Open!! Open!!! Such a sweet hometown bakery! Homemade with excellent service. Cakes are reasonable and delicious. Buttercakes, danish and cream donuts rock

Warrington Pastry Shop is located in the middle of a busy shopping center - it is easy to miss. The shop is small, but has 3 large display cases packed full with delicious pastries. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was clear the selection was picked over so I would recommend going early. I ordered cupcakes, donuts, and a loaf cake. The cupcakes were by far the best thing there. The donuts were well-filled but didn't have much flavor and the loaf cake was a bit dry. It's definitely worth a visit!

I am reviewing on service and butter cake. Those two things only. Service was great! Among this covid crisis, they got my order in over the phone and brought it to my car wearing a mask and gloves. I was quite pleased with the ordering and pickup process. NOW THE BUTTER CAKE.. SHUT the front door! It is sensational. The cake is so soft. The butter topping is SO gooey. I literally licked the plate clean because none of that sweet, delectable topping should be wasted. I have had butter cake from other places, but Warrington Pastry is- HANDS DOWN- the BEST.

Look at ALL THAT CREME ! Yummmmm !

Okay , it's been awhile I had to update my review! I've been going to this bakery since I was a little kid. I used to come here with my mom and brother. My brother and I would each pick out one of the iced cookies with the stenciled designs of the smiley face cookies with sprinkles. Well today I got a hankering for one of those cookies and I am so happy to say that my experience was amazing! I got my delicious smiley face cookie but that was just one of the items they offered. They had butter cakes and brownies and cupcakes! They definitely change their items a lot which is great and you can trust that everything will be fresh. I'm also happy to share that their creme filled donuts are now AWESOME ! See my below photo for the packed donuts that I am so happy to eat ! Don't know if they saw my last review or if that was just a fluke but this is the quality I remember and love !

Good bakery. I stopped in for something sweet while running errands and things. Was greeted with kindness. Helpful. Tasty pastry.

Finally one is just around the corner! I stopped by on a weekday and was greeted at the door by a member of their team. After I told him it was my first visit, he explained the prices on the two sizes as well as the flavors they had available for the day. I got a couple of tastes and ended up leaving with a 12oz of the ginger tumeric and a growler of the red zinger. All for around $26-$27. I usually go through one of the Health Ade bottles a day so I love that these are organic and locally nano-brewed. They don't have the tartness that most kombuchas I am used to have, so that is either a plus or minus for you depending on your individual preference. Oh! One more thing, if you live nearby and plan to go here quite a bit, go for the growler. You bring it back with each visit and refills are $15 compared to the $20 you'll spend on your first time. So of course this is a *Covid times review and I felt that they took some great steps to keep customers and their staff safe. They have a little table set up outside where you drop off growlers and pick up refilled ones. Hand sanitizer was on the table and a menu was on the window so the whole interaction was nearly contactless. Andddd now my ginger turmeric is officially done...

She brought samples as full 5oz pours. Never once asked my wife for her opinion on what sample was sufficient....not once. That is absolutely unheard of....even the worst breweries I've been to still follow up with their customers. The food was greasy. Also, when you're at a brewery, the first thing you should nail down as a server is what are people drinking in the terms of BEER. She was ready to start with the food before the beer. The whole experience was confusing. Secondly, a Pilsner came out that wasn't even ours. And the woman who brought that one out looks like she was out in space land. The bill came out and she charged for the 5 ounce pours. I caught her BS and she said I'm sorry. I'll take it off and then apologized that she had been off for a week of work and then followed up with me before we left and said she was "out of it." What waitress admits that they're out of it? Maybe she was smoking the sticky icky before she got to work. Either she needs retrained or find another job. I would buy Tired Hands at a restaurant, but we're never going back to their location.

Standouts included the Doppelbock, Mango-Kiwi Fizzy, Godhi-Real Peach Fruit, and the most unexpected favorite, El Diablo Chelada, a beer-meets-Bloody-Mary situation. Even as someone who usually skips Bloody Marys, this one won us over. Bold, layered, and wildly drinkable. FOOD I have a favorite spot in the city for an affordable burger/fries. It has not changed in over 8 years but I can proudly report it's been dethroned.
