Worst experience ever...we ask for 2 bowls with tofu to go and it takes them forever to make it. We drive all the way home and then realized they made our bowls with chicken (we don't eat meat) so we have to drive back and get them to remake them. They tell us they don't have tofu ready and they need to make more, so we sit there for 20 minutes while they make tofu. At this point it's been a 2 hours process to just get 2 bowls. This was terrible. I have eaten at crisp and green in other towns and loved it but will not be coming back to the rockwall location. read more

Service was good, everything else was awful.. the lack in fresh produce was so disappointing. I haven't ever had such a bland salad. The greens were going bad I had to pick out some old wilted leaves from my salad. Then the choices in vegetables were so limited all I saw that I would eat was carrots, cucumbers & tomatoes. that was all & the chicken with a dressing. I spent almost $20 for something I could've done better myself at home.? I would not recommend trying this place. At least not at the prices they want to sell you a half made salad. read more

Pretty disappointed. I was so excited to see this come to Rockwall. In my opinion, we don't have enough healthy options here. The problem with this location is that they are always out of ingredients, like the jap lime sauce my daughter loves so much. It's also quite dirty every time I go in. They always seem to be scraping the bottom of the pans. I'm also not impressed with the amount of food I get for my dollar here. I've had good experiences at other crisp & greens, so I'm really thinking this rockwall one has some work to do. But, each time I go, it's harder for me to go back because it's the same issues each time. I hope they are able to make some improvements. ;) I do find the staff to be super friendly though! read more

This place is so hot inside that it's ungodly. They also don't hire enough employees, so you are required to wait sweating buckets while one person attends to the order line. The other person is in the back working, so it's clear they need more than two employees. I feel bad for the two people working. You can also tell they can't keep up because the salad counter itself is filthy. The food is mostly decent, but there are times when they are out of ingredients and the salads seem a bit sparing. We don't have many healthy options in Rockwall, so I can't exactly say that I would prefer to go to Sweetgreen. The owners MUST address the air conditioner though. No one wants to eat hot salad. read more

The place is super nice and clean and a fantastic location in Rockwall. There aren't many healthy spots so this stands out. Love it that the salads always taste so fresh. The only issue I have is that they're constantly running out of things, like chicken, squash, dressing, etc., and I have to change what I want, at best wait 20 minutes for it to be made. The "squash goals" bowl is to die for, but 2/3 times they're out of squash. Otherwise I'd give it 4-5 stars, for the food. read more

Wow! Lou is an absolute *Rockstar Salad Maker*. Every time I go to places like this, I go wild and add all kinds of things I get excited about, but they don't always work out perfectly. And often, I overlook great combos. I came in, and Lou was friendly and helpful. I could tell she was passionate about salads. I asked her what her favorite salad was, and her eyes lit up. I let her make it her way, and wow!! One of the best salads I've had. Do yourself a favor and ask for Lou the Rockstar. You won't be let down! Tried this place for the first time today. The experience was strange. The girl working the counter was soooo quiet I couldn't hear a word she was saying. She refused to speak up no matter how much I was trying to tip toe over the counter, asking her over and over to repeat herself. My husband also couldn't understand a word she said. She also seemed completely clueless. I asked about the create your own bowl and she said each topping was an additional $4. I almost walked out. Then some guy said the toppings are 60 cents each. (Still strange to charge extra for toppings other than lettuce WTF) Then the girl proceeded to put the teeeniest little spoons of toppings. It honestly was super over priced and such a small portion. I'm not sure we'll be back. It shouldn't cost $25 for some lettuce and some scraps of corn, cheese and like 4 pieces of chicken. Yikes. The only thing that was positive was the dragonfruit açaí bowl, but that was also overpriced compared to similar food in the area. Not sure this place will stay in business... I hope you lower prices, stop up charging for basic ass ingredients and hire some competent people! read more

Out of many items, servers seemed lost. Took a long time to put together two salads. Very messy countertops (near the drinks and on the assembly line). The black tortilla chips that were poured on from the bottom of the pan were old and rubbery. No ice, no soap in bathrooms. It wasn't very busy but the staff just seemed out of sorts. Two stars is generous for this place. I ordered three Cobb salads to go. They didn't look anything like the picture on the menu and were at best, average. The biggest problem I had was the price. $50 for three Cobb salads! You're kidding right? Nope! $17.99 a piece for mediocre Cobb salads in unattractive black to go containers. If you look at their website, it has a menu with no prices. I guess they just charge whatever they feel like. Next time just put a gun to my head. Oh! Wait a minute, there will not be a next time. Fool me once and all of that. Go here if you have money to burn. Otherwise keep driving. Update: After hearing from the owner it appears as though I was wrong about the price of the Cobb Salad. On my receipt they were $17.99 each but possibly I was up charged for extra dressing and croutons that I probably could have lived without. Still, way too expensive for what I received. The thing is, 99% of the time they will either neglect to include every ingredient in the bowls/salads because of simple oversight or not knowing exactly what goes in what bowl/salad. If they don't forget an ingredient, they are often out of ingredients. They also seem to be understaffed and there's consistently a wait, even though there is never a line. Great concept, good salads. Only lost stars for missing a few ingredients on my salad that I added and paid for. Also the dressings for the salad are very small, I would recommend adding an extra dressing. I tried the pomegranate agua fresca and it was awful, sour and did not taste good at all. This place is for sure a vibe. I love the green and white theme they have going on. They do offer a lot of different salads while still catering to all different dietary lifestyles. I ordered the Greek Out Salad togo. It's basically a warm grain bowl with your veggies and protein. The chicken that came with it wasn't my favorite, but everything was fresh and delicious. If y'all are willing to pay 10.00-12.00 for a large sized BK or McDonalds meal, then 10.00-14.00 for a freah healthy salad shouldn't be a big deal. Super disappointed in this place. Was excited to have a healthier option in Rockwall and was pretty letdown with this one. The prices are extremely high for what the offer and many of the "premium toppings" that you get charged over $1 extra for seem pretty basic (cheese and fruit?) I can get a salad with unlimited "premium" toppings for about $5 less at Salata. The staff was very unaware of what was and wasn't considered a "premium topping" making the entire "build your own" ordering process over complicated. We will probably stick to Jason's Deli, Panera or make the drive to Salata for now. read more
