This is the best place ive every been too all the food is very good and i love the ice cream. The service is great. And tables are fun.

My husband and I visited Crispy Burger when we were in Aksarben for the Omaha Film Festival. It was a pleasant surprise! I noticed a lot of newer eateries and businesses in Aksarben since the last time I was there, so hopefully some of them stick around a while. Anyhoo, on to Crispy Burger! First off, the interior is bright and colorful, with a lot of orange, red, and then an accent wall of black and white geometric shapes. It's a super welcoming vibe! One thing that's kind of weird is that the building (and Yelp and Google) says Crispy Chicken, but all the wrappers and signs say "Crispy Burger" which was confusing. The smells inside when you walk in make your mouth water, so get ready to over order if it's your first time here (we definitely did!) They have a LOT of fried things, like fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, etc. So this definitely is not an every day place if you are looking for health food. We ordered the cheese sticks to start and they were enormous. Definitely shareable between a few people, as each cheese stick is like an appetizer in itself! I ordered the nuggets and fries, and they were really well breaded and pretty large. You can choose from about 1500 sauces for dipping (ok, maybe more like ten, but that's still a lot!) The fries were great too, that come as a side in your box. My husband had the bone in chicken wings combo, and he was very pleased with his choice. Gigantic wings, with fries, a biscuit, and mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. Now is Crispy Burger fine dining or somewhere you'd go on a date night? Definitely not. But it's nice, tasty food, for a pretty inexpensive price. So I would definitely recommend trying it out next time you're in the Aksarben area! read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for something a little different but also a solid choice and this ticked all the boxes we needed. We ordered a chicken nugget meal with teriyaki skewers and a biscuit with a side of fries. This meal had a ton of food and left us feeling as full as a tick. I'd have to say the fan favorite of the night was the skewers. The flavor was so tasty and light. I believe it was chicken thighs, there were some fatty pieces but I honestly didn't mind. The nuggets reminded me of a similar fast food location with the Golden Arches logo. I honestly didn't mind because these had more flavor and seasonings within; same consistency of chicken within though. Good fried chicken with Asian sides. This is a take out chicken restaurant with plenty of seating, but know it is not as quick as your probably expect it to be. We were definitely waiting for awhile. Did I hate the chicken no, but I'm also not that picky. Make sure to get some of the other sides, we loved the takoyaki (it's like dough balls with squid in it), Cole slaw, and biscuit. We went to Crispy Burger/Chicken on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty empty, but was giving off some serious Los Pollos Hermanos (IYKYK) vibes. I decided on the three piece chicken strips and my cohort got the spicy sandwich. You need to know that each order is made to order. Your food is going to be fresh, but it's going to take time. This is NOT a fast food joint. The two employees I encountered were very nice and attentive. My strips arrived and honestly my box weighed 4 pounds. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. The house sauce was just ok. The fries were perfectly cooked. Only thing I could complain about is the can of Coke Zero. Put in a fountain and I'd be right on a 4.9 or 5. read more

The chicken was RAW and PINK. They really should've taken their time cooking it properly. I wouldn't mind waiting. I wouldn't recommend eating here. The fries were okay same with the biscuits, but the undercooked chicken ruined the meal. Please don't order chicken from this place.. it's not safe. I really wanted to like this place. Fried chicken is one of my sinful pleasures that I like to indulge in whenever I don't care about my health. Ha ha. The restaurant was very clean and the staff seemed very nice and helpful. The chicken is indeed very crispy. The chicken tasted old and tuff. The breading was too salty and the French fries were not cooked very well and very unimpressive. The can of coke was good though. read more
