They have a new manager and he is there anytime I go in there and he is all about Customer Service and is Johhny on the spot. I am so impressed with how he manages the staff and he really cares about making sure your order is right he even ran out to my car to make sure I had plasticware and napkins because his staff thought they put it in there but they couldn't remember for sure. He didn't send them out there. He came out there. It's always clean. Their bathrooms are very nice. I'm glad their app started working again. First impressions are everything and Grain and Berry has made a great impression during their Rowlett grand opening. As expected, lines were wrapped around the building but the line was moving very quickly. The opening day rush was met with cheerful workers and a management team who kept the line hydrated. Once inside the building, the quaint ambiance had a welcoming glow from the well lit digital menus, the soft neon signs on top of a wall lined with natural green shrubbery. I ordered a smoothie, toast, and a bowl. The Vacation Smoothie had well balanced flavors of pineapple, mango, and banana. Not one flavor dominated and it was very refreshing and not overly sweet. Guac and Roll toast and What The Cluck toasts were hearty but not overly filling to provide a nice breakfast option. The star of the show was the Grain and Berry Bowl! All the elements were really complimentary to each other and the crispness from the granola was very satisfying to bite into. The fruit was sweet and not overly tart. Can here after a workout the other day. We've been eyeing this place since they put the sign on the building but they just recently opened. There are a lot of options to choose from! I recommend this business, and I will encourage them to step up 1 more star after my next visit, if: They match their food quality up with their price point. $25 for 2 brunch toast slices, and a clumpy-lumpy fruit smoothie is not going build a repeat customer business. This brand new location, across from the Rowlett Target Store, has so much going for it, even though it is parallel with much of Panera's menu. The multi-grain bread was rubbery, but it had very good flavor, and crust. Cheesie Caprese brunch toast had really great zesty flavor, fresh toppings, but the multi-grain toast was the fail. Guac & Roll brunch toast, with slices of hard-boiled egg atop slathered guac, had very good flavors... then, the chew factor of the bread, nope. Fix the bread, I will double my order next visit! The Peachy Smoothie, tasted like Fried Peaches. Something in the smoothie mix made a tennis ball clump. I used the nice silverware to chop it up. Big menu, up on the back wall. The order cashier is way at back end of counter, where customers will stack up in the small spot. Study the online menu before arriving. You can join the customer loyalty club for food item discount. I came the other day for the first time. Great place, nice ambiance, but when I walked in, a very young employee was sitting on the counter which I thought to be quite unsanitary. He took my order and it took me by surprise since he was so young I didn't think he should be working. I will come back, but hopefully someone else can take my order. read more

I don't like writing reviews but this is concerning, I have been here twice with my wife and we love this place we go during the weekend both times a minor around 11 or 12 has been taking our order, he rushed us and ask many questions which is ok but the tone he uses is very rude. He walks back and forth near the food and doesn't use a hairnet or a hat! it's not very sanitary. It's not ok to have a minor working. read more
