That didn't happen (red flag). Finally I get a scheduled appointment and after waiting all day, no one shows up! I get a text during thr evening with poor excuses and promises for an appointment the next day (flag). The landscaper shows up the next day and just starts work. While he is working I ask if he's aware of the hedge requirements and he say no but, he's got me. Seems to me a phone call should have made but, it wasn't. I go back into my home and when I return to outside of my home all of the hedges are trimmed going far beyond my original request. I received nothing in writing about up charges, pricing for services or at least a notification of the additional cost. Oh yeah the worker didn't know the parameters of the job to start with because there was nothing in writing! I paid the agreed upon price via an electronic invoice. Done deal, right ? I later received an additional invoice for over $200 more! Did I mention I'm a senior on a fixed income? Well I'm mention this to Moreno and Rose via text! Response: that's the price, gas and so on. Then was told I could arrange for a payment. Got some help from my friends and was able to pay the invoice. Late fees of over $60 were added! I DON'T RECOMMEND TO LLC!

William at Pro Cut Tree came recommended from various neighbors, so I contacted him about a fairly large tree/shrub removal project around a single family home. Before the job, he came out to walk the property and do a consultation. William walked me through the pros and cons of removing various trees without pressuring me in any direction, and he made sure to give credence to any sentimental value that certain trees might hold for my family. Ultimately, I had two shrub beds cleared, about four very large trees removed, about six medium trees removed, and minor elevation (removal of low branches) done on a couple of trees. His team was able to complete the project promptly in about a day without dragging on because Pro Cut has top of the line, heavy duty machinery at its disposal. I particularly appreciated Pro Cut's fast response when a tree came down in a storm just before the project was about to start, and William took care of that rapidly too. Great customer service. The bottom line is that Pro Cut came recommended to me, and I highly recommend them to others, too. William gave me a very fair rate based on my research, and I also called to confirm Pro Cut's insurance, which was indeed valid but luckily not needed due to their great work. Despite repeated reports of turf damage caused by their equipment--including deep ruts and extensive lawn deterioration--Shortcutz failed to take responsibility or provide timely, professional repairs. Instead of communicating or proposing a real solution, they showed up unannounced and dumped dirt and grass seed into the damaged areas, leaving our community looking worse than before. Not only was this a substandard "fix," but they never asked for permission or provided a plan. It will take weeks for any grass to grow in--if it does at all--and the current state of the property is unacceptable for any professional landscaping company. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and complete disregard for industry best practices have left our Board with zero confidence in their ability to service any property--residential or commercial. Shortcutz may try to shift blame to weather or the client, but the pattern is clear: they underperform, deflect, and leave you cleaning up the mess. Do yourself a favor--look elsewhere. There are far more professional, responsive, and competent vendors available.
