Ears, paws, legs... I regret leaving my baby here. It was a huge mistake. I should have known when this ghoulish thing of a female demanded cash up front. She charged me 70 claiming my dog was "huge." I wish I could sue!!! It isn't right to get away with doing something like this....I clearly asked this woman if my dog was hurt in the process while attempting to digest the horror of what she did to Roxy's coat. She stammered "you don't see any, do you?." You are very lucky you refused to answer your door and phone 10 minutes after I left. You better close that disgusting place down, I'm warning you. We found UWS Cat Sitting via its instagram, which shows how fun and caring Lauren is with the cats she visits-- you should check it out. Within one day of requesting her services on the website, we had a covid-conscious meet and greet where Lauren came to our apartment in the upper EAST side to meet our cat and learn about our cat care routine (e.g., feeding, litter box, playing, the building and keys). Lauren made sure to cover all the bases and always promptly replied to our last minute requests/questions. Lauren provided two thirty minute visits for $30 each over two days (total $60) and reported back each day w photos and a narrative of the visit via email. Our cat is shy so requires some patience if you want to get her to come out of hiding, but Lauren cat whispered her way into playing with our cat, which we're so grateful for (cats need affection even if they act too cool for school!). I was very alarmed when I went to pick up my fur baby up and he looked super cute with his haircut,…read morebut I noticed he was excited to leave and I immediately noticed one of his paws was bleeding and I bought it to the groomers attention.The blood wound was actively bleeding and to me it seems as though it went unnoticed and I felt maybe he was purposely left out. I was told by the groomer that "oh it's nothing" and that my dog must of been scratching away in the cage they put him in. That only said to me that he was left in distress, or either unattended. She applied some solution to his paw and my dog started crying out loud and she started to say "ohhhh stop it it doesn't hurt, trust me he doesn't feel a thing". Then she put a powder on the wound and it stopped the bleeding right away. I thought that was the end of that. Until we went outside and he was limping. Even after arrival at home he kept crying and limping and licking at his paws. I tried reaching out via email a week ago and still have yet to get a response. I had to reach out to my dogs veterinarian who said his paws were injured, and shocked because he was at the veterinarian prior to his grooming session, and was left in a cage as well and never had any self inflicting injuries. I feel like this, I am very disappointed and hurt I felt like they tried to insult my intelligence by telling me that my dog sustained those injuries himself. My dog is 7 years old and he's been groomed every time it's not anything new to him. I felt like if he was not cooperative why not reach out to me and say I'm sorry I can't groom him for safety precaution. Instead he gets hurt in the process. All in all it was a very traumatic experiences for my dog. He's still healing as of right now.

They moved locations and I saw that they had mostly poor (but recent) reviews. I didn't feel comfortable about using their services anymore. A friend had told me about Park Slope Bubbles. Bella has had two bathes and full "spa treatments" so far. The mobile unit is very clean, and I felt safe putting Bella in their hands. Over the phone and in person, everyone is very kind. It's easy to see that they are animal lovers. Bella had an appointment last week. She didn't want to enter the grooming vehicle because, it meant bath time. The groomers were so lovely, understanding and patient. Bella is very clean, her fur shining, she had a "mani/pedi, ears cleaned and they even brush her teeth. She looks adorable wearing the bandana they gave her. They are fantastic! Bella will be a regular, thank you Park Slope Bubbles.

I've been using Cat Servants since 2017, when I needed someone to look in on my elderly cat, Snoop,…read morewhile I went away for 10 days. Raquel was fantastic from the first meeting. She kept me in the loop while I was gone, sending multiple texts, pics and videos with each visit. My Snoopy was a little "standoffish" (read: a bitch), but Raquel always managed to coax her out and get her to play. On top of it, my bathroom ceiling collapsed while I was away (thanks 120-year-old plumbing), and she immediately let me know so I could take care of it from afar. I've used her several times since then, most recently over the holidays this year. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to Snoop in March , but now I have Kevin, and Raquel continues going above and beyond to make sure he gets the best care possible. She even brought him food from her own stash when he wouldn't eat the kind I had left him. (Cats, amirite?) Also, she's super flexible and accommodating. My plans changed while I was gone during Thanksgiving, and Raquel was able to roll with the punches, with no problem whatsoever. I would 100% recommend her and Cat Servants to anyone.

At 3 months old, our new pup was beyond fluffy and starting to feel uncomfortable. That's when we decided to take her to Paws R' Us. Making an appointment was easy, and the staff was very friendly. Not only did my pup look great after her first grooming and much-needed nail trim, but the staff helped to catch an ear infection that was brewing under all of her ear fur. We immediately took her to our vet for ear drops which quickly remedied the problem.
