gave it another try and ordered the Cinco de Light (w/ organic tofu) for pickup. Results: Fresh & balance ingredients but no tofu. The freshness of the salad was so on-par that I could have accepted the missing tofu. However, when I arrive to pick up my order, my bowl was placed on the shelf unbagged. I noticed all the other pickups were bagged. I inquired as to why it wasn't bagged, the young lady politely advised me there are bags on the counter for me to bag it myself. Very disconcerting, the whole idea of "PICK UP" is to efficiently get "in & out". I don't think the poor service was personal but rather youth ineptitude. Forgivable: absolutely, appealing: no. Hoping this feedback provides the basis for continual improvement. FOLLOW UP - Upon receiving this review, C&G promptly responding to it. They apologized for the disconnect and explained the reason behind not bagging the bowls when there is only one bowl. The environment, their GREEN footprint (no pun intended) and the desire to reduce waste is paramount to this organization. That alone warrants a revision of the rating. In addition, it is very impressive the organization would spend time to assure the concerns of ONE customer are heard and addressed. We went to the skip the line to order smoothies and were ignored by the cashier for 5 minutes while he noticed we were there. We waited 20 minutes for 2 smoothies as the the crew member making the smoothies didn't know how to correctly operate the blender. He also made sarcastic comments about his love for making smoothies to us, and also made smoothies for customers that ordered after we did before making ours. I would expect a lot more for an $8 smoothie. Hopefully they figure it out. Crisp and Green is a place that serves upscale salads and protein bowls. I find everything at Crisp and Green to be very fresh including avocado that is scooped fresh out instead of coming out of a container. I usually get the southwest salad and my wife gets the Cobb salad. The only thing that I feel should be a small improvement is having salt and pepper grinders available to the customers instead of the typical salt and pepper shakers that don't contribute much to the salads and protein bowls. read more

I wanted to try out Crisp & Gree seeing as I am looking for a go-to smoothie place. What better day to test it out than the hottest day of the year! Inside it was very clean and the decor was pleasant and bright. I waited in line to order my smoothie...for those that don't pay attention like me, you can just order your smoothie and skip the line which was gently explained to me upon ordering. I ordered the matcha smoothie, it took only about 5 minutes and the place was busy. The smoothie was delicious and very filling. I am truly looking forward to trying their other smoothies! I like this for a quick and healthy stop for those lazy days when ya just don't want to cook. The only thing I would change based on my experience is to be open earlier! I like this place better then Zupas across the street. It is over priced at bit but I thought the service was great, unlike Zupas where i have consistently run into a-holes. No, the salads don't look like the pics because they are mixed and yes, the servings are less then the pics as well (they did actually fill the serving scoops unlike Zupas at least) but I felt very full after mine, could hardly finish it all. Ingredients are fresh and I will give it another shot. I did ask for my dressing on the side and glad I did because it was a lot. I wish the $14 salads were more like $12 but it is what it is and that's what I pay when I make my own at Whole Foods. Good luck to Chris Humphrey's new place! First time at this location. Friendly staff. Good food. Store was freezing cold. The chairs are very uncomfortable. No back support. I also don't like the fact the bathroom are way in the back and anyone can come in and out the back door to use them and no one in the restaurant would have a clue. Not safe. Two turn offs were the dumping of all the ingredients into a (common) bowl, given a vigorous stir with dressing, turning it into a bowl of salad glop (with very dry chicken). The second was the self service dumping of all left over salad glop into a common hole next to piles of dishes and silverware. Kinda gross. Pictures of toppings are very misleading - actual serving per salad is about 1/4 of what is shown. Chefs recommended amount of dressing was way too much. So much so, I could barely eat the $13 yacht club which was way overpriced for what ended up being a half a bowl of salad and a small piece of bread. Guessing building you own and asking for extra of each as the lady behind me was doing would be a better value. When I mentioned the amount of toppings - lack there off - to the cashier, his response was that they pride themselves in only the best quality ingredients. Too bad I couldn't taste them thru all the dressing. Waited in line almost 30 mins. Staff seemed to be mixing up orders. Very disappointing first experience - not planning on going back anytime soon. I was one of the first in line at opening day and was greeted with a smile, a great salad, and a free water bottle!! I have returned a few times after and all my experiences have encountered strong, welcoming customer service and even better food!
