An amazing sandwich, 10/10 times. Never before in traveling the world or the United States have I been to a sub shop with such consistent and fresh, delicious sandwiches. I'm a sucker for a classic club, but try their chicken salad club you won't regret it!!

Stopped in while in town for a quick bite to eat before a night out, definitely a must have when visiting the Twin Cities! We got the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup, absolutely delectable! The grilled cheese was a perfect blend of cheesy goodness and fresh tomato bliss. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was super clean and well maintained--loved the intimate ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food came out quickly and service was speedy. Would definitely stop by again!

    Pastrami Sandwich on sub bun

II'm still on my quest to find the best. pastrami sandwich I can in Minnesota. I'm going to give them an 8 it of 10. I asked them to put it on a sub bun and I was pleased that they said they would. I was expecting a bun like Jimmy John's or Subway. This was an 8" section of a 3 foot long bun. The bun was pretty ordinary. They could do better. I wished I had asked for extra pastrami. I thought it needed more. They added a little bit of cheese. It would have been better without it. There was also a little mustard but not nearly enough. We got there at 12:30 and the place was empty which made it easier for them to take the time to customize our sandwiches. By the time we left the place had a pretty good crowd if count the pick up orders . I think the place only holds 20 people at 3 tables and a counter. It needed lettuce, dill pickles, pepperoncinis or hot yellow wax peppers. My wife thought the slices were to big and made it difficult for her to eat.I think I could get them to make us a better custom sandwich but if I'm going to drive that far and do that I might as well keep trying to perfect my pastrami sandwich. I wish them well. They are nice people.

Cute deli! Our sandwiches were delish! The bread was soft and fresh, plenty of filling. Definitely a repeat.

Was indecisive as to what to eat but when I walked past I had to stop because their menu caught my attention with its variation of sandwiches. Delicious isn't the word as its one of the best sandwiches I've had. Its more of a take away but you can also have a seat and view the streets as people and cars walk and drive by. The service was awesome because the staff was really receptive and fast in delivering my food.

Delicious subs for great prices! Absolutely love their selection and staff is incredibly nice. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of great delis in Minnesota, so I'm glad there's Caffrey's!

Fresh and high quality ingredients, service was chill but friendly. The food was really good but it was a bit pricey for sandwiches.

Being 5 minutes from our destination we decided to give it a try And boy are we glad we did! The sammiches weee absolutely outstanding. They come with a smorgasbord of toppings, so you need to peruse the list to determine if there is anything you DON'T want. We had three turkey sammiches and one ham, and everyone chose to modify their toppings slightly (note/ if you desire tomatoes, those need to be added as they oddly aren't on included in the smorgasbord ‍) I opted for everything - perhaps a bit anxious about how well all the flavours would mesh (mayo, mustard, horseradish, oil and vinegar along with various toppings). But you know something / it worked really really well. We also chose the potato salad as a side and it was also quite tasty. Lighter, northerly mayo's. While the sammiches weee being constructed we perused the offering in the attached grocery. Everything oooed fantastic and if we lived Locally, I would certainly be a regular - with an eye to trying many of their offerings beyond the sandwich counter.

On one side is a meat market with a variety of cuts of steaks, lamb, and other meats, which all looked fresh and quite nice. They also have a variety of items such as canned goods, pasta, eggs, etc. on the shelves opposite the meat counter. The entire place is quite sunny, pleasant, and cozy. On the other side is the eat-in, take-out deli sandwiches, that are made to order. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. The bread is freshly made (crispy baguette type) and you have a choice of Roast Beef, Roast Turkey, Tuna Salad, Smoked Ham, or Corned Beef. All sandwiches are $16.50 each (including tax) and come with a choice of mayonnaise, spicy stone ground mustard, red leaf lettuce, thin sliced red onion, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, raw grated horseradish, pickled jalapeno, and roasted bell pepper. The default includes all toppings so if you don't want everything, be sure to specify what you do NOT want. Surprisingly, they do not carry any diet soda, nor do they stock any national brands (only local pop). There is a large menu on the wall, and you order at the counter and pick up the order (no table service). The food was attractively presented, and very, very good. My only gripe (besides the lack of diet pop) is that it's on the expensive side for lunch. Two sandwiches, a couple of bags of chips, and a couple of cans of pop will easily top $40, although I'd say the quality is top-notch.

If other places do not have head cheese, I wouldn't be caught dead in there ordering banh mi. Quangs across the street does not have head cheese in their banh mi... because possibly a little more.... Definitely will not get your moneys worth there. So I basically skipped the other meats this time and only got the head cheese. Because that's my favorite on a banh mi. If they had pork belly or real roasted pork slices, I would definitely get that too, but this place does not have those two meats. I dream about this place all the time it is absolutely delicious. I get extra pate.

Everything is ready quickly, so it would be a good spot if you only have a short break. If you have more time and you'd like to sit down, they have plenty of seating available! They serve banh mi, rice noodle bowls, egg rolls, and spring rolls. They have several vegetarian option. I got the veggie egg rolls and a large tofu banh mi which I split with a friend! The egg rolls had a good crisp. They're filled with carrots and bean thread primarily. They are definitely an oilier egg roll, but no one eats egg rolls to be healthy! They are tasty, and I would get them again! The tofu banh mi was good! The tofu had a good curry flavor, and they were generous with their fillings, which I really appreciated! The bread itself wasn't the crispiest, but it was a humid day so I could see that making it a little less crisp! It was still overall good, and I was really happy with the amount of mayo that went on the sandwich! I think you get good bang for your buck with the sandwiches here, so I would recommend it and go back!

On paper: sounds great, supporting local, an area that needs thriving business because lots of things around it are...struggling or don't feel safe / look good. Beautiful restaurant if going based off of just aesthetics. They couldn't cram more tables in there if they tried so all those people must have different thoughts! I couldn't hear a friend talking 2 seats away from me. The irony of a 2 hour reservation for Sunday brunch and waiting an hour and a half for food. Maybe its because we had a group of 7 today but our waitress straight up refilled our water once and then avoided eye contact for the next hour 20. We had to ask other staffers after an hour where our food since members of our group had to leave shortly after scarfing their food down. Food: mixed reviews from my table but most agreed the bread pudding French toast was a dense blob. I ordered the farmers brunch and subbed a pancake for the French toast - the best decision I made. Bacon was worse than a drive thru: either burnt or straight up uncooked fat. Left it on my plate. The potatoes were the real star but not for a $20 meal. Anyways, go at your own risk! I don't eat out a lot for breakfast / brunch so this was supposed to be a treat for me but ended up being a waste of money.
